Chapter 29 Battle Against the Giants

Chapter 29 Battle Against the Giants

"And there's the matter of saving other marine life. If the seal isn't broken, they'll all die within a month." A tear rolled down Qi Ru's cheek, instantly transforming into a dazzling pearl.

Qi Ru caught the pearl and immediately stuffed it into Luo Qing's hand.

"Since Haiyuan became the Merman King by relying on the seal, why did he need us to come in and break the seal?" Luo Qing unceremoniously put the pearl into her spatial storage.

"Because the seal is not strong enough now, unless he sacrifices another player," Qi Ru said angrily.

Upon hearing this, Luo Qing and the others felt a chill run down their spines.

Sacrificing players? This dark force is truly ruthless!

They quickened their pace and swam toward the heart of the ocean.

The closer they got to the core, the denser the surrounding black mist became, as if an invisible force was preventing them from advancing.

But the group did not give up; they supported each other and moved forward step by step.

Finally, they arrived in front of the core of the Heart of the Ocean.

It was a huge crystal, emitting a faint light, like a star about to go out.

Qi Ru reached out and gently touched the crystal.

Her eyes revealed deep sadness and longing.

But things are clearly not that simple.

The surrounding black mist suddenly surged up like boiling ink. Then, the mist began to condense rapidly, forming giants wielding enormous axes.

These giants were several meters tall, with bulging muscles and ferocious faces; every step they took seemed to make the entire space tremble.

The giant axes they wielded gleamed with a cold, eerie light, as if they could cleave through any obstacle.

Luo Qing and his group of five were so shocked by this scene that they were speechless. These giants were clearly controlled by the dark forces, and their target was the players in front of the Ocean Core.

Qi Ru stared intently at the giants, a resolute glint in her eyes. She knew her time was running out.

"Everyone be careful!" Qi Ru shouted in a low voice, her figure blurred, and she transformed into a streak of light, rushing towards a giant.

As Qi Ru charged toward the giant, Luo Qing reacted swiftly as well.

She gripped the silver dragon spear tightly, and her body shot towards another giant like an arrow released from a bow.

Fang Tai was not to be outdone. He swung his spear, the tip gleaming coldly, like a lightning bolt slicing through the darkness. Each swing of the spear was accompanied by a low, sharp sound of wind breaking through the air.

Mo Ming brandished his longsword, his swordsmanship fierce and ruthless. With each flash of his blade, a giant was struck and staggered. He moved swiftly among the giants, as unstoppable as a whirlwind.

Holding the dagger, Mu Qimeng's eyes were resolute, and his movements were as agile as a nimble cat. He searched for every opportunity to break through, and each attack was precise and ruthless.

They coordinated perfectly, attacking and defending, advancing and retreating, delivering a beautiful combination of punches between the giants.

Although the giants possessed immense strength, they were forced to retreat step by step under the combined attack of the five.

However, these giants seemed endless; whenever one was defeated, a new giant would emerge from the mist and continue the attack.

The five men gradually felt their strength waning, but there was no sign of them backing down.

They knew that if they didn't persevere, they would face certain death.

The five people formed a circle, trying to resist the giants' attack together. But the number of giants increased, and the gaps between them became smaller and smaller.

They were all gradually injured, and their blood stained the surrounding seawater red, but their eyes became even more determined.

Luo Qing's steps were no longer as fluid, but every movement she made was done with all her might, as if she were fighting against fate. Her face was covered in blood, but her eyes shone as brightly as stars.

Qi Ru's clothes were tattered and her body was covered in wounds, but her eyes remained as firm as ever.

Suddenly, a giant wielding a massive axe came crashing down from behind Luo Qing. Luo Qing had no time to dodge and could only take the blow head-on. The axe struck her back, the immense force sending her flying and crashing heavily onto the seabed.

Luo Qing felt as if her back was being torn apart, the pain almost making it hard for her to breathe. But she didn't give up; she struggled to her feet and charged at the giant again.

At this moment, Fang Tai was also besieged by two giants. He tried his best to resist their attacks, but gradually his strength began to wane. Seeing this, Mo Ming and Mu Qimeng immediately rushed over to help.

Luo Qing's health has dropped to 45, and the others are also almost at low health.

The giants around them seemed endless, and each attack left them feeling powerless.

However, they did not give up. They knew that as long as they did not give up, there was hope.

The group swallowed some hemostatic medicine to restore their blood volume and replenish their health.

A sudden inspiration struck Luo Qing.

No, we need to find the source of the fog.

She looked up at the black mist that surrounded her. This mist was clearly not formed naturally, but was deliberately released by someone.

If we can find the source of the fog, we might find the key to solving all of this.

Luo Qing shared her thoughts with the others, and they all agreed that they made a lot of sense.

They began searching for the source of the fog, but all around them was a vast expanse of white fog, with no end in sight.

"Master, let me go," Maiser called out from within the space.

Are you okay?

"I am a water spirit, and the black mist is also water, so it won't harm me," Maiser said confidently.

So Luo Qing released Maiser and sent him to find the source of the fog.

Maiser transformed into a streak of light and vanished swiftly into the mist. His figure appeared and disappeared in the darkness, like a brilliant star streaking across the night sky.

Within the mist, Mather sensed the surrounding atmosphere; he could clearly perceive the evil power contained within it. He carefully avoided the giants wielding massive axes, searching for the source of the mist.

Finally, within an even denser fog, Mather sensed a powerful, malevolent aura. He cautiously approached and discovered that the aura emanated from a massive black crystal.

The crystal emitted a chilling light, like a dark heart that devoured everything.

Mather could sense the evil power continuously emanating from the crystal, forming the surrounding black mist.

Without a moment's delay, Maiser immediately transmitted his voice to Luo Qing through the contract: "Master, I've found the source! It's a huge black crystal that's constantly emitting evil power. I sense it's extremely dangerous, and we must be careful."

Luo Qing's heart tightened, and she immediately replied, "You did a good job, Maiser. Don't act rashly yet. Tell us the exact location, and we'll be there right away."

Maiser quickly relayed the location information to Luo Qing, then carefully hid in the fog, waiting for their arrival.

Following Maser's guidance, the five fought fiercely against the endless waves of giants while cautiously making their way toward the source of the fog.

With each step they took, they could feel the pressure around them increasing, and the number of giants seemed to grow endlessly.

The five men moved through the fog, each step incredibly difficult. The giants' attacks grew increasingly fierce, their figures appearing and disappearing in the fog, terrifying like demons.

Mu Qimeng's dagger was already stained with blood, but he showed no sign of backing down.
