Gu Xi lay half-reclined, her brows slightly furrowed, her eyelids tightly closed, and fine beads of sweat constantly dripping from her forehead. At this moment, her face was pale and weak, and her head was shaking erratically.
While fishing, Ai Si suddenly sensed Gu Xi's unstable mental energy and knew something was wrong.
He quickly stood up and teleported to the door of Gu Xi's room.
Flamescale rushed over, but after glancing at Ais who was guarding the door, it didn't dare to go in rashly.
Other fish arrived as well, and everyone cheered Gu Xi on from outside the door.
"Chirp?!" (What's wrong with her?)
"Pfft~ I forgot, we're in the Virus Era right now. This virus can cause mental disturbances. She's been exposed to quite a few viruses before, and although she wasn't infected, she might encounter trouble when she advances."
"Pfft! Why are you only telling me now! What do we do now?"
The other fish were also getting impatient; they all surrounded Ais, waiting for his answer.
"Purr! Wait!"
Yan Lin snorted and turned to sit at the dining table next door.
The other fish also went over and sat down.
Everyone stopped working and just waited here for Gu Xi's safety.
At this moment, Gu Xi was also hiding and dodging in the sea of consciousness.
Logically speaking, advancing in mental power should be easy as long as it's within the same race.
But why is her mental energy so violent?
"Could it be that the limitation for humans is below S-level?" Gu Xi muttered to himself.
However, Gu Xi quickly denied her idea.
"No! That's not right. If that were the case, how could Lorraine have reached S-rank? There must be another reason!"
"Since they're so ferocious, I'll tame them one by one!"
Gu Xi composed herself and began to carefully observe the strange phenomena caused by these violent mental energies.
Although these mental energies appear chaotic, they actually follow some subtle patterns. Like the air currents in a gale, they seem to blow randomly without any direction, but in reality, they flow along the differences between normal and violent mental energies.
Gu Xi used his core spiritual power to condense a shield to keep himself unaffected in the turbulent sea of spirit.
She used her mental energy shield to resist the direct impact of those violent mental energies, preventing her consciousness from being completely shattered.
Gu Xi focused his mental energy and began trying to capture those smaller, more violent streams of mental energy.
When a relatively weak but violent stream of mental energy approached the shield, she quickly extended her mental energy tentacles, tightly binding the energy around it. Then, she manipulated her mental energy to pull the violent energy into the shield.
After the violent mental energy was pulled into the shield, she tried to conjure up a calm and harmonious image in her mind, attempting to bring tranquility to the raging power.
Gradually, this originally violent mental energy began to become docile, and its power was gradually assimilated by Gu Xi and reintegrated into her mental energy.
"it works!"
Gu Xi was delighted and continued the taming process in this manner.
She repeated this process again and again, capturing, pulling, soothing, and assimilating. Each success brought a slight calm to her spiritual sea, and her own strength grew stronger in the process.
However, as she tamed more and more of the mental energy, the remaining violent mental energy seemed to sense the danger and began to unite.
Several powerful spiritual energies converged into a tremendous force, sweeping towards Gu Xi like a roaring dragon. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
