Chapter 393 Dispute (2/3)

The deep-sea creatures scattered in all directions. Some were grazed by the beams of light, their bodies instantly slashed with blood; others were directly hit, screaming as they disappeared into the surging sea.

Gu Xi set up a mental defense barrier, and Ariel blew bubbles for everyone, barely managing to dodge the attack.

At this moment, huge waves surged, and the sea was in chaos.

The beam's power diminished considerably as it reached the outer edges. Fortunately, the humans had ships for protection, and the ships' defense systems activated in time, blocking most of the attack.

However, the deep-sea creatures on the periphery were not so lucky.

They dodged and weaved on the surface of the sea, looking disheveled. Many deep-sea creatures were hit and let out painful howls.

Fortunately, humans brought the deep-sea creatures aboard the ship, thus preventing them from suffering even greater losses.

"You idiots!" An elder of the deep-sea race roared in fury, pointing at those who had used fusion skills and cursing, "Look what you've done! You almost killed us all!"

The deep-sea creatures who were being insulted felt wronged, but dared not utter a word.

Upon seeing this, Gu Xi immediately ordered, "Everyone cease attacking! Do not make any rash moves!"

Flamescale swam panting to Gu Xi's side and muttered, "Pfft~ Boss Fish, what are we going to do now? That thing looks even scarier than a frozen berserk shark!"

Gu Xi frowned, staring at the constantly changing black sphere monster.

Her mind was in turmoil, but she showed no emotion on her face and could only deal with the situation calmly.

"Observe the situation first and find its weaknesses. This thing is very strange, and acting rashly will only put us at a disadvantage."

For a moment, the entire battlefield fell into an eerie silence.

All the fish watched the writhing black sphere monster warily, fearing it would attack again.

The air was thick with tension and fear, like a powder keg ready to explode at any moment.

Just then, the Lord of the Abyss slowly spoke.

"How about we, as SSS-class units, join forces for an attack?"

The Tidal Dragon immediately agreed.

"I agree. With our strength, breaking through the black ball shouldn't be a problem."

"Fine...it's boring to watch anyway."

The Netherworld Algae Beast lazily swayed its body, causing the seaweed to sway.

However, their proposal immediately drew strong opposition from some deep-sea creatures.

"No!" an elderly deep-sea creature cried out urgently. "This black sphere is strange; it can reflect skills. If the adults attack together, the power will be immense. If it's reflected back, even you yourselves might not be able to withstand it!"

Another member of the deep-sea race chimed in, "Yes, we just witnessed how terrifying it was. It would be terrible if the SSS-level adults were injured."

Upon hearing this, the Abyss Ink Lord was quite displeased with the earlier statement that it was "unbearable".

Its ink rippled across the sea, and it slowly said, "Mere reflection, nothing more. We can block it."

The Tidal Dragon remained unconvinced, saying, "You underestimate our SSS-class strength. Even if we are reflected, we can handle it."
