Suddenly, Lorraine's eyes narrowed. "They're here! They're approaching rapidly!"
Almost simultaneously, the Crimson Gaze at the core of the island emitted an eerie red light, which pierced through the shield and attracted the attention of the surrounding sea.
Sun Yiming quickly extended his mental energy and discovered that a large number of deep-sea creatures were approaching the island at an astonishing speed. The red light seemed to have attracted most of their attention.
"There are so many!" Sun Yiming exclaimed. "And they're all attracted by the red light!"
"It's a feint attack!" Gu Xi immediately deduced. "They're here!"
“They seem to be drawn into hatred by the scarlet gaze,” Lorraine added.
"What are you afraid of? Do you really think we humans are all vegetarians?!"
The underwater island's shield reacted immediately, with blue light shimmering around it. This shield was connected to the ocean's primordial energy and was exceptionally sturdy.
The first wave of attacks struck the shield with a deafening roar. Although the enemy's attacks were fierce, they posed little threat to the island's defensive capabilities.
"Something's wrong at the edge!" Lorraine's mental energy was constantly monitoring the underwater movements. "A high-speed deep-sea creature is launching an attack!"
Several small, extremely fast creatures were rushing towards the top of the island; it was the assault team led by the Iron Claw Crab.
They seemed to be trying to bypass the feinting troops attracted by the red light and find a breakthrough.
"What about the bottom? Is there anything unusual?" someone asked instinctively.
“No deep-sea creatures have been detected approaching the bottom yet…” Before Sun Yiming could finish speaking, a violent tremor suddenly came from the bottom of the island.
"No!" Lorraine's expression changed. "They have stealthy deep-sea creatures; they must be using the environment or camouflage!"
Gu Xi's eyes instantly sharpened. "It's a special forces unit! They're attacking from below!"
"You're really looking for trouble!!" Sun Yiming cursed.
A red light illuminated the entire island, shattering the tranquility of the deep sea. All the inhabitants were awakened.
Everyone immediately put the plan into action.
The soldiers rushed to their positions, defensive weapons began to operate, and the sea monsters roared angrily as they met the onrushing enemy.
The island battle broke out suddenly without any warning!
Gu Xi stood in the command center, using his mental power to sense the chaotic battle situation, his eyes cold.
"Sun Yiming, command the feint attack force's defense! Lorraine, monitor the island's structure and defense system status, and be ready to respond to surprise attacks from the bottom and top!" Gu Xi quickly issued the orders. "Flame Scale! Lead the sea beast force to engage the enemy at the bottom!"
"Yes!" the three replied in unison.
Gu Xi took a deep breath, and her mental energy surged out like a tide, quickly locking onto the enemy with high mental energy.
She could sense the movements and malice of these enemies.
"Come on..." she murmured to herself, "I'll show you the fangs of us humans!"
Around the island, shouts of battle, roars, and the roar of energy weapons mingled together, creating a fierce battle symphony.
The dark depths of the sea were stirred by this sudden battle.
Gu Xi, meanwhile, had also prepared her newly forged weapon.
Her spikes doubled in size, enough to pierce 256 deep-sea creatures.
