It burns as a form of remembrance.
It escaped the cage, but many more sea creatures remained there forever.
Splash—
Suddenly, it heard the sound of rushing water.
Flamescale turned its head to look at the source of the sound.
The ice birdcage has started to melt!
Knowing that Gu Xi and Ai Si had already gone down, it quickly looked at its feet in surprise.
Crack—
The ice wall, extending an arm's length from it, cracked open with fissures resembling a spiderweb. Along with the shattering ice wall came Ais's overwhelming spiritual power.
It looked down and, sure enough, Ais was standing on the ice, dismantling the magnificent project he had built.
Large chunks of ice began to break off and slowly sank towards the seabed. As for the ice wall beneath its feet, it was very solid and showed no signs of melting.
Such precise mental manipulation ability!
Flamescale was alarmed, wondering what to do next. Just then, a voice entered its ears.
"Flame Scale! Keep burning!"
Gu Xi didn't use her mental power; she shouted loudly from the bottom up using her voice.
Yan Lin stared blankly at the lonely ice pillar beneath his feet, and for a moment felt the resentment in his heart dissipate as the melting ice walls collapsed.
It wanted to continue.
Suddenly, it heard the sound of rushing water behind it, and it quickly turned around.
A huge ice basin rises faintly from the sea, and the seawater around the basin seems to be pulled, forming small whirlpools that constantly impact the basin.
Under Ai Si's mental control, the ice basin slowly rose and steadily floated towards the surface of the water.
Before long, the ice basin came to a steady stop on the sea surface. The basin was filled with a lot of seawater, and its underwater flames were also completely contained within the basin.
Flame Scale stared in disbelief, speechless for a moment.
Just then, Gu Xi's voice rang out again.
"Flame Scales! Burn it without worry! Keep it aimed at the basin!"
Upon hearing her words, Flamescale felt a strange emotion welling up inside it. It knew that Gu Xi wanted it to continue venting, but the way she did it always felt inexplicably strange.
It doesn't want to burn anymore, it wants to go down!
Flamescale contacted Ais using its mental power. It thought that since Ais had brought it up, it should also be responsible for getting it down.
"Plulu? What did you say?" Ai Si had just finished cooking when she received Yan Lin's message.
"Pfft! I said, send me down."
It was now quite certain that it was utterly absurd for a sea monster to be lifted into the sky by a hundred-meter-high ice pillar.
"Puff puff~ The sea breeze is too strong, I can't hear you~"
"Pfft! You! I'm not burning anymore! I want to get down!"
"Splash splash~ The waves are too big, I can't hear you~"
How could a spiritual dialogue be unheard?
Flamescale knew that Ais was doing this on purpose. But what could it do? Any sea beast or deep-sea creature knew what an SSS-level creature was like.
Although Ai Si has nothing to do with "arrogance," she perfectly embodies the word "presumptuous."
It sighed helplessly, then leaned down to look, eager to try.
Gu Xi noticed Ai Si was in a daze and asked, "What? Yan Lin spoke to you?"
Ais turned around and replied, "Plop plop~ Hmm, it says it wants to get down."
Gu Xi: "Aren't you going to burn it?"
Ais: "Plop! Hmm, it's not burning anymore."
Gu Xi: "..."
At this moment, she gave the impression of having set up a stage but not performing.
Gu Xi: "Fine, let's get on. We've finished dealing with things here, it's time for us to set sail."
Ais nodded in agreement.
Just then, a fish jumped off the platform! (This chapter has been finished. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
