Even more bizarrely, this space seems to have become extremely unstable due to the disappearance of the heart.
The surrounding scenery began to flicker, like an old television screen with a poor signal, the image constantly jumping and emitting a faint "buzzing" sound.
"Plop!" Ais suddenly pointed in a direction with her fin, her voice urgent and tinged with tension.
Gu Xi's heart tightened, and he quickly looked in the direction Ai Si pointed.
A black vortex appeared in that direction.
The vortex was about half a person's height, with jagged edges, as if it had been forcibly torn open by some force.
It rotated slowly, its center pitch black, as if connected to another unknown space, exuding an eerie and mysterious aura that made people hesitant to approach.
"Is this... the exit?" A thought flashed through Gu Xi's mind, and a strange emotion welled up in her heart.
Does this mean that this space will be closed after the heart is reclaimed by the game system?
Gu Xi's mind raced. She knew this wasn't the time to dwell on these things; she had to leave as soon as possible!
She suppressed her shock and confusion, and quickly used object manipulation to instantly cover the treasure chests scattered on the ground and the ice shield sword lying quietly.
Under the manipulation of the object, the treasure chest and the ice shield sword floated up lightly as if grasped by an invisible hand, flying towards Gu Xi. Gu Xi waved his hand, putting them all into his system inventory.
After doing all this, she did not hesitate to use her skill to control the hot air balloon and fly rapidly towards the black vortex.
Without asking any further questions, Ais immediately applied an ice shield to the hot air balloon, while Flame Scale gripped the edge of the basket tightly.
One person and two fish held their breath, sitting in the hot air balloon, and plunged into the ever-swirling black vortex.
After a dizzying spin, Gu Xi felt a blur before her eyes, and the scenery around her changed instantly.
The once empty and eerie space vanished, replaced by a silent sea. The sea was like a mirror, carrying a faint salty smell, and a breath of fresh air flowed into Gu Xi's nostrils, instantly clearing her mind.
Not far away, a towering giant tower stands on the sea, its body still solemn and showing no signs of distress.
"Pfft! It's out!" Flame Scale's eyes widened as he looked around in disbelief at everything.
"Chirp chirp!"
The octopus's voice came from a ship not far away. Flamescale, with its sharp eyes, immediately spotted the Future, which was docked not far away.
"Splash! The boat! Our boat's over there! Octopus!"
Flamescale momentarily forgot that it was still in the sky and waved excitedly.
Meanwhile, the octopus on the ship was waving its eight long tentacles excitedly at them, while the little chubby creatures were jumping and bouncing on the deck, making cheerful noises.
Gu Xi maneuvered the hot air balloon, quickly flying towards the ship. Moments later, it landed steadily on the deck.
"Chirp chirp!"
The octopus habitually climbed onto Gu Xi's leg, but was intercepted by Yan Lin midway, who kept telling it about how he spent most of his time in the air.
After exchanging pleasantries, Gu Xi's gaze involuntarily drifted towards the giant tower.
Just then, the giant tower suddenly began to tremble violently, and bricks and stones on its body began to peel off piece by piece, falling into the sea and stirring up huge waves.
Immediately afterwards, the entire tower began to twist and deform in a bizarre way, as if it had been kneaded into a ball by an invisible hand.
"Plop?! It collapsed!" Ais stared in astonishment at the scene.
Flame Scale's hand, which was holding the octopus, paused, and his expression changed in surprise. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
