The next day, as dawn broke and the sky turned a pale white, Ying Huo got out of bed.
Last night's tears and emotions seemed to have faded into a dream, leaving only faint traces. She washed up, forced a smile in front of the mirror, as if telling herself that it was a new day, a new beginning.
She decided that she wouldn't give up on her feelings for Chen Ping, but she also wouldn't recklessly push her luck. Now that Chen Ping's attitude indicated that their relationship was limited to friendship, she chose to take a step back and approach the matter from a different angle.

Upon hearing this, Ying Huo paused for a moment. Oh right, her sister hadn't gone home all night. So she was here. This was not unexpected.
