Chapter 250 Mental Riot (2/2)

"Pfft! Looks like you've been affected too. Be careful."

"Are you alright?!"

"Plop! It's okay."

Suddenly, Gu Xi thought of the purpose of fish food, and for a fleeting moment she hated herself for not being able to eat fish food.

However, since her fish can survive by eating fish food, at least she doesn't have to worry about the ship's combat strength.

But soon she realized that the more combat power the better. Because not long after, the crimson gaze above her head turned almost blood red and kept flashing.

Gu Xi stared at the crimson light above her head, somewhat bewildered.

How long has this light been out of use? So long that she thought it was broken!

But who told it not to light up when it shouldn't? And when it does light up, it's like this!

That color! That flickering! Isn't this blatantly telling her that there are many enemies, that the killing intent is strong, and that it's constantly drawing aggro?

Shark King, Octopus and other fish have all seen the Scarlet Gaze, and Little Fat Ball has also witnessed it once from afar, but only Ais has seen it for the first time.

The red light blinded him, causing him to instinctively unleash a burst of mental energy, striking directly at the top of his head.

Bang--

Fortunately, the thing was sturdy enough; although it wobbled, it still hung there.

"Wait, wait! You can't hit him!" Gu Xi quickly stopped him.

Although it attracts hatred, this thing is an alarm, so you can't hit it!

She clearly remembered mentioning it to Ais! Why was her lamp being attacked innocently?

"Pfft! Sorry, I just had a mental breakdown."

I don't believe you!

Gu Xi glared at him. What a load of rubbish! He ate her fish food, and now he's having a mental breakdown?! That's vandalism!

"Since you're so strong, then kill a few more enemies later!"

"Purr!"

I don't know if he agreed or made excuses.

Gu Xi didn't have time to dwell on those things anymore, because she had already spotted with her own eyes a large group of strange sea monsters approaching the Future in the distance.

The Future is surrounded!

They weren't moving particularly fast, and they were also gnawing and shoving at each other.

"Why do these sea monsters look so ferocious, and are completely black?"

"Purr! Mental riot, virus."

"The kind of mental riot you were just talking about?"

"Plop!" Ais pretended to be dead; he didn't say a word.

After a while, the encirclement of the sea monsters tightened further. Now Gu Xi could see them more clearly.

"Strange! Why do they look like they're dead to me?"

Even though living sea creatures can't speak, they have a strong sense of self. But the sea creatures before her seemed to be shrouded in an aura of death, and appeared to be controlled by something.

Like a zombie!

Soon, Gu Xi found similar existences in her own understanding.

They devoured, consumed, and collided with each other, and as the encirclement shrank, their competition intensified. Perhaps it was precisely this zombie-like way of moving that slowed them down considerably.

Gu Xi looked down at our formation.

The octopus gunner was in position, its long tentacles simultaneously controlling eight water and fire cannons, ready to fire in eight directions at any moment.

Shark King lurks a few meters below the bottom of the Future, tasked with protecting the ship.

The Radiant Rays patrolled around the ship, tasked with clearing out anything that got too close to the Future.

The Tuntun Fish and Pearl Fish are positioned between the Shark King and the Future Ship. They are non-combat members and require the Future Ship's defense system for protection.

Everything is ready; the attack can begin at any time. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
