After You Yin left, Gu Xi felt a pang of regret. It was a pity You Yin wasn't a fish and couldn't consume fish food. Otherwise, winning her favor would have been a piece of cake.
Gu Xi watched You Yin's departing figure, sighed deeply, and then used her mental energy to scan her surroundings. Because Lu Man had told her that she was about to meet up with the Future.
Gu Xi's mental energy surged out like a tide, instantly covering the surrounding sea area. Within his perception range, the number of ships was quite unusual.
"So many?!" Gu Xi frowned slightly, a strange feeling welling up in her heart.
Logically, the deep-sea human merchants she had invited shouldn't have arrived in this area yet. But the sudden appearance of so many ships around her must be suspicious. She decided to wait and see, secretly observing the movements of these ships.
Time passed by, night fell, and the sea was gradually shrouded in darkness.
Gu Xi's gaze sharpened as a large but shabby ship was sailing towards the Future.
Is that the Dream Ship? Gu Xi used his mental power to search and found a woman on board.
As the ship drew closer, Gu Xi noticed the woman waving towards the Future.
"Sister Xi! Is that Sister Xi?!"
Gu Xi was taken aback, and immediately confirmed that this was indeed Lu Man himself.
Gu Xi extended an invitation, and Luhmann boarded the ship. The sheer size and luxury of the Future left her speechless.
To her shock, the octopus waved its tentacles, and a giant chain flew out, binding the two ships tightly together.
Gu Xi then led a completely bewildered Lu Man into the main building's restaurant.
Earlier, Gu Xi had informed the fish and guests that they could choose whether to participate. In the end, only the little fat balls, the flame scales, and the octopus were willing to come out.
After finishing its work, the octopus returned to serve the guests food and then sat down at the table. Little Fatty Ball and Flame Scale also took their seats one by one.
Luman looked at the strange creatures with some apprehension. She couldn't tell whether they were deep-sea creatures or sea beasts. Seeing that they were all staring at her, she felt both fear and unease.
Gu Xi coughed, breaking the silence, and then gave Luman a brief introduction to the sea creatures.
Luhmann's expression remained slightly stiff after hearing this.
However, Gu Xi didn't pay much attention to her restraint. Instead, he asked a question with a serious expression.
Did you encounter many ships when you arrived?
Luman was taken aback, then quickly shook his head.
"No, I didn't see a single ship when I arrived. Is there a problem?"
Gu Xi said meaningfully, "Suddenly, many ships appeared around me."
Upon hearing this, Luman's face immediately turned pale, and she hurriedly shook her head.
“I didn’t notice these things when I came here.”
Luhmann cautiously probed, "Is there a problem?"
Gu Xi looked into Luman's eyes and saw a mixture of distress and fear on her face. He sighed inwardly and said, "I'm just worried that these ships are of unknown origin. We should be careful."
Luhmann's face remained grim. "I really don't know what happened. When I arrived, I didn't see a single ship."
Gu Xi remained silent. Although she didn't know if Luman was lying, the sudden appearance of so many ships around her was unsettling.
"How about we go take a look together?" Gu Xi suggested.
Luhmann nodded. "Okay."
Flamescale stood by, eager to try. "Whoosh! Burn all those ships! Whoosh!"
Gu Xi glared at it.
