Chapter 281 Going Out and Having Fun

After the four major families left, Chen Ping walked down, picked up the compass, and examined it. Sure enough, it was the last compass from the Fallen Island at the black market auction.

Chen Ping: "Giveaways worth 500,000 spirit pearls or more, just like that, so generous."

"How do you use this?" he asked curiously, looking at the nautical chart.

Linafil: "This is an advanced nautical chart device. I heard it has charts for all sea areas, but you need to go to the corresponding sea area. However, it costs money, and there is a fee every time you change the chart."

Chen Ping scratched his head: "Could this thing have been bought from the government?"

Lu Shu: "That's right, maritime merchants. I'm sure you know about them, Island Master, right? All the goods sold by maritime merchants are provided by the survival game. Of course, you can add some personal items, but only once, on the day the merchant is selected."

Chen Ping stroked his chin: "By the way, speaking of sea merchants, does anyone from Anlula's clan become a merchant? I bought the contract scroll from her. Does that mean she'll be wandering the seas forever?"

Lu Shu: "Well, no, you can still come back, you just have to give up your identity as a sea merchant."

Chen Ping: "Oh, I see. Hmm, then why doesn't she come back? Or is her job as a seafaring merchant quite good?"

Linafil: "Um, Island Master, is it possible that we're too far away from her? You know, we were teleported directly out of the newbie zone, so she might still be there?"

"Of course, the benefits for maritime merchants are also very good. After all, they are government officials. Putting aside everything else, their safety is absolutely off the charts. Nobody dares to mess with them."

“Natural disasters will not affect them.”

Chen Ping: "Uh, I hope Anlula's mermaid merchants aren't heading this way right now. After all, we'll be entering the next checkpoint in half a month."

......

Achoo~

Achoo~~

In the vast ocean, a pitiful and helpless mermaid merchant sneezed a few times for no apparent reason. She rubbed her little nose in a daze.

"Huh? Did you catch a cold?"

"Hmm? No, could it be that someone is talking about me? Hmm, could it be that bastard clan leader Anlula talking about her?"

An Nannan murmured involuntarily.

Looking at the merchandise behind her, she couldn't help but exclaim, "Ugh, so annoying! How did they suddenly run so far away? Ugh, it's all that bastard's fault! Why did he put the contract scroll among the merchandise?!"

Now look what's happened! She doesn't know when she'll be able to get back. o(╥﹏╥)o

......

Chen Ping looked at the nautical chart in front of him and thought, "Not bad, it's similar to the navigation systems I used to use."

“Let me see, hmm, Gili Island, oh, Billy’s old island? Let’s go take a look.”

After determining the destination, the small boat under Chen Ping's feet quickly headed towards Jili Island. Driven by Chen Ping's magic power, the speed was incredibly fast.

Whoosh whoosh! ! !

Countless water droplets splashed up and then splashed back into the sea.

An hour later, Chen Ping's small boat began to slow down, indicating that he had already spotted Jili Island.

Chen Ping scanned the island with his divine sense and found that there were three towns with a fairly large population.

After shutting down his divine senses, Chen Ping controlled the small boat to slowly head towards the port.

Looking at the boats coming and going, Chen Ping smiled and said, "It's quite lively here."

It's much better than his island. Although there are many races on the island, they all prefer to stay at home, probably because he didn't build a city. However, recently, Deer Tree and Linafil have been planning to use that city blueprint.

However, we may have to wait a while. They said that some materials are still needed, since the final quality of the city map is determined by the materials used.

Chen Ping sailed smoothly into the dock. Ah, this is where the advantage of a small boat comes in – no need to queue to enter the port.

After docking, Chen Ping put the small boat into his personal space before leisurely walking inside.

"Hmm, Geely Port Town? This name... could it be that the town after this will be called Geely Town?"

Standing at the door, Chen Ping murmured curiously.

"Hey, sir, you're incredibly clever! The town in the back really is called Gilly Town."

Chen Ping looked over and saw a young man walking over.

"Hello, sir. Is this your first time here?"

Chen Ping looked at him and then nodded.

"Hey, sir, would you like a tour guide? Let me introduce myself first. My name is Xiao Jie. I grew up on Gili Island. There's no place on Gili Island that I don't know."

Chen Ping: "Xiao Jie, right? Since you dared to come up to me, I'll hire you. You'll be my tour guide until I leave."

"Come on, take me inside for a look around first, and give me a quick introduction to the local specialties and such."

Xiao Jie: "Hey! This way, sir, please."

Chen Ping nodded, and then the two of them went inside.

Led by Xiao Jie, they arrived at a street that resembled a commercial street, with stalls on both sides and a large flow of people coming and going. There were humans, dwarves, orcs, and even elves, though in relatively small numbers.

Chen Ping curiously examined the elves. They were different from Linafil and didn't resemble the ice elves like Serbes. Most importantly, there were even male elves? And, most importantly, their looks were just average, only considered pretty.

When Xiao Jie saw Chen Ping looking at the elves, he immediately asked, "Sir, are you curious about those elves?"

Chen Ping nodded: "What kind of elves are they? They don't look like elves at all."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Jie paused for a moment, thinking, "What the heck?" He had assumed Chen Ping had taken a liking to an elf, since elves are so beautiful and easy to like.

Xiao Jie: "Ah, oh, they are green elves."

Chen Ping: "Green Elf? What? Is that name for real?"

Xiao Jie: "Sir, is there a problem with the Green Elf's name?"

Chen Ping shook his head: "It's nothing. Let's not talk about Pokémon anymore. Xiao Jie, can you tell me about some local specialties, preferably food? I'm a little hungry right now and want to eat something."

Xiao Jie: "Oh, this way, sir."

Soon, Chen Ping was led to a stall by Xiao Jie.

Xiao Jie: "Boss lady! I've brought you some business!"

Chen Ping sized up the proprietress who was chatting with Xiao Jie. Hmm, she was a woman, a half-orc, with a pair of bull horns on her head, and she sold fruits and other similar items.

Xiao Jie: "Sir, the proprietress sells only specialty fruits from Gili Island, which you can't find anywhere else."

Chen Ping nodded, his gaze moving down from the cow's horns to the fruit. Hmm, it's an Ace, but I can't afford it.
