Chapter 95 Retrieving Star Steel, Mischievous Octopus (2/2)

"Chirp chirp!"

Upon hearing about the fish food, the octopus instantly went from being sluggish to being enthusiastic.

Seeing its dark, seemingly gleaming eyes, full of the air of labor, she knew she had successfully seduced it.

So she patted its head and said, "Go on!"

The octopus chirped twice more and then jumped happily onto the shark.

After convincing the octopus, Gu Xi went to the warehouse.

Now that she has the octopus's help, she doesn't even need to lift a finger when the sharks attack; it can take care of them all in a few moves.

Although she enjoyed not having to do anything herself, there was a slight annoyance: because the octopus had taken care of so many sharks, the sharks had dropped a huge amount of supplies.

Fortunately, after the game's trading system was improved, she was able to list items for sale herself. As long as she wasn't on the island, the trading slot didn't have to be used as a backpack, allowing her to store a large amount of resources in one slot without worrying about constantly monitoring for items to sell out and restocking.

Gu Xi put some unused shark meat, shark bones, shark teeth, and shark skin, along with other supplies, on the shelves, then returned indoors to prepare to begin cultivating her mental power.

After these few days of training, her promotion progress bar has reached halfway.

Her speed is inseparable from the help of nectar sacs and sea honey.

In two more days, when all the spiritual flowers she planted will have bloomed, her speed will be able to increase even further.

Time passed silently. After lying down for several hours, Gu Xi prepared to take a walk in the plantation. Then he began to expand the raft.

She strolled slowly toward the planting area.

But then they heard a pheasant calling out, "Cluck! Cluck cluck cluck!!"

There were occasional commotions coming from the poultry house. Gu Xi looked closely and saw several long tentacles accidentally sticking out.

Gu Xi took a deep breath and quickly ran towards the poultry house.

She ran while cursing under her breath.

I wonder what kind of trouble this octopus will cause this time. If it kills the pheasants and wild ducks, I won't just get a beating.

"Octopus! What are you doing..."

Before Gu Xi could finish yelling, she saw the octopus turn around and look at her, its tentacles still fighting the pheasant bit by bit.

The pheasant, fierce as ever, was provoked by the octopus and began to cluck loudly in anger.

Gu Xi, who was originally fierce and unrestrained, instantly turned into a dead fish eye.

Anyone with eyes can see from this scene that the octopus is teasing the pheasants into fighting.

"Chirp chirp!"

The octopus squealed happily and pointed at a few chickens with its tentacles.

The other chickens, also provoked, launched a joint attack, using their iron beaks and sharp claws to try and defeat the ungrateful fish.

However, these pheasants are worlds apart from octopuses; it's like the difference between throwing a sandbag and launching a missile. A pheasant's attack is barely enough to tickle it.

Gu Xi watched the few small animals playing happily, speechless. He casually took some spoiled fruit from the feed storage box next to him and threw it to the pheasants.

Who knew the octopus would even try to steal this? It used its tentacles to snatch the fruit and stuffed it into its own mouth.

Its actions further fueled the pheasant's hatred, causing it to pounce and attack the fish's head.

"Don't you dare bully the pheasants, understand? If you're going to play, then play properly!"

Upon receiving a stern warning from its owner, the octopus, which had originally intended to gently pat the pheasant, instantly withdrew the force of its tentacles and instead used them to encircle the pheasant, making it swing wildly in the air.

Gu Xi sighed, feeling utterly exhausted. Children are just so hard to raise!

So, stop playing around! Get her to work! (This chapter is now complete. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
