The Sea Ghost leader took over, saying, "Our incomparably distinguished guest, it's like this. We Sea Ghosts can record and share what our eyes see. It has just shared this guest's information with the clan..." It glanced cautiously at Ais before continuing, "...this guest's information."
Ais's compound pupils gave it a double death stare, which frightened the Sea Ghost leader so much that he also began to shed gray light.
Gu Xi frowned now. Wasn't the Sea Ghost receptionist's action tantamount to publishing someone else's photos and information online without their permission? This was a violation of their privacy!
She won't allow it!
Gu Xi composed himself and said, holding his breath, "Delete! It must be deleted!"
The gray light from the Sea Ghost race flowed even faster. "No... it won't work... it's not that we're unwilling, it's just that we simply can't erase it. Unless we erase all the memories of our Sea Ghost race."
Gu Xi glanced at Ai Si and thought to himself that this situation was not easy to handle.
Just as the challenge was about to begin, something went wrong on the challenger's side, forcing the Sea Ghost leader to plead once again.
"Honorable guest, please wait a moment while I inform the other guests that the challenge has been delayed."
Gu Xi had encountered this kind of thing several times at auctions, but she never expected it to happen to her this time.
Pausing or delaying things can be boring or interesting for other guests, but it's clear that what she's doing now isn't interesting.
"Handle it! It must be handled! Pause the challenge and deal with this before continuing!"
Gu Xi's words sounded like some kind of release mantra, and the Sea Ghost leader hurriedly floated away upon hearing them. Then everyone heard the announcement that the challenge was delayed.
Soon the leader of the sea ghost hurriedly floated back to rescue its poor, helpless subordinate.
"So, what do we do now?"
The trouble was caused by the Sea Ghost, so naturally the solution should be left to the Sea Ghost to resolve.
The person in charge of the Sea Ghost tentatively suggested, "How about... compensation?"

"Sea Ghost, what are you doing?"

The audience members were running out of patience.
Gu Xi glanced at the audience seats, a faint smile playing on his lips. "It really is an arena," he thought. "The audience isn't as patient as at an auction. Waiting a bit won't hurt."
Gu Xi urged, "We need to make a decision quickly, the guests seem to be getting impatient."
The Sea Ghost's leader's eyes darted around even faster; it was getting anxious. "1000 gold coins!"
Gu Xi was surprised and blinked at the other person.
"Do I look that poor?"
What can you do with 1000 gold coins? You can only buy some information from the Book of Greed.
"I'll give you a chance to say it again, and remember to add an extra zero at the end."
The head of the Sea Ghost was stunned and stammered, "Wh...what? 10,000?"
"Yes, that's right."
