Chapter 72 Accidentally Entering the Misty Sea (1/2)

The sharks pulled the small boat forward at breakneck speed, with other untamed sharks following closely behind. It was a scene of the boat racing ahead and the fish chasing after it.

The sharks that were originally attacking were knocked away by Gu Xi's fish before they even knew what was happening.

The massive movement of the fish created white, shimmering waves on the sea surface. From above, it looked like a giant jellyfish approaching the ocean.

The ship's high speed brought a sea breeze. The sea breeze blew in Gu Xi's face, making her feel refreshed.

She stood in the gazebo on the third floor, looking out at the sea.

The group of ferocious wild sharks did not give up and continued to chase after the boat.

However, even though they kept following behind, they couldn't attack because they were chasing after them with all their might.

Therefore, their fierce temperament is even more prominent.

But what does all of this have to do with her?

Gu Xi came downstairs unhurriedly.

With the current number of sharks surrounding the ship, as long as the sharks are there, the chances of the wild sharks getting close to the ship are extremely slim, so she can sleep soundly without worry.

However, she still needs to eat dinner before going to bed. She had forgotten to eat while training her mental abilities.

This morning, a pheasant laid a few eggs, so she decided to make scrambled eggs with tomatoes!

Pheasant eggs come in two types: fertilized and incubatable, and unfertilized and incubatable. The eggs she collected this morning were the latter. So she had no qualms about using them to make scrambled eggs with tomatoes.

She used to have only one stove, which was inconvenient for cooking with coal. So a couple of days ago, she added another stove, and this one doesn't use coal.

She placed the Fire Essence directly into the belly of the furnace and used it as coal.

Fire Essence not only provides a continuous source of heat, but this heat source is also very even, making it especially good for cooking rice.

Gu Xi took out a pot, poured in an appropriate amount of rice, rinsed the rice, and put it on the stove of the Fire Essence to cook.

Then, she took out two tomatoes from the storage box.

These tomatoes were recently picked from the growing box and stored in the storage box to keep them fresh.

So these tomatoes are almost as good as those that have just been picked from the branch.

Naturally ripened tomatoes taste far superior to inferior tomatoes ripened with chemicals.

Just take the outer layer of skin; it can be peeled off with a gentle tear by hand.

Think about those tomatoes ripened with chemicals. Even if you peel them by hand or roast them over a fire, you'd still have to peel off a lot of the flesh.

Gu Xi peeled and diced the tomatoes, shredded the ginger, and cut the scallions into sections. She cracked several eggs into a bowl and stirred them in one direction until the yolks and whites were combined.

This was the first time she had ever eaten eggs from her own farm.

She didn't know the taste of these wild eggs, or how they differed from the eggs from those in the box.

Even though it was a raw wild egg, she couldn't smell any fishy smell. The yellow yolk was even a bit reddish, looking like a sunset. Just based on its appearance, she was full of anticipation.

Looking at the wild chicken eggs, Gu Xi suddenly remembered the look in the pheasant's eyes when she collected the eggs this morning, the look that seemed to want to tear her to pieces.

Actually, she didn't do anything special; she just used mental restraint to immobilize the pheasants while collecting their eggs.

That pheasant is so stingy. It's just a few eggs, why make such a fuss?

Besides, she'll be taking eggs many more times in the future. If they're so stingy now, what will they do later?

Or she could wait until the scrambled eggs with tomatoes were ready and then share some with the pheasant. Let the pheasant taste the tomato and egg stir-fry; maybe it would be more willing to contribute its own eggs in the future?

Lost in thought, the rice was gradually cooked.
