Gu Xi looked at the ice crystal birds with a half-smile. Clearly, she was blaming the birds for her recent ordeal.
The ice crystal birds weren't small, though compared to the ferocious beasts of the deep sea, they were tiny and adorable. But compared to Gu Xi, they could completely block out the light from Gu Xi's head just by standing there.
This ice crystal forest is much older than the previous one. Although it's unknown how these trees grow, it must have taken a lot of effort for them to grow large enough to support the weight of an ice crystal bird.
At this moment, the ice crystal birds that Gu Xi had discovered were lined up on the branches of a tree, all tilting their heads to watch her approach from a distance.
Their posture was like that of giant sparrows perched on power lines. However, unlike humans, these silly birds weren't afraid of people at all; instead, they looked at the new species with curiosity.

Their calls sounded like counting, continuing until they cawed five times before stopping. Although there weren't many birds in the nest, and she could count them at a glance, there was no need for them to count.
This silly behavior of the birds really extinguished a lot of her anger. Now she felt like a deflated balloon, and that it would be foolish of her to get angry with these birds.
Ignore it!
Since the silly birds weren't planning to attack, she was too lazy to cause trouble and decided to use the time to look for clues to open the giant door.
Gu Xi glanced at them a couple more times, then ignored them and turned to leave.
However, what she didn't expect was that as she turned and walked away, a flock of birds followed her.
She'd seen ducklings follow their mothers, but she'd never seen adult birds follow a person. What was this? Did they want to be her little brothers?
As Gu Xi pondered this, she quickened her pace, trying to shake off the flock of idle birds. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned; if she went east, the birds would never go west. Finally, Gu Xi, utterly exasperated, suddenly turned around and roared at the birds, "If you keep following me, I'll take all your fruit!"
She had originally intended to spare the birds' food, but unfortunately, the birds didn't seem to appreciate it.
Gu Xi's sudden braking startled the birds. They hadn't expected this strange new species to stop so abruptly, which caused a group of birds to rear-end each other because they couldn't brake in time.
The first bird stops, the second one crashes into it, and then the birds behind keep crashing into the bird in front.
With a thud, the first bird was pinned to the ground because the bird behind it had exerted too much force.
This scene was so silly that Gu Xi didn't even realize it.
She only came to her senses when she saw the silly birds rolling away one by one, and the one at the bottom struggling to pull at its neck buried in the ground.
Gu Xi was speechless at the scene before her. Just how hard must this silly bird's head be to be pressed to the ground?
Seeing the silly bird straining its neck but unable to pull its head out, Gu Xi, for some reason, squatted down and said, "Do you want me to help you?"

The bird below remained still, but the birds that had rolled to the side were cawing merrily.
So the birds must have agreed to her helping them, right?
Gu Xi sighed, put down the spikes in her hand, and then placed her hands on the ice crystal bird's neck, finding a good position to exert force.
Before she started pulling, she kindly asked, "I need to poop!"

A few silly birds gathered around, rhythmically flapping their wings, as if they were a cheerleading squad, cheering her on.
Ignore it! They're just a bunch of idiots. Gu Xi kept trying to convince herself.
