Chapter 697 The final stage is approaching!

After receiving the reward, Chen Ping and Ying Huo left the Ice and Snow Castle. They hadn't gone far when a broadcast suddenly came from the sky.

[Broadcast: Important information! Important information! The Snowfield Event Boss has completed its mission, and the Ice Queen will leave in three seconds!]

The announcement was made three times.

Chen Ping and Ying Huo turned around in confusion, and sure enough, the ice crystal castle was slowly dissipating.

Ying Huo: "That's it? Ha! Will those challengers blame us for taking away the Ice Queen? Well, thankfully our names didn't appear on the broadcast."

"Otherwise, the two of us would definitely be killed by the challengers in the canyon."

Chen Ping tapped her little head and laughed, "Alright, stop thinking about this and that here. Why don't you leave sooner? After all, there must be other people who took over the Ice Queen's mission, right? If they come over and find us here, they'll definitely know that we completed the mission and caused the Ice Queen to leave."

Upon hearing this, Ying Huo immediately nodded quickly, then grabbed Chen Ping's hand and started running.

The two quickly ran out of the passage. A few minutes later, sure enough, many team challengers rushed in, then saw an empty spot and were immediately furious.

Their timely departure left the challengers bewildered, their expressions a mixture of anger, disbelief, and shock. The broadcast resumed at just the right moment, bringing even more explosive news:

[Urgent Notice: All event bosses have completed their missions and left the arena! The Death Arena has entered its final stage; remaining challengers, prepare for the final battle!]

The broadcasts blared, shaking every corner, and the challengers, while shocked, surged forward. Chen Ping and Ying Huo exchanged glances, knowing that this turn of events meant the Death Arena was entering a fever pitch, and the competition would become even more intense.

[The hidden area event bosses have been cleared, all boss quests are complete, and the Death Arena is now open for the final battle. Challengers, seize the opportunity; your destiny is in your own hands!]

The broadcast, like a war drum, roused every heart. Chen Ping and Ying Huo knew that from this moment on, every challenger must give their all to strive for final victory. They needed to be cautious and plan how to utilize their existing advantages to meet the unknown challenges.

[Event ended, BOSS Treasure Vault is now open, all challengers have a chance, please go quickly!] The last sentence of the broadcast brought new hope to the challengers.

"Chen Ping, what... what does this mean?" Ying Huo asked anxiously, clearly not expecting this development.

Chen Ping pondered and calmly analyzed: "It seems that the Death Arena has accelerated its progress. The disappearance of all area bosses means that we will no longer have boss challenges and will directly fight other challengers. This is the final stage of the arena."

"As for this BOSS treasure vault, it's somewhat beyond my expectations. However, it's foreseeable that a battle outside the vault is inevitable. It'll probably be a chaotic free-for-all, and a bunch of challengers will likely be eliminated before the final trial arrives."

......

Just then, an indicator appeared in front of them.

Chen Ping and Ying Huo exchanged a glance, then decided to follow the signs. Guided by the signs, they traversed the icy valley, encountering many challengers along the way, each seemingly following their own signs and heading in different directions.

The challengers exchanged glances, some wary, some puzzled; clearly, the sudden change in the indicator system had caught them off guard.

As Chen Ping walked and observed, he whispered to Ying Huo, "It seems that the arrangement of this Death Arena is to make the challengers kill each other, reduce their numbers, and disperse them according to the target, so as to reduce the resistance in the final battle. We must be careful not to get caught up in unnecessary fighting."

Ying Huo nodded, gripped Chen Ping's hand even tighter, and the two quickened their pace.

As the indicators closed in, the density of challengers increased, making the atmosphere even more tense. Chen Ping noticed that many challengers were well-equipped, clearly having undergone numerous trials and tribulations, acquiring a considerable amount of equipment, materials, and special items; they seemed to be quite formidable.

"It seems that the challengers who remain are all formidable opponents. We need to be more cautious," Chen Ping reminded Ying Huo, glancing around as the two adjusted their tactics in unison, preparing for any eventuality.

The marker finally stopped at a vast ice valley, with an ice cave in front of it. A large sign hung at the entrance, engraved with the four words "BOSS Treasure Vault," gleaming in gold and attracting the attention of all the challengers.

"We've arrived," Chen Ping said to Ying Huo. Looking around, the challengers had already gathered, and the atmosphere was tense. Clearly, the allure of the treasure vault was irresistible. Chen Ping and Ying Huo found a secluded corner and waited quietly, observing the situation. They knew that acting rashly at this moment could lead to a chaotic battle.

The challengers began to try to enter, but a light screen unexpectedly appeared at the entrance, displaying the rules: "Entry requires verification; each person must carry an item from the event BOSS quest or proof."

Now, the challengers looked at each other, some regretting that they hadn't expected to have to prove themselves.

Chen Ping and Ying Huo exchanged bewildered glances. No wonder the Ice Queen had returned the Ice Heart Lotus and the riddle to them when they left her treasury. They took out the Ice Heart Lotus and the riddle from the Ice Queen and headed towards the cave entrance. After the light screen scanned and recognized them, it disappeared, allowing the two to enter.

The treasure vault was overflowing with treasures: divine weapons, elixirs, ancient books, and materials. Chen Ping and Ying Huo were cautious; they knew that while the vault was tempting, danger lurked within, and those who challenged it, driven by greed, were even more perilous than the treasure itself.

Chen Ping said softly, "Let's take what we need quickly and not be greedy. The treasure vault could turn on us at any time. The challengers are outside, so we need to evacuate." The two quickly picked out the treasures while keeping a close eye on the cave entrance to prevent any unexpected situations.

Chen Ping and Ying Huo split up to search for treasure separately. Chen Ping preferred the ancient books section, while Ying Huo went to the weapons rack. They knew that this place was definitely a dangerous place, with undercurrents between challengers and the possibility of battle at any time, so they needed to be on guard at all times.

"Whoosh! Chen Ping, look! I've found this!" Ying Huo exclaimed, holding an ice spear that gleamed with light, a satisfied smile on her face.

Chen Ping was holding an ancient book, a special book on alchemy, which he was quite satisfied with.

Outside the treasure vault, a chaotic battle has broken out among the challengers. Greed has sparked disputes, and the challengers are gradually being eliminated.

When Chen Ping and Ying Huo arrived at the entrance to the BOSS's treasure vault, they found that a battle had already broken out outside, and the place was in extreme chaos.

Ying Huo said in a daze, "Hiss! Chen Ping, they've started fighting! What do we do? It seems like we can't get out. There's nothing to cover us."

Upon hearing this, Chen Ping laughed and said, "Watch me." Then he pulled out a large red cloak. "This is an invisibility cloak, God-King level quality. It's perfect for this kind of situation."
