The next morning, as the morning light streamed into the cabin through the window, a pinkish, ambiguous atmosphere still lingered in the room, as if the passion of the previous night had not yet dissipated. The faint creaking of the bed echoed throughout the night without ceasing.
By noon, the sun was shining brightly, its rays bathing the deck. The door to the room creaked open, and a beautiful woman in a long, black, flowing dress stepped out—Gabrielle. Her face was rosy, her skin like jade, and her snow-white neck was adorned with fresh hickeys. Her eyes sparkled with happiness and reminiscence.
Inside the room, Chen Ping sat on the edge of the bed, a blank expression on his face, clearly still reeling from the passion of the previous night. His eyes were wide, his hands gripping the sheets, his mind repeatedly replaying what had just happened—had he really been "devoured" by that fallen angel-like Gabriel?
