“Of course not!” The Illusion Jellyfish sneered. “If we can’t do it openly, we can do it covertly. No matter how sturdy their islands are, they have weaknesses. Besides, they are newcomers and don’t know much about the deep sea. We can take advantage of that.”
"Use what?"
"Taking advantage of the complex environment of the deep sea, exploiting the greed and fear of other groups, and taking advantage of their own negligence..." The jellyfish's voice was filled with a sinister undertone. "At the conference, they said they welcomed the enemy. Well then, we'll show them what a real enemy is!"
"How exactly should it be used?" the blacktip shark pressed.
The jellyfish did not answer immediately, but remained silent for a moment, seemingly constructing an evil plan in its mind.
In the dark cave, several pairs of eyes gleamed with a dangerous light.
They want to show those arrogant humans that the deep sea is not a place where they can do whatever they want. They want to seize islands, seize technology, seize everything!
“First, we need to figure out their island's defensive layout, as well as the number and strength of their population,” the Illusion Jellyfish finally spoke, its voice low and cold.
"In addition, we need more allies. Those deep-sea races who are also dissatisfied with the deep-sea humans, or who want a share of the pie, are all potential partners for us."
"Allies?" Blackfin Shark scoffed. "Can you really rely on those fence-sitters?"
“There are no unreliable allies as long as the benefits are sufficient,” said the jellyfish. “We can promise them a share of the spoils after the deed is done, or promise to help them solve some problems. The important thing is to let them see that it is feasible and profitable to unite against the deep-sea human race.”
"So how exactly do we fight? Do we just charge in?"
“No,” the jellyfish rejected the suggestion. “That would be too foolish. Their islands appear very well-defended. We need to find the right opportunity, or a suitable entry point. Perhaps we could start with their sea monster slaves? Or infiltrate from another direction?”
"Sea beast slaves?" Blackfin Shark's eyes lit up. "Those creatures are grateful to humans, but they are sea beasts after all! Perhaps we can take advantage of some of their characteristics?"
“This is just an idea,” said the jellyfish. “More importantly, we need to make it seem like we didn’t do this alone. Ideally, we should pin the blame on another group or make the situation so chaotic that it’s impossible to trace.”
"Brilliant!" Blackfin Shark exclaimed.
"So, the next task is clear." The Phantom Jellyfish looked at the other representatives, "Send out your subordinates to secretly scout the human islands. At the same time, contact those groups that might cooperate and sound them out."
"Remember, everything must be done in secrecy, without arousing any suspicion. In particular, we must not let those SSS-level beings find out."
"Okay!" the other deep-sea representatives responded in unison.
