Chapter 26 Life Exchange
Another black orb of light attacked Luo Qing, moving so fast that no one could react in time.
Qi Ru reacted quickly, grabbing Luo Qing's wrist and pulling her sharply to the side.
Luo Qing stumbled and almost fell to the ground, but fortunately she managed to regain her footing in time.
She looked back and saw that the ground had been corroded by the Dark Spider's attack, leaving a huge crater with plumes of black smoke rising from it.
Luo Qing was startled, realizing how close he had come to disaster. In just a moment, it had corroded the ground to this state. The Dark Ghost Spider's strength was terrifying! If he hadn't been careful, he might have truly perished on the spot.
"Everyone be careful, this monster's attacks are corrosive!" Luo Qing shouted a warning.
The Dark Spider tumbled through the air, letting out angry roars. It seemed furious and resentful that its attack had missed its target, and spat out another ball of black light, hurtling towards Luo Qing and the others.
A sly glint flashed in Qi Ru's eyes. She moved swiftly, becoming a blur, and skillfully bypassed the attack range of the black light orb.
At the same time, the long sword she gripped tightly gleamed with a cold light, and she swung it out suddenly, creating a sharp gust of wind.
Luo Qing, who was close behind, was not to be outdone. She lightly leaped away from the attack of the ball of light and quickly pulled the trigger. A silver light flew towards the Ghost Spider.
The Dark Spider's attack missed again, and it seemed somewhat annoyed, its body trembling even more violently.
However, at that moment, Qi Ru and Luo Qing's attacks simultaneously struck its body.

"Everyone get ready, this time we're going to take it down in one fell swoop!" Luo Qing's voice was firm and powerful, as if infusing everyone with an invisible force.
Immediately afterward, she pulled the trigger. A bright silver light shot out from the muzzle, like a bolt of lightning piercing the darkness, striking Onigumo directly in the abdomen.

The demon spider let out a shrill scream, its body trembling violently as if struck by a heavy hammer.
Just then, Qi Ru, Fang Tai, Mo Ming, and Mu Qimeng also found their opportunity. Their weapons gleamed with a cold light, like four fierce storms, and simultaneously pierced into the abdomen of the Ghost Spider.

The demon spider's abdomen was instantly pierced, and blood gushed out, staining its body red. It let out an even more shrill scream, its eight long legs struggling helplessly, but unable to escape its grievous wounds.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Luo Qing and the others launched an even more ferocious attack. Their weapons rained down on the Ghost Spider, each blow causing it to let out a painful roar.

As the final attack landed, the level six Dark Spider finally succumbed to its weakness, collapsing to the ground, its eight long legs twitching limply.

Luo Qing and the others, panting heavily, looked at the monster that had once terrified them, and felt an indescribable sense of accomplishment welling up in their hearts.
They knew that this battle would not only be a test of their own strength, but also a test of their teamwork.
Fang Tai stepped forward and placed a foot on the Ghost Spider's body, confirming that it had lost the ability to resist. Then, he looked up at Luo Qing and the others, a smile appearing on his face.
Luo Qing slowly stepped forward, looking down at the monster that had once terrified them. A complex mix of emotions welled up within her, a blend of the joy of victory and awe for life.
She reached out and gently touched the ghost spider's shell, feeling its rough and cold texture. At that moment, she seemed to hear its breathing and feel its life slipping away.
She took a deep breath, suppressed her emotions, stepped back to her teammates, and turned to say to everyone, "Be careful. Although it can't fight back now, we still need to prevent it from having any final counterattack."
Fang Tai nodded, gripping his spear tightly, and warily surveyed his surroundings. Qi Ru and Mu Qimeng also gripped their weapons, standing beside Luo Qing, ready to respond to any unexpected situation.

Luo Qing and the others were stunned by this sudden turn of events. They looked at each other, at a loss for what to do.
This ghost spider was willing to exchange its treasure for its life, something they had never experienced before.
Mu Qimeng was the first to come to his senses. He stepped forward and carefully picked up the bundle of scrolls.
The scroll trembled slightly in his hand, as if it had a life of its own. He took a deep breath, trying to sense the power contained within the scroll.
"You want to use this to get us to let you go?" Luo Qing asked it.
Onigumo nodded with difficulty.
Luo Qing feigned distress and said, "The reward for killing a level six monster is quite generous."
As Luo Qing finished speaking, the entire battlefield seemed to fall into a brief silence. The Ghost Spider's eight eyes were fixed on Luo Qing, as if awaiting her judgment.
Luo Qing smiled slightly, a sly glint in her eyes. She slowly raised the gun in her hand, aiming it at the head of the Ghost Spider.
"However, if you can give me something else, perhaps I'll consider letting you go." Luo Qing's voice was soft and magnetic, as if it possessed some kind of magic, causing Oni Spider to involuntarily fall into her words.
The ghost spider seemed to understand Luo Qing's meaning. It began to rapidly paddle across the ground with its eight long legs, as if searching for something.
A moment later, a gem shimmering with blue light appeared beneath its body.
It carefully pushed the sapphire in front of Luo Qing with its eight long legs, its eyes showing a pleading look.
Luo Qing smiled slightly, a sly glint in her eyes. She gently shook her head, indicating that the sapphire wasn't enough to make her let the ghost spider go.
The Ghost Spider seemed to understand Luo Qing's meaning. It once again used its eight long legs to rapidly paddle across the ground, as if searching for an even more precious treasure.
