Chapter 368 Sales and Exhibition Activities (5) (1/2)

As night fell, Flamescale led a group of enthusiastic sea beasts to the empty exhibition hall.

The sea creatures looked around curiously, anticipating the upcoming activities.

Suddenly, Ais appeared in the center of the arena.

The sea creatures instinctively flinched, and a tense atmosphere filled the air.

Ais's cold gaze swept over every sea beast present, then she nodded slightly to Flame Scale.

"Pfft! Everyone, don't be nervous, we have a special event tonight!" Flame Scale said cheerfully, trying to ease the tension.

Ais stepped forward, her voice low and even, "Puru~ We recently obtained some precious sea beast remains. We hope you will accept the remains of your kin."

The sea creatures looked at each other, puzzled.

One of the bolder sea creatures asked in a low voice, "Why are you giving these to us?"

Ais's eyes suddenly sharpened: "Puru! Are you willing to see the remains of your kin being discarded at will?"

The sea creatures fell silent.

Although they are more independent than the deep-sea creatures and have less emotional connection with their own kind, they are still much closer to each other than the deep-sea creatures.

However, considering their status as slaves and their lack of right to possess anything, the sea creatures hesitated.

One of them mustered up its courage and said, "Perhaps... it would be better to leave it with you."

These words made the atmosphere on the ground even more somber, and even the night wind seemed particularly cold.

"Plop plop..." Ais slowly paced, her cold gaze sweeping over the sea beasts with their heads bowed. "Do you think you are unworthy to possess the remains of your own kind because you consider yourselves slaves?"

Flame Scale was eager to say something, but Ais raised her hand to stop her.

The air seemed to freeze; not a single sea creature dared to look directly into Ais's eyes.

"Pfft... But..." Yan Lin finally couldn't hold back and whispered, "Those are the remains of our own kind, how can we forget them?"

These words echoed in the silent night sky.

The sea creatures trembled slightly, some raising their heads, their eyes gleaming with uncertainty. They looked at each other, seemingly searching for answers in each other's eyes.

Ais stood still, motionless. He neither urged nor forced him, but simply waited quietly.

Time ticked by, and the tense atmosphere grew increasingly suffocating.

Finally, a sea monster took a shaky step forward, "If...if it were really possible..."

Its voice was choked with emotion, "I also want to take it away, but not now. Could you please keep it for us for a while?"

Ais silently put away the box containing the remains, a fleeting, unreadable emotion flashing in her eyes.

He said calmly, "Puluru~ If one day you are no longer slaves, then come find me."

After saying that, he turned and left the venue.

Some of the sea creatures looked at each other in disbelief.

Escape from slavery? How is that even possible?

Seeing the sea creatures' dejected expressions, Flamescale quickly said, "Pfft! Don't be discouraged! Let's set off fireworks!"

Just then, Octopus, Ariel, and Keima arrived at the venue pushing a cart full of food.

Some of this food was collected by the domesticated sea creatures by saving their own rations, and the other part was specially sponsored by Gu Xi after he learned about it.

"Chirp chirp!" (Come and eat!) The octopus excitedly waved its tentacles.
