Ais's speed moved Yanlin to tears.
"Pfft! Why am I not ice? If I were ice, I could build my own way across."
"Puff puff! You can walk on fire if you want. Light a line and follow it."
Ai Si's casual words amused Gu Xi, who noticed that Ai Si had become much more talkative since Yan Lin arrived.
Seeing several chubby little balls already standing on the ice path, Gu Xi urged, "Let's go. It's getting dark, we're just going to take a look, we'll explore further tomorrow."
Flamescale hurriedly ran onto the icy path, following behind the little fat ball.
Gu Xi stepped on the spikes and glided across the ice using them as a support.
Her speed was astonishing, like a flash of lightning, and in the blink of an eye she overtook the fish walking in front of her.
The fish struggled to move forward on the ice, chasing each other, but they could never catch up with Gu Xi's speed. They could only watch helplessly as Gu Xi went further and further away.
Flame Scale tossed aside the chubby little ball that was tugging at its tail and stared in astonishment at Gu Xi, who had already disappeared.
"Whoosh! Wait, how is she so fast? Is she still S-rank?"
Lingling tugged hard on Yanlin's tail, not forgetting to reply, "We're lined up, hurry up! You're SS-rank, you're definitely much faster than us."
Yi Yi joined in, "That's right, this will save a lot of time!"
Flame Scales tried to pull them along, but they didn't budge.
"Pfft! What's wrong with you guys? Don't you like ice skating?! This is perfect for you!"
Er'er said confidently, "We're going to do something serious now, not play around."
With each pull and tug, the fish slowed down even further.
Ais watched them from behind and couldn't help but sigh. Then she made a model of something resembling a fire elemental cannon behind them.
Then--
emission!
Several fish happily rode "rockets" forward.
The little chubby balls were fine; they were all deep-sea creatures that manipulated ice, so they weren't afraid of the cold. But Flamescale, a sea beast that manipulated fire, was frozen so badly by the powerful mental ice cannon that it was grimacing.
"Ah~ So cold~"
"Puff puff~ You can light a fire and it'll be ready. Actually, you can launch it yourself. If you're cold, you can light a fire to warm yourself up."
Ais's voice came quite a distance after the fish, including Yanlin, had gone.
At this moment, Flame Scale couldn't help but want to curse the fish.
"Pfft! Why didn't you say so sooner!"
"Okay, okay! Stop nagging!"
Lingling couldn't help but want to understand, but she had to give up because she was holding onto Yanlin's tail.
The speed of the ice rockets was indeed very fast, and they quickly caught up with Gu Xi.
Gu Xi watched as a group of fish scurried away from her, and looked at Ai Si, who was chasing after them, with great surprise.

"Plop plop~ I made an ice cannon and launched them."
Gu Xi was speechless, choked by his whimsical idea.
After a few moments, she said, "Won't they be washed into the sea?"
Gu Xi's worries quickly dissipated because she heard Ai Si say that he had already built a thick barrier at the very front of the road, so the fish would at most just bump into the wall.
"Purr~ The SS-class sea beasts are tough and thick-skinned, they won't get hurt. Those little chubby balls are fine too, there are Flame Scales blocking their way."
Look how well this arrangement is! How perfectly it's arranged!
Gu Xi glanced at him with a silent sigh, and finally let him go.
