"I'll go prepare the list right away!"
"I'm going too!"
"Let's go together! Let's go together!"
The group chat was buzzing with excitement.
Sun Yiming looked at the messages in the group and his face showed excitement.
He knew that Sister Xi was going to pull off something big this time.
How could he be absent from something like this! He has to go too. It's been so long since he's been on the Future, and he misses that octopus he hasn't seen in ages.
Thinking of this, Sun Yiming felt a surge of excitement and immediately began to organize the resources at his disposal, preparing to make a big splash.
After closing the group chat, Gu Xi leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes to rest.
She knew what was coming without even looking; anyone with a brain would know to seize the opportunity.
All she had to do next was wait quietly for the merchants to arrive on the Future with their goods and personnel.
This exhibition and sales event is not just about making money; more importantly, she wants to take this opportunity to let the deep-sea creatures understand human culture.
All she could say was that it was a good start; the rest was up to humanity to handle.
Gu Xi opened her eyes, a determined light shining within them.
Several days and nights later, the time jumped to day 130 on the maritime calendar. Perhaps because the Future was sailing back from deep to shallow water, the waves and thunderstorms it encountered were getting smaller and smaller.
Now, wind, waves, and thunderstorms have almost no impact on the Future's voyage.
In the past few days, Gu Xi has received a series of requests and lists from businessmen. After reviewing them and finding no problems, she added them as friends and asked those who were willing to come to come on their own.
Of course, they have boats, and they take care of their own food, lodging, and travel expenses; after all, business requires investment.
After finishing another order, Gu Xi inadvertently glanced at the invitation You Yin had given her, which was glowing. She put down her pen, stood up, and walked out with the list in her hand.
As the light from the invitation faded, Gu Xi felt a ripple.
She looked up and saw Youyin appear out of thin air. It was surrounded by a faint halo, its form ethereal and indistinct.
"Is this the Future?" a deep voice came, tinged with disbelief.
Gu Xi nodded, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Welcome to the Future."
Youyin's gaze swept across the surroundings, its eyes filled with astonishment. Its gaze swept over the wide deck, over the towering main building, and over the faintly visible vegetation in the distance.
"This... is truly unbelievable." You Yin murmured to herself, her whole body glowing. "I never imagined Miss Gu's ship would be so large. And these materials..."
It's all gold coins! This ship is clearly made of piles of gold coins!
It's all about money!
Gu Xi smiled but didn't speak. She waited quietly for You Yin to recover from her shock.
"Ahem." You Yin coughed lightly, snapping back to reality. "I'm sorry, you must have found this amusing."
Gu Xi smiled and said, "Let me show you around, starting with the venue for this exhibition and sales event."
Gu Xi turned around and walked towards the main building, with You Yin following closely behind.
