She understood: the space ahead was untouchable, and so was the blue energy crystal.
However, just as she was about to give up and return, the blue energy crystal changed again.
Although it remained silent, it broke apart from the middle. A rhomboid crystal was split in two.
One piece floated down, another piece floated down, and in the middle appeared something else that was completely incomprehensible.
It was a transparent sphere, with a miniature model of an island suspended in the center.
That's right!
Gu Xi stared in disbelief at the ball in front of her.
She never imagined that this was actually a model of the island she was currently on.
She could see the huge tree, the silly birds, and the Ice Crystal Bird BOSS clearly—their locations and actions were all perfectly clear to her.
Seawater began to gradually spread beneath the floating sphere.
Suddenly, a splashing sound came from the space. She recognized the sound; it was the same sound when the seawater started to lap against the shore earlier.
Gu Xi immediately realized what was happening.
She quickly checked the time. It was already 5:10 PM.
"So, does this mean the island is preparing to be submerged?"
She had to leave quickly, but before she left, there was one more crucial thing she needed to do.

She immediately used the game system to check this thing.
Her heart was pounding, and although she hadn't touched it, she still hoped to get some useful information.

Gu Xi suppressed her excitement and walked back in the dark.
The way back was unobstructed, and she easily traversed it. This effortless journey allowed her to release some of her mental energy.
