Driven by curiosity, Gu Xi began to climb the giant tree. The trunk was slippery because of its icy texture, but after sliding down twice, she gradually got used to it and could now control her strength and direction to climb upwards.
"Heave-ho!" Gu Xi pushed off with his feet and leaped onto the first thick branch.
She was about twenty meters above the ground. She looked down, then quickly looked away and focused her gaze back up.
There wasn't anything else to see here, so she decided to keep going up.
Gu Xi climbed for a while longer, and although there were still no bird nests or similar items, feathers from the Ice Crystal Bird BOSS gradually appeared. Gu Xi guessed that these were probably feathers shed during its molting.
Everything that comes from the BOSS is good stuff, and she can't waste it.
She collected the feathers one by one, and then she noticed a few silly birds lying under the tree. She looked at their feathers and the crests on their heads and found them quite interesting.
So, stimulated by the furry object, she stuck the Ice Crystal Bird BOSS's feather in her hair. She didn't do anything else, but she felt her mind clear up considerably.
She already fully understood the wonders of the Ice Crystal Bird, so she wasn't surprised that she could achieve such effects simply by sticking a feather in her head.
She kept climbing and climbing, but after a long time she still didn't see anything.
"I don't think so, do you think? Aren't birds supposed to build nests?"
Gu Xi climbed for a long time and finally reached the highest point, but unfortunately she still couldn't see the Bird's Nest after reaching the top.
Gu Xi clicked her tongue. Since she hadn't found the bird's nest, she decided to go down first. But just as she turned around, she found a large bird's face only 10 centimeters away from her.
Ah~
Don't worry, she didn't scream out loud; Gu Xi only screamed in her head. The instant she saw the bird's face, she almost screamed in fright, but thankfully she remembered she should remain calm.
She was now terrified, her back covered in cold sweat. So when did this huge bird appear behind her? She hadn't noticed at all.
Gu Xi was incredibly grateful that the Ice Crystal Bird BOSS hadn't attacked her; if it had, she would definitely be done for.
Gu Xi forced a smile and greeted the Ice Crystal Bird BOSS: "You're back so soon?"
The Ice Crystal Bird BOSS was confused and just stared at the feathers on her head.
Gu Xi followed its gaze and focused her attention in the direction it was looking, only then remembering that she had just stuck a lot of Ice Crystal Bird BOSS feathers in her hair.
She was a little uneasy, wondering what the bird was thinking.
quack!
The Ice Crystal Bird BOSS cried out twice, then tilted its head and plucked a feather from its tail, handing it over.
quack!
Gu Xi was a little confused and asked uncertainly, "For me?"
quack!
The Ice Crystal Bird BOSS nodded, looking at her with expectant eyes.
"Then I'll accept it."
Gu Xi took the feather and held it in her hand, still thinking about what to do next.
But the Ice Crystal Bird BOSS got a little anxious when she didn't move. Then it cawed twice and nudged Gu Xi's hand with its head.
With too little information and no communication, Gu Xi couldn't understand what it wanted to do.
