Chapter 54 Luo Qing exploded
Mu Qimeng asked Luo Qing, "Is there poison on your place?"
Luo Qing nodded. "Yes, there are, but none of them are fatal."
Qi Ru spoke softly, "I think we can try using a few different kinds of poison; perhaps it will have unexpected results."
Luo Qing looked at Mu Qimeng, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes. She hadn't expected Mu Qimeng to make such a suggestion, but upon closer thought, she felt that this method might be feasible.
She turned to look at Fang Tai and Mu Qimeng, and saw that they also nodded, indicating that they agreed with Qi Ru's idea.
So Luo Qing took out several bottles of pills from her system inventory.
The pills emitted a faint fragrance and came in various colors, resembling small works of art.
Luo Qing took a deep breath and carefully poured out several poisons mixed together.
The pill rolled in her palm, emitting a faint fragrance that contrasted sharply with the tense atmosphere in the carriage.
She gently raised her hand and fed the mixed poison to the wooden substitute.
The stand-in remained unresponsive, as if oblivious to its impending doom. Luo Qing stared intently at the stand-in's face, anticipating some kind of change.
Gradually, the stand-in's skin began to turn a faint dark purple, as if poison was spreading through her body.
Luo Qing's heart raced; she dared not relax for a moment.
Suddenly, the stand-in's body trembled violently.
Luo Qing watched nervously as the stand-in's body began to convulse violently, as if it were going through a painful struggle.
Luo Qing's heart was in her throat as she stared intently at the stand-in.
Suddenly, the stand-in's body trembled violently, and then a blackish-purple gas gushed out from her body.
The gas filled the air, carrying a nauseating stench. Everyone in the carriage covered their mouths and noses, their faces contorted in pain.
"It stinks so bad, it stinks to death."
"Ugh, it stinks! I can't stand it, I'm going to vomit."
Luo Qing didn't care about any of that. She stared intently at the stand-in, only to see her body begin to swell rapidly, growing larger and larger, as if it had turned into a giant balloon.
"Bang!"
With a loud bang, the stand-in's body finally couldn't withstand the internal pressure and exploded violently.
A powerful shockwave instantly swept through the carriage, hurling Luo Qing and the others out of the car. Fortunately, their seatbelts held them back.
The air was filled with the pungent smell of burning and blood. Luo Qing struggled to open her eyes, and the sight before her made her gasp.
The wooden stand-in that had been standing in front of her had turned into a bloody mess, with bits of flesh and blood everywhere, even splattering onto the surrounding clouds.
Luo Qing couldn't help but cover her mouth. She had never seen such a bloody scene before, and a strong sense of nausea welled up in her heart.
Qi Ru and Fang Tai also struggled to their feet, their faces showing the same expressions of shock and disgust.
Mu Qimeng's face turned pale. He couldn't help but cover his mouth and leaned against the edge of the roller coaster, where he began to vomit violently.
The sounds of vomiting echoed in the carriage, accompanied by his cries of pain. His body trembled uncontrollably, as if he were experiencing unbearable agony.
Vomit dripped onto the clouds, instantly turning the pristine white cloud into a mess.
Upon seeing this, Luo Qing and Fang Tai quickly stepped forward to check on Mu Qimeng's condition.
Qi Ru looked at Mu Qimeng's lips, her expression complex.
Finally, it stopped.
Fang Tai gently patted his back, trying to comfort him. Luo Qing took out a bottle of hot water from her system inventory and handed it to Mu Qimeng.
Mu Qimeng gave a pale smile and joked, "Does what we're doing count as throwing objects from a high-rise building?"
As he spoke, his gaze inadvertently swept over the bloody, mangled mass of flesh, a flicker of disgust crossing his eyes.
However, he quickly adjusted his emotions and tried to appear more relaxed.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew by, dispersing much of the stench of blood from the carriage. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
"Let's get going and leave this place as soon as possible." Luo Qing inserted the still-dripping energy card into the slot.
[Beep—Energy fully recharged, ready to depart.]
After a brief silence, the roller coaster started up again.
With a deafening roar, it sped away along the rainbow track like a giant dragon.
The car body shook violently, as if demonstrating its power to everyone.
Luo Qing and the others gripped the handrail tightly, afraid of being thrown off.
The wind whistled past my ears, bringing a refreshing coolness.
They looked down at the clouds below, as if they were in a fairyland. The rainbow trail shimmered with seven colors in the sunlight, like a stairway to heaven.
The roller coaster sped along the track, sometimes soaring into the sky and sometimes plunging down, bringing waves of thrills and excitement.
The screams of the crowd rose and fell, filled with excitement and tension.
Half an hour later, the roller coaster, like a giant dragon, broke through the clouds and finally brought them to the ground.
As Luo Qing and the others stepped off the roller coaster, the feeling of solid ground beneath their feet made them breathe a sigh of relief.
They looked around and found themselves back in the misty forest.
The mist still lingered, like a mysterious white ocean. The trees were lush and verdant, their branches and leaves blocking most of the sunlight, leaving only dappled shadows on the ground.
The air was filled with a damp scent, mixed with the unique freshness and vitality of the forest.
Luo Qing took a deep breath, feeling the mystery and tranquility brought by this misty forest.
Mu Qimeng sighed, "Ah, this place is still the best."
"Everyone, hurry up and pack your things, then we'll move on." Luo Qing's voice echoed through the mist, carrying a firm and unquestionable tone.
Upon hearing this, everyone sprang into action, cleaning the bloodstains off their bodies.
Soon, everyone finished packing and regrouped around Luo Qing.
Luo Qing nodded and stepped into the mist first. The others followed closely behind, embarking once again on an unknown adventure.
The sound of machinery filled my ears.
[Beep—Congratulations to the first squad of Flower Fruit Mountain for completing the second stage; the third stage is about to begin.]
Their figures gradually disappeared into the mist, leaving only the crisp sound of their footsteps echoing through the forest.
They didn't know what lay ahead, but they knew that as long as they were united, nothing could stop them from moving forward.
They continued forward, but the road ahead grew narrower and narrower, as if leading them into an unknown and hopeless situation.
The surrounding mist added to the mystery and eeriness.
The trees were densely packed with leaves, blocking most of the sunlight. Only dappled light and shadow fell on the ground, making it appear even more eerie and terrifying.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew by, and everyone couldn't help but shiver.
They looked up and saw that the originally pervasive white mist had turned into a thick black, as if it had been swallowed up by some evil force.
This change made everyone uneasy, and they huddled together, trying to find a sense of security in the darkness.
However, the surrounding darkness seemed to have the power to devour everything, making them feel increasingly oppressed.
Just then, a faint green light suddenly appeared from ahead, illuminating an area.
The group cautiously approached and discovered that the light was emanating from a hole in a tree.
A plaque hangs above the tree hole, bearing the three large characters "缠丝洞" (Chansi Cave), the calligraphy simple and ancient, exuding a mysterious aura.
“Entangling Silk Cave, I think I’ve heard of this place before.” Fang Tai scratched his head.
“Of course, we’ve all seen it. There’s no White Bone Demon in there, is there?” Mu Qimeng replied.
