Chapter 264 A Twisted Battle (2/2)

"What's going on! There must be something fishy going on!"

"Sea Ghost, tell me, did you pull some kind of stunt?"

...

Flamefish Beast has not looked like it's going to fight since the beginning, and now it's even adopting a posture that seems like it wants to stand there and take a beating, which is causing more and more dissatisfaction among the audience.

What are they here for in the Arena of Life and Death? Of course, they're here to seek out authentic combat and experience that exciting yet risky atmosphere. And this challenge from the Sea Ghosts is exactly what they're looking for!

"Purr! Shut up!"

Aisi had tolerated the insolent noise of the small fry in the audience time and time again, but now that they dared to chatter on, Aisi's pupils flashed, and she directly hung an ice needle above the heads of all the deep-sea creatures.

These ice needles were so small and subtle that they were almost invisible. They also had the effect of isolating mental energy, so the deep-sea creatures were completely unaware that the ice needles above their heads could end their lives at any moment.

"Why is the Ice Shield Fish so fierce?!"

"What?! How dare a sea monster be so arrogant!"

"Watch out, or I might buy an Ice Shield Fish as a slave when I go out!"

"...Where can I buy a sea creature I've never even seen before?"

...

Gu Xi knew everything Ai Si did. Ai Si had already hung ice needles on their heads, yet they were still so arrogant! This situation really made Gu Xi sweat for them.

If this drags on any longer, Gu Xi is afraid both sides will explode. If Ai Si unleashes her disobedience skill and wipes out the arena, then things will really get complicated.

To avoid further trouble, Gu Xi quickly spoke up: "Ais, let's get started."

What appears to be an instruction is actually her way of saving those poor deep-sea creatures.

Ai Siwei nodded almost imperceptibly, then without raising her hand, she simply gave a look, and giant ice chains bound the Flame Fish Beast.

Suddenly, the ice chain shot up into the air, lifting the Flame Fish Beast high into the air.

Although the Flamefish Beast wanted to give up, its survival instinct made it struggle. Its flame-like scales shimmered violently as it tried to break free from the cold restraints.

Its enormous tail thrashed wildly, spraying bursts of liquid flames all around, but the ice chains remained completely still.

Blue-purple flames shot out in all directions, and the sea ghosts serving nearby quickly used their spatial abilities to teleport away the flames.

Ais looked indifferently at the suspended Flamefish Beast, as if it were a tiny shrimp. He was already thoroughly annoyed by the current situation, and although the Flamefish Beast was innocent, he really didn't have much patience left.

From his vantage point, Fishman Number One suddenly gave a forceful command: "Flame Fish Beast, breathe fire!"

The Flamefish Beast opened its mouth wide and let out a low roar. It gathered its spiritual power in its mouth, trying to spew flames at Ais, but the ice chains seemed to have a magical power that suppressed its power. The flames were extinguished by the cold air emanating from the ice chains as soon as they reached its mouth.

At this moment, Ais slowly approached the suspended Flame Fish Beast. He raised his hand, and more ice spikes began to grow on the ice chains, slowly piercing towards the Flame Fish Beast's body.

Fishman Number One gave the forceful command: "Break free from your restraints!"

The Flamefish Beast writhed wildly, tearing the ice chains apart with a creaking sound, but its struggles were in vain.

The ice spikes were released, but instead of piercing the Flame Fish Beast, they filled the space where it was writhing, rendering it unable to move.

Ais raised her eyebrows and said to the Sea Ghost referee, "Pfft! Isn't this enough to decide the winner?"

"This..." The Sea Ghost Judge looked at the Flame Fish Beast. For some reason, even though it was the Flame Fish Beast hanging there, it felt that it might be the next one to be hanging there.

"Ice Shield Fish wins!"

Fishman Number One: "No! The Flame Fish Beast is not dead yet."

Ai Si looked up, staring at it like it was a dead fish, then turned to Gu Xi and said, "Pfft! Can I kill it?" (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
