As the hot air balloon slowly rose and drew closer to her heart, Gu Xi's heartbeat quickened involuntarily.
If she wasn't mistaken, the area ahead was where the mental barrier of Tar had appeared earlier. Once she passed through that barrier, she could get close to the heart.
"Everyone, pay attention. Do not use any mental energy from now on, including detection." Gu Xi stared intently at his heart, his voice carrying a barely perceptible tension that echoed in the space.
Ais and Yanlin also sensed the tense atmosphere, nodded silently, and concealed their auras.
Ais stopped recording the movements with her weak mental energy, and Yanlin also perked up and withdrew her leaked mental energy.
As the hot air balloon gradually approached the area surrounding Gu Xi's heart, her heart leaped into her throat.
Ais stared intently ahead, ready to deal with any potential danger. Flamescale was also tense, its eyes wide open, afraid of missing any change.
Gu Xi took a deep breath, trying to stay calm.
At times like these, it's crucial to stay calm. She carefully maneuvered the hot air balloon, moving it forward little by little.
Time seemed to freeze at that moment, and every second felt incredibly long.
Gu Xi felt her palms were sweating, but she still dared not relax for a moment.
As the hot air balloon entered the outer area, a strange, sticky feeling suddenly washed over everyone, and everyone tensed up.
But the sticky feeling was only momentary; after that, the entire space was completely unobstructed.
"Phew..." Gu Xi let out a long sigh of relief, feeling as if she had just escaped from the jaws of death. She turned to look at Ai Si and Yan Lin, and found that they also looked relieved.
"It seems that as long as I don't use my mental power, I'll be fine."
"Puff puff~" Ais stared thoughtfully at the hot air balloon. "Perhaps, we've relied too much on mental power before?"
"Pfft~ Why so many feelings? Shouldn't we be celebrating our successful transmigration?" Flame Scale cheered weakly, "Great! We did it!"
This half-hearted celebration made Gu Xi burst out laughing.
Flame Scale really knows how to create a cheerful atmosphere. Although she really didn't want to tease it, she really wanted to give it a thumbs up for its ability to liven things up.
Having abandoned her brief moment of playfulness, Gu Xi continued to maneuver the hot air balloon closer to her heart.
Although the crisis has passed, it's best to be cautious as we don't know if other problems will arise.
As the hot air balloon drew closer, the shape of the heart gradually became clearer.
Previously, she couldn't see clearly from below, but now she can see many details.
The heart floated in the air, emitting a soft light, without any of the violent aura unique to the Tal psychic power they had encountered before.
It is like a huge, pulsating gem, its surface covered with a flowing film of light, on which countless tiny Tar script characters shimmer.
From within the heart, dazzling beams of light occasionally emanate, intertwining and colliding in the air to create a series of magnificent and colorful scenes.
“This…this is the heart?” Gu Xi murmured to himself.
Seeing something so beautiful, she could hardly believe that it was somehow related to the Tar Spirit Pearl they had seen before.
"Plop!!"
Ais seemed to have seen something; her eyes widened instantly, and she gasped in surprise. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
