Chapter 781 Old Friends Meet Again!

Hmm? Chen Ping suddenly realized that the island in front of him had a strange sense of familiarity. And why were the three islands completely different in style?

And then there was that island at the very front. Chen Ping couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, "This... this is a sea turtle, isn't it? Turtle Island? Hmm, why does it feel so familiar?"

Soon, Chen Ping arrived above one of the islands, and as soon as he stopped, the island below began to issue warnings.

[WARNING! This is private property, please stop here!]

The loud warning sound immediately woke up the people on the island. In an instant, the once bustling town was deserted as everyone hid and fled.

Looking at Chen Ping, he was speechless. Come on, he wasn't a bad person. He just wanted to ask for directions. Was it really necessary?

At this moment, several figures flew up from the island, accompanied by a voice.

"Sir, may I ask what brings you here?"

As soon as the voice fell, the group stopped in front of Chen Ping and looked at him warily.

Chen Ping looked at the person in front with a blank expression, and then said with some surprise.

"Holy crap! Chen Dali!"

Huh? Hearing the other person call out his name, Chen Dali was somewhat surprised. They knew him? Could it be someone he knew? Was it an enemy or an acquaintance?

Chen Dali began to scrutinize Chen Ping. Hmm, the more he looked, the more familiar he seemed. Chen Dali immediately started to recall.

At this moment, several figures flew out from the other two islands.

Chen Ping looked around and, wow, they were all familiar faces.

Chen Ping couldn't help but laugh and said, "Wen Xin! Chen Dali, Jack, Anna! Hahaha, long time no see! I didn't expect you guys to be all together now."

Upon hearing their names, everyone exchanged bewildered glances. A familiar face?

Wen Xin was the first to react, exclaiming in disbelief, "Chen Ping!"

"What? Boss Chen Ping!" Chen Dali exclaimed in surprise!

"Is it really you?! Chen Ping!" Jack exclaimed incredulously. He flew closer quickly, looking Chen Ping up and down as if searching for a familiar figure in his memory.

Anna smiled with delight and said softly, "It's been a long time, Chen Ping. What a pleasant surprise."

Chen Ping laughed heartily, looking around at his friends, a warm feeling welling up in his heart. He never expected that after so many years, they would meet again like this; it felt like fate had arranged it.

"How did you all meet, and how did you end up here?" Chen Ping asked curiously, his gaze darting back and forth between the three islands, each with its own distinct style.

Upon hearing this, Wen Xin said somewhat helplessly, "It's a long story. We only met when we were heading to the Holy Sea. After that, we just started acting together so we could look out for each other."

Chen Dali took over and said, "That's right, that's exactly how it is. Over the years, we've encountered quite a few crises. Luckily, we partnered up, otherwise, we might not have been able to get through them."

Anna: "Okay, let's go down and talk. What's it like up in the air?"

Chen Dali: "Haha, right, come on, let's go to my place. I was just preparing a barbecue over there. Let's eat and chat."

The group chatted as they landed on the island where Chen Dali was. The air was filled with the enticing aroma of roasted meat, which put them in a great mood.

The island's environment is uniquely and warmly decorated, with all kinds of facilities. It is clear that Chen Dali and his group have established their own little world here.

Chen Ping followed the group through a path decorated with tropical plants to a wide-open beach. The afterglow of the setting sun shone on the fine sand, making it glitter, and the waves gently lapped against the shore, making a pleasant sound.

Grills have been set up on the beach, and all sorts of ingredients are sizzling and making mouths water.

"Come on, everyone must be hungry, let's fill our stomachs first," Chen Dali greeted warmly, skillfully flipping the food on the grill, which emitted a fragrant aroma.

The group sat on the beach, enjoying the food and chatting about their experiences over the years. Chen Ping shared his explorations and adventures in the core sea area, as well as his purpose in coming to find the Abyss Artifact.

Wen Xin, Chen Dali, Jack, and Anna also took turns telling their stories. From their accidental reunion to their decision to live together in this sea, they experienced various challenges and gained deep friendship and extraordinary experiences.

“Speaking of abyssal artifacts, I do know a place.” Jack put down his skewers and said seriously, “When I was studying ancient marine texts, I discovered some clues about high-level abyssal artifacts. They are likely hidden in some undiscovered ruins in the nearby sea.”

"Really?!" Chen Ping's eyes lit up; this was exactly the information he desperately needed.

"However, it's said that powerful abyssal creatures guard that place, making it extremely dangerous," Anna warned, her expression slightly grave.

"It's okay, I'm super strong now, there's nothing I can't solve," Chen Ping said confidently with a smile.

As night fell, a campfire was lit, the starry sky shone brightly, and the five friends sat around the fire, not only reliving old times but also planning new adventures together.

They decided to set off tomorrow to find the Abyss Artifact, not only to fulfill Chen Ping's mission, but also to further test and prove their friendship.

Under the starry sky, the joy of this long-awaited reunion intertwined with the adventure that was about to unfold, making this night especially unforgettable.

Chen Ping felt a surge of gratitude. He knew that no matter what the future held, this experience and this friendship would be a precious memory for him.

As night deepened and a gentle sea breeze blew, the sounds of conversation and laughter mingled together, adding a touch of life to the tranquil island night. Chen Ping looked around, a surge of indescribable emotion welling up inside him.

Over the years, they have each been on different paths, but they were able to reunite by such a coincidence and face new challenges together. He cherishes this kind of fate.

"Speaking of which, it really is fate that we were able to reunite here," Chen Ping sighed, his eyes sparkling with anticipation for the future.

"Yes, and it can even help you. It feels like it's fate." Wen Xin echoed, her smile warm and firm, as if telling Chen Ping that no matter what the future held, she would stand by his side.

Chen Dali patted his chest with a hearty expression: "That's right, how can we not help when our brother is in trouble? We'll set off tomorrow to find that Abyss Artifact. Chen Ping, just tell us what you need us to do."

Jack took out a parchment scroll and carefully studied the map and notes by the firelight: "I have found several possible coordinates in the data. Tomorrow morning, we will explore according to these clues."

Anna thoughtfully refilled everyone's drinks and said gently, "Don't forget to rest. Sufficient preparation and a good state of mind are the keys to success. Get a good rest tonight, and we'll set off tomorrow full of energy."

In the darkness of night, the shadows of five people stretched long around the campfire on the island.
