Chapter 417 The General Assembly (2) (2/2)

"Leave it to me." The jellyfish swayed slightly and silently merged into the seawater.

Meanwhile, in another part of the deep sea, a group of sea creatures of various shapes and sizes are secretly gathering.

Among them are the "Sword-spine Sea Dragon," a former star of the arena; the "Giant Claw Transporter Crab," used as a laborer; and some strange sea creatures with special abilities, yet treated as playthings by deep-sea nobles.

Most of them were covered in wounds, and their eyes were filled with anger and resentment.

The sea creatures, who usually prefer to be alone, are now gathered together.

Leading the pack was an exceptionally large "Raging Tide Bear Shark," blind in one eye with a grotesque scar, while its other eye gleamed with a frenzied light.

"Brothers! How much longer must we endure this dark and hopeless life of slavery?!" roared the raging shark, its voice creating shockwaves underwater.

"I can't take it anymore! Every day I'm either whipped or forced to go to dangerous places to collect resources! Those deep-sea creatures only treat us as expendable resources!" a fluorescent squid with a severed tentacle screamed.

"Those deep-sea human races want to participate in the joint conference. They seem to advocate abolishing sea beast slavery?" an older "brain trust turtle" said slowly, with a hint of caution in his eyes.

The Raging Tide Bear Shark sneered, "Humans? What makes them any better? They just want to use us! Expecting those high and mighty deep-sea creatures to have a change of heart is wishful thinking!"

It surveyed the surrounding sea creatures, its voice full of incitement.

"This joint conference is our opportunity!"

"If the negotiations go smoothly and they are truly willing to grant us freedom and dignity, that would be the best outcome!"

"But if they're just giving us the runaround, or if those humans can't be relied on either, then we'll fight for it ourselves!"

"How do we win them over?" a timid "bubble fish" asked in a trembling voice.

The raging bear shark's eyes flashed with ferocity. "Then let's turn the world upside down! Let those deep-sea creatures see the power of us sea beasts! We'll fight to the death if necessary!"

"That's right! Let's die together!"

"For freedom!"

A group of long-oppressed sea creatures were instantly enraged and roared in anger.

They harbor deep resentment towards the deep-sea creatures and have little hope for so-called "negotiations," preferring instead to change their fate in the most direct and intense way.

The strategist turtle looked at its excited companions, a hint of worry flashing in its eyes.

It understands the plight of the sea creatures, but such radical actions could drag the entire sea creature group into an abyss of no return.

Now, the long-standing oppression has driven the sea creatures to the brink of madness and impatience. They won't listen to anything you say anymore.

It tried to persuade, "Bear Shark, shouldn't we assess the situation first? This joint conference also has SSS-class sea monsters participating; if..."

"Enough, you old sea turtle!" the Raging Tide Bear Shark rudely interrupted it. "So what if they're SSS-class! The whip didn't even hit them!"

"Your caution won't save us! We only have one chance, we must seize it!"

“I’ve already contacted some sea monster slaves; they’ll be there to meet us outside the conference area. If negotiations break down, we’ll act immediately!”

Deep in the ocean, two distinct undercurrents are quietly converging around the General Assembly, brewing a storm.

However, humanity, caught in the middle, remains completely unaware. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
