Ais looked out at the distant sea and replied, "Splash! I'll go check it out!" With that, he prepared to go into the water.
"Wait!" Gu Xi grabbed him. "I'll go down with you."
"Splash! You can go into the water?" Ai Si was surprised. He had been here for several days and had never seen Gu Xi go into the water.
"I can, but I can't stay in the water for too long. If you see that I'm gone, then I should be back on the boat."
Gu Xi can use the Abyss Scale Pearl to go underwater. She had already done some research on it before, and the basic usage wasn't a problem. Now that she had the opportunity, she could finally put it to the test.
She told Aiss to wait by the boat while she went back to the house to retrieve the Abyss Scale Pearl. After leaving the octopus to guard the house, she and Aiss jumped into the sea.
This time, in addition to the Abyss Scale Pearl, Gu Xi also brought the Shark Pearl. After diving to a certain depth, the light in the sea became dimmer and dimmer, while the Shark Pearl emitted a faint light.
Gu Xi was extremely unskilled in water movements, so she let Ai Si go first, while she herself scouted the sea near the ship.
Seeing Ai Si swim away quickly, Gu Xi sighed at the fish legs that were moving freely in the sea. They were all legs, so why could he swim so fast! In the blink of an eye, the fish was gone.
Turning her gaze away, Gu Xi looked around. Using the light from the shark pearl, she saw snowflakes dancing in the air above the sea.
"This is?!"
Bathed in the light of the shark pearl, countless light and delicate particles drifted down slowly. They swayed gently, shimmering with a faint light, like the most delicate stars in the night sky, slowly sinking.
"—Ocean Snow"
The ocean snow, though called snow, is not actually snow. Based on what she has recently learned, this falling snow is probably the rotting flesh of those dead fish.
The drifting snowflakes of rotting flesh naturally attract many fish, who flock to them in droves. In their eyes, these are rare delicacies.
Ugh, this is a bit disgusting.
Thinking of the dead fish, Gu Xi immediately used her mental power to change direction. However, even after changing directions several times, she still couldn't escape this snowy ocean area.
"How large is this area?!"
Gu Xi was quite surprised when she circled back to the original spot. These tiny pieces of rotting flesh were not just rotting flesh; they might contain a super virus. If the fish ate them, it could cause problems.
The thought that the underwater world beneath her boat looked like this made her wish she could bring all her fish into the aquatic space as soon as possible.
When Gu Xi returned to the ship, some tiny snowflakes were still visible in the seawater she had been exposed to. She quickly rinsed the deck where she had been standing with water, somewhat disgusted.
She had just come up when Ais returned. He was soaking wet, with even more snowflakes clinging to him.
This scene directly provoked Gu Xi.
She quickly grabbed a basin of water and splashed it on Ai Si. The water washed the snow off Ai Si back into the sea.
Gu Xi tossed the basin aside, and the octopus caught it. She then said to Ai Si with righteous indignation, "From now on, you have to rinse yourself off every time you come back from the water!"
Ais looked at the octopus innocently. If he remembered correctly, octopuses never rinsed! It climbed onto the boat and sat on the table, casually digging in the mud, and Gu Xi didn't say anything about it!
"Chirp chirp!!"
Octopus and Gu Xi stood aside and echoed, feeling guilty and ignoring Ai Si's gaze.
After calming down, Gu Xi then asked about the Aisi Sea Beast.
What did you discover?
"Plop plop~ The sea monsters here seem to have gone that way."
Ais pointed southwest. (This chapter has been finished. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
