Gu Xi was conflicted because this matter had already begun.

Gu Xi felt somewhat aggrieved. The thought that many of the methods she had used on Mercury might provoke hostility from the deep-sea race and sea beasts of this world made her unusually worried.
In particular, she felt that she could no longer act based on her own self-righteous ideas regarding how to increase communication among deep-sea creatures.
After a moment's thought, Gu Xi confided her concerns to the Book of Greed. Unexpectedly, the Book of Greed countered with a question.
It said, "Do you think that what sea ghosts can do, you can do too?"
Gu Xi didn't know how to answer this question. Of course, she knew that the Sea Ghost not only had special skills, but also spent a long time building up its current trading network.
What she, or rather the Mercurian, possessed were simply things that were vastly different from those of the ocean world. And what she wanted was simply to select the appropriate parts and promote these things among the deep-sea race.
She clarified once again, "I'm not that arrogant. I'm very clear about our advantages. My ideal situation is to make friends with friendly deep-sea creatures, resist hostile deep-sea creatures, and find a way of survival that suits us. That would be enough."
These words came from Gu Xi's heart; she wasn't lying at all.
Perhaps it was because she had spoken her mind that she felt much better. Coupled with a clearer understanding of the world, she now felt incredibly motivated.
Similarly, Gu Xi's attitude increased the Book of Greed's favor towards her, and within its capabilities, it was willing to provide her with more conveniences.
The Book of Greed ended the conversation by saying, "If you need auctions featuring sea monsters, I can pick some out for you."

However, before heading to the auction, the Book of Greed told her that if she had the chance, she could check out the high-end auctions, where she should be able to find the sea creature she wanted more easily.
Reminded by this, Gu Xi remembered the invitation to the high-level auction that the arena manager had given her not long ago. So she decided to go and take a look after she returned from the auction.
After bidding farewell to the Book of Greed, Gu Xi joined today's auction.
Gu Xi's target at this auction was a multi-land space with an area of 1,000 square meters. After her routine shopping spree, she hurried back to the Future.
After sorting the auctioned items into categories, keeping them, or sending them out, Gu Xi then found the invitation to the high-end auction.
Since the situation was still unclear, but previous experience told Gu Xi that she should bring more gold coins.
