While the exhibition and sales activities were in full swing, Aisi, Yanlin, and several sea beasts gathered together.
Ais used her mental power to isolate the surroundings, preventing the deep-sea creatures from hearing their conversation.
Ai Si's actions instantly caught Gu Xi's attention. She turned her head and looked towards the main building, and suddenly caught sight of the sea beasts coming and going. She smiled knowingly.
At this moment, everyone was discussing the sea monsters brought by the deep-sea creatures.
Flamescale's tail thumped the ground uneasily, its eyes flashing with angry fire.
"Whoosh! We have to help those sea monsters escape!" Flame Scale said excitedly. "I've personally experienced what it's like to be a slave; it's worse than death!"
“Calm down, Flamescale,” Ais interrupted him coldly. “Pfft… We can’t cause trouble for Gu Xi. This matter is of great importance; one wrong move could trigger a crisis.”
Ariel and Keima exchanged a glance, their faces showing hesitation.
Keima whispered, "Ariel and I were both bought directly by the boss and never experienced slavery... Is it really that bad?"
"Oh no?!" Flamescale lashed out with its tail, nearly hitting the octopus next to it. "You have no idea what kind of hell that is! You're whipped and tortured every day, and even getting a full meal is a luxury!"
The octopus retracted its tentacles and let out a low "chirp." (That sounds terrifying! How can they not have enough to eat!)
After all, not having enough to eat is a huge torment for an octopus like this.
After a moment's thought, Ariel suggested, "Why don't we go and find out about the sea monsters first? If it's really as bad as Flamescale said, I'm sure the boss won't stand idly by."
Ais nodded: "Plulu, that's a wise suggestion. We must proceed cautiously and not act rashly."
Flamescale snorted in dissatisfaction, but didn't object further. After reaching an agreement, they quietly made their way towards the deep-sea tribe's dwelling.
Halfway there, Yanlin suddenly stopped and looked at Ais nervously: "Pfft! Hey, what if we get discovered?"
Aisi glanced at him and said calmly, "Puluru, just say it was a spur-of-the-moment thing for you to come and see the deep-sea tribe's new friend."
"What?!" Flame Scale bristled. "Why am I always the one to take the blame?!"
“Because you’re best suited to play that reckless character,” Ais said mercilessly.
Flamescale opened her mouth to retort, but Ariel grabbed her arm and said, "Shh! We're here, keep your voice down!"
Several sea creatures held their breath and cautiously approached the deep-sea creatures' dwelling.
They witnessed a shocking scene: the sea creatures that had been brought in were not being mistreated, but were instead playing and laughing with the members of the deep-sea tribe.
Flame Scale's eyes widened in disbelief at what he was seeing: "This...how is this possible?"
Ais let out a soft "plop": "It seems we were overthinking it."
Just then, a shrill voice suddenly rang out from behind: "Hey, what are you doing sneaking around here?"
The sea creatures shuddered in fright and turned around abruptly, only to find Lingling grinning at them.
Flame Scale immediately put on a nonchalant expression: "Pfft! No...nothing! We just came to see how our new friends are doing!"
Lingling tilted her head, looking suspicious: "Really? Then why were you hiding to watch?"
