Chapter 16 Future Creatures

Chapter 16 Future Creatures

"Hehe, are you a survivor?"

The sweet child's voice, like silk, entered my ears.

Su Tinglu mustered her courage: "Yes, that's me. Can you introduce yourself?"

The flames licked the matches in the fireplace, and the surroundings fell silent for a moment, save for the crackling sound of the burning matches.

A sticky sensation slowly crept up her neck, as if whispering in her ear.

"Sure, sister!"

Her voice was seductive: "But you have to come over. Do you see the cradle not far away? I'm inside it. Once you come over, I'll tell you who I am."

The warmth enveloped her, and Su Tinglu's gaze fell on the rocking chair, but she stopped just before she got close.

Will you hurt me?

Silence, endless silence.

"I won't, sister. I want you to come here, but I just want to ask you to help me find the princess!"

Su Tinglu did not completely believe it.

Looking around, the space was sealed off, and there was no way to find an exit.

Perhaps if we can't find the princess, we'll be trapped here for the rest of our lives!

She approached tentatively, and almost the instant her hand touched the rocking chair, the chair began to shake violently, as if in excitement.

The sweet child's voice was tinged with both tears and joy.

“I am Princess Mia’s doll, and my name is Edith.”

A delicate doll appeared on the rocking chair.

She had light golden curly hair, delicate eyebrows and eyes, wore a light blue princess dress, and had snow-white skin, looking almost like a real person.

Su Tinglu was stunned by her beauty at first glance.

Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous!

"May I know your name?"

The doll didn't speak, but Su Tinglu could clearly hear its voice.

Su Tinglu was silent for a moment before replying, "My name is Su Tinglu."

"What a nice name!"

As if some special mechanism had been triggered, the doll lying in the center of the rocking chair suddenly stood up, and behind her, a pair of wings that looked like those of an angel unfolded.

"Congratulations to player Su Tinglu for achieving the server-wide achievement, 'Angel's Wings'! Please help Edith find Princess Mia hidden in the maze. Time limit: three hours. You are the first player in server 88 of the China server to achieve this achievement. By fulfilling Edith's request, you will receive all the items in this mine!"

The cold, mechanical sound blared out.

Suddenly, a black vortex appeared before them, with angelic white wings fluttering in the sky, and Edith's golden pupils emitting a strong golden light!

"If the mission fails, you will be completely annihilated!"

The sweet voice suddenly turned shrill, and Su Tinglu watched helplessly as the black vortex rushed towards her, and then she was sucked in.

The scene before us changed once again.

"Splash—"

Su Tinglu got out of bed, rubbing her forehead.

Looking around, there was a simple tea set, half of the glass was broken, and green raindrops kept washing over the remaining half of the window.

Su Tinglu discovered that her cartoon pajamas had disappeared, replaced by an exquisite Lolita dress.

this……

Why does it look so much like her favorite dress in her wardrobe?

Without further thought, she put on her slippers, got out of bed, and opened the door.

"Boom—"

Thunder roared and lightning raged.

Dark clouds swept across the sky, and looking down, one could see green raindrops relentlessly corroding everything around them.

Isn't this an island?

I thought the maze Edith mentioned would be a maze-like passageway in my mind, but I never expected...

Could it be that, in Edith's eyes, the island is a labyrinth?

She tentatively reached out her hand, and green raindrops fell on it, causing a tingling sensation.

Acid rain?

Am I in a shelter?

After realizing what had happened, a bold guess emerged.

Is this the world after the newbie protection period ends?

How is she supposed to get out?

At this moment, Su Tinglu noticed an umbrella in a corner of the shelter.

She opened it up and went out again. The acid rain... it actually stopped the acid rain?

[The Worn Umbrella: A gift from the Shelter Building Pack. Don't let its worn appearance fool you; it's incredibly useful and can withstand extreme natural disasters for up to twenty days!]

You'll get it by building a shelter.

Su Tinglu silently made a mental note of it, then, holding her umbrella, walked straight outside.

She was stunned when she could see everything outside clearly.

A giant python, ten meters long, was coiled up not far from the entrance of the shelter, its thick, emerald-green pupils staring at her, seemingly awakened by her movements.

[Extreme Giant Python: An extreme natural disaster has occurred. Defeating it will yield many treasures. Its attack power is extremely strong. Weakness: Heart]

Su Tinglu was completely terrified.

Wow, is this really that scary?!

Moreover, the python's abdomen was enormous, clearly indicating that it had just returned from hunting.

A cold, greedy gaze swept over her, and Su Tinglu felt as if she were being harassed.

What did you eat...?

As she turned to return to the shelter, the giant python pounced on her the instant she turned her back.

The black and gray patterns intersect, resembling a gray boulder that has fallen from the sky.

Su Tinglu quickly dodged to the side.

He quickly retrieved the stone sword from his storage space and slashed at the black python.

"Clang!"

Unharmed!

While she was stunned, the giant python let out an angry hissing sound and lunged at her again.

The stone sword is useless; does that mean she's doomed to hide in the shelter?!

But this is not her sanctuary; she is just a new player who has just been recruited!

As Su Tinglu dodged, a bold guess suddenly arose in the blink of an eye!

This place might be a maze, and moreover, it could very well be a replica of a future scene!

Only by killing the giant python in front of us can we find clues to Princess Mia's whereabouts!

She really wanted to open the chat window and ask Dahe if he had started a dungeon in the mine.

However, after some experimentation, the light screen simply wouldn't open.

It seems we have to go all out!

This was the first time Su Tinglu had encountered these creatures in the survival world.

This made her suddenly realize why those players who started on islands with wild animals couldn't survive.

because……

That's incredible!

Su Tinglu was sent flying to the ground by a slap from the giant python's tail.

The metallic taste in her throat gave her a feeling of impending death.

She gripped the stone sword tightly and, once again recklessly, struck at the giant python's vital spot.

"Clang—"

Another loud bang.

The stone sword shattered into two pieces.

The giant python looked at her with disdain, drool dripping from its mouth.

The smell of blood excited it.

Seeing that the giant python was about to come over again, Su Tinglu found the umbrella in her hand troublesome and threw it away right in front of the python's shocked gaze.

The dense acid rain dripped onto her body, burning several holes in her delicate Lolita dress.

Su Tinglu didn't care at all and directly took out the fangs of the mineral bat from her storage space as weapons.

She didn't believe there was no way.

On the second day of the survival world, with resources extremely scarce, they directly challenged future creatures that were far beyond their current level.

Su Tinglu didn't want to die.

Then we'll just have to go all out!
