Chapter 326 Crossing the Thunderstorm, the Mysterious Tower (2/2)

The Future immediately accelerated and moved forward in this tranquil sea.

In the darkness, a faint light flickered in the distance; Flamescale, skilled in fire, was particularly sensitive to light.

It spotted the faint light at a glance.

Flame Scale suddenly shouted, "Whoosh! Look, what's that?"

Gu Xi jogged over and looked in the direction it pointed. He could vaguely see a huge outline in the layers of mist.

As the ship slowly approached, its outline gradually became clearer, and a tower-like building appeared before everyone's eyes.

Flame Scale stared in astonishment, his mouth slightly agape, before finally managing to utter, "Pfft...whoosh! How come there's a tower here?"

Gu Xi also showed a surprised expression, her eyes fixed on the tower.

Flame Scale kept muttering to himself, "Pfft! This is so strange, so strange!"

The indistinct outline appeared and disappeared in the darkness, its faint light appearing and disappearing intermittently.

With the help of this faint light, Gu Xi took in the outline of the tower.

This tower-shaped building is enormous; the base alone is two to three hundred meters high, and its exact height is even more difficult to determine.

Gu Xi pondered to himself, "This tower is so huge, yet no sea beast knows about it. Perhaps it appeared suddenly."

If it had stood here for so long, and had endured countless years on the sea, how could it have completely avoided the deep-sea creatures and sea monsters?

But if it really appeared suddenly, how did it appear?

Gu Xi's thoughts raced wildly through her mind like a runaway horse. Suddenly, an idea flashed through her mind like lightning.

"Could it be that pillar?" she blurted out unconsciously.

This short sentence immediately caught the fish's attention.

"Pfft! What did you say?"

Gu Xi composed himself and said, "I think the existence of this tower here is related to the pillar we just saw."

Gu Xi recalled what had happened around that pillar, and the more she thought about it, the more reasonable her guess seemed.

In short, just go and see for yourself.

As the Future approached, everyone could see the Mysterious Tower more clearly.

The tower is tall and imposing, and is carved with reliefs of Thar.

The entire tower is made of a stone that emits a faint blue luster, and the stone seems to be covered with densely packed golden characters.

The faint light that everyone saw on the ship was emitted by those golden characters.

What's even stranger is that the surrounding seawater becomes exceptionally calm as it approaches the base of the tower, without a single ripple, as if suppressed by an invisible force.

Suddenly, a ball of light shone from somewhere on the tower, like a bright moon shining on the sea.

Beneath the sphere of light, the enormous door creaked open and swung wide.

The absolute opposition between light and darkness makes this entrance even more eerie.

It was as if this were a welcoming ceremony prepared for new guests.

Gu Xi and the fish looked at each other in bewilderment.

"Pfft? Shall we go in?"

Although Flamescale was asking a question, its eager and ready-to-fight demeanor showed no trace of its earlier worry.

"Chirp chirp!" (Aren't you scared?!)

Flame Scale gave the octopus, which appeared out of nowhere, a slap on the forehead.

"I've never been afraid!"

Gu Xi sighed, gave it a complicated look, and then began to assign tasks.

"Ais, Flamescale, and I will go up; the other fish will wait outside."

"If things get bad, you guys just sail away. Ais, Flamescale, and I will find a way to catch up." (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
