Then Yanlin's voice became somewhat heavy.
"Pfft! These are the remains of the Flame Fish Beast. I think it's most appropriate for me to handle its remains."
Everyone nodded silently after hearing what Yanlin said.
Gu Xi looked at Ai Si and saw him silently putting away all the bone boxes, preparing to take them back.
Ais packed up the box, Yanlin was the first to leave the room, and Lingling followed. During this time, no fish spoke.
Seeing Yanlin's reaction, Gu Xi thought that Ai Si's idea of returning these skeletons to different sea beasts might be an excellent one.
Ais acted quickly, and he finished collecting the sea monster skeletons in no time.
Then everyone headed toward the third room.
Gu Xi pondered to himself. The exploration of the rooms was now more than halfway complete, and he still didn't know what was in the remaining two rooms. He hoped it wasn't just some useless stuff.
Gu Xi opened the door to the room, and a blinding golden light burst out.
This feeling...
Gu Xi's eyes lit up immediately.
She was all too familiar with that golden light.
Not only was she familiar with it, but all the fish were familiar with it.
The exclamations of surprise upon discovering the treasure grew louder and louder.
"It's gold coins!"
"Whoosh! Gold coins!"
"..."
The room was filled with piles of gold coins, which shimmered with a captivating luster under the dim light.
It seemed to be enticing everyone, constantly saying to people and fish, "Come on! Come on!"—such an extremely tempting phrase.
The unpleasant mood that had lingered on Yan Lin's face was instantly swept away, just like dark clouds being dispelled by the sun.
Its eyes sparkled with excitement, and the corners of its mouth couldn't help but turn up.
Lingling was also attracted by the gold coins scattered all over the ground and excitedly wanted to pounce on them.
Seeing this, Gu Xi quickly called out to them to stop.
"Hey, you two, wait a minute!"
Upon hearing Gu Xi's call, Yan Lin and Ling Ling immediately stopped, turned around, and looked at Gu Xi with a puzzled expression.
No sooner had Gu Xi finished speaking than she herself rushed towards the pile of gold coins.
"Haha! How could I let you guys lie down first when it's such a good thing! I'm off!"
As he spoke, Gu Xi rolled around on the pile of gold coins without any regard for his image. The friction between his body and the coins produced a series of squeaking sounds.
"How could you be so mean!" Lingling ran over, complaining angrily.
The moment it went up, its round body smashed the gold coins all over the ground.
The gold coins rolled and tumbled in front of Flame Scale.
"Pfft! Pfft! Lingling, if you do this, how are we going to clean up the mess later!"
Although Flamescale said that, its fish hands were not slow; it bent down and picked up the gold coins into its personal bag.
Then he ran over and became one of them.
Ais saw several children innocently rolling around on the pile of gold coins and couldn't help but sigh deeply.
He really wanted to say that there weren't many gold coins here, so there was no need to get so excited.
But Gu Xi seemed to have heard Ai Si's thoughts.
She turned her head and spoke to Ais with particular seriousness.
"Ais, you don't understand! It's not about how many gold coins you have! It's about the feeling of having piles of gold coins!"
"You have to imagine that you're not sleeping on gold coins, but on a pile of things you want!"
"The feeling of excitement! The wish list! Got it?"
Yanlin and Lingling nodded repeatedly after hearing Gu Xi's words.
Ais really didn't understand, because he didn't want anything, so seeing how happy they were, he remained silent and only said, "As long as they're happy."
As for him, he was now more interested in knowing when to collect the gold coins and then head to the last room. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
