Chapter 829 A Corrupted Paradise!

When Chen Ping and his group stepped out of the teleportation portal, the scene that greeted them made them gasp in shock.

The world before them was completely different from the dazzling, sacred, and inviolable paradise they had imagined.

Here, the once sacred land is now tightly bound by the tentacles of indescribable things. The once bright sky is now shrouded in a dark red, and the clouds seem to be stained with blood, losing their former pure whiteness.

The earth was no longer crystal clear marble, but was covered by a strange flesh and blood. Tentacle-like creatures would occasionally wriggle out from under the ground, making a creepy, sticky sound.

Angelica covered her mouth in disbelief, whispering, "This...this can't be...When we came last time, Heaven seemed lonely, but at least it was still Heaven. How did it become like this?"

Her voice was filled with shock and sorrow; what was once a sacred place had now become a breeding ground for indescribable things.

Lucifer frowned, surveying the strange changes around him, his eyes revealing deep worry: "It seems that the indescribable nature of the Lord of Heaven is far more serious than we imagined."

The speed and extent of this pollution have probably exceeded our predictions.

We must be even more careful; every step here could conceal a deadly danger.

Chen Ping took a deep breath, trying to calm the shock in his heart. He commanded in a deep voice, "We have no time to be shocked. We must find the location of the Lord of Heaven immediately. Gabriel, can you sense His location?"

Gabriel closed her eyes and focused her mind on sensing the fluctuations around her.

After a while, she opened her eyes, her expression solemn: "I can feel strong energy fluctuations, but the source is not in that palace, but over at the Pool of the Early Angels."

In that case, the route won't be direct; we'll need to cross this forest of flesh and blood, where the environment will be even harsher.

"Then we have no choice but to force our way in." Chen Ping gripped his weapon tightly, his gaze resolute.

The group exchanged glances, needing no further words, all understanding the arduousness and danger of this journey.

They began to carefully traverse the "forest" of flesh and blood, choosing each step cautiously to avoid touching those seemingly still but actually malevolent tentacles.

The air was thick with the smell of decay and death, making people feel depressed.

Led by Gabriel, the group traversed natural barriers made of flesh and blood. These barriers seemed to writhe like living things, with tentacles occasionally reaching out from the walls in an attempt to block their path.

Whenever the road ahead was blocked by these eerie walls of flesh and blood, the team had to detour, and this arduous journey put everyone's patience and will to the test.

Even Gabriel, who knew every inch of Paradise like the back of her hand, couldn't help but feel bewildered in the face of such earth-shattering changes.

Relying on her perception of the faint yet familiar aura of the Lord of Heaven, she led the group step by step closer to the Pool of Angels.

Along the way, they passed by once-glorious palaces, now entangled by tentacles and transformed into nests that breed unspeakable things.

Having crossed the once glorious crystal bridge, its surface is now cracked, revealing a churning, blood-red abyss beneath.

“This place was once where hymns echoed and angels of light soared…” Angelica murmured, her eyes filled with pity and sorrow.

Her fingers lightly traced a relatively intact marble pillar, but what her fingertips touched was strange, icy flesh, causing her to abruptly pull her hand back as if burned.

Lucifer followed closely behind, his black wings appearing even more somber against the crimson sky. He frequently scanned his surroundings, wary of any potential threats. "We don't have much time; we must speed up."

His voice was low and resolute, revealing a sense of urgency about the current situation.

In such a twisted and treacherous environment, every breath felt like a dance with fear and despair. Yet, even so, they pressed on.

Finally, they arrived at the edge of the Pool of Angels.

This place was once the purest place in paradise, but now the pool is stained dark red, with twisted creatures floating in it, and a huge, indescribable object slowly rotating in the center, exuding a suffocating evil aura.

Gabriel solemnly pointed out: "The Lord of Heaven should be deep within this pool, inside that indescribable thing that keeps writhing!"

Everyone stared at the indescribable thing in the pool. It looked a bit like an egg or something similar.

......

The group gathered together, their faces grave, exchanging opinions in hushed tones.

Chen Ping spoke first, his voice calm and firm: "If we act now, we might interrupt the Lord of Heaven's transformation. This is our only chance."

Moreover, the risk is low; if we successfully defeat them, we might directly face an enraged Heavenly Lord whose power has not fully recovered.

Angelica frowned and said worriedly, "But how can we be sure that doing this will really weaken His power? What if it backfires and accelerates His transformation?"

Lucifer's black wings fluttered gently, and after a moment of contemplation, he said, "Angelica's concerns are unfounded, but this is the best option we can think of right now."

Taking action might bring Him forth sooner, but if we don't, He will be completely transformed. Therefore, I support Chen Ping in taking direct action!

Gabriel nodded in agreement: "I agree. Our strength is no weaker than the Lord of Heaven. After all, it's four against one. No matter how you look at it, the advantage is on our side. On the contrary, if He really becomes completely indescribable, then the outcome is uncertain."

After a brief but tense discussion, the group reached a consensus and decided to take action. They prepared themselves, adjusted their equipment, confirmed the determination in their eyes, and then slowly approached the pool that exuded an evil aura.

Just then, the enormous, indescribable egg seemed to sense their intentions. The pool water suddenly surged, no longer a simple liquid, but transformed into tentacles and twisted shapes, attacking the group.

These polluted pools of water are not only highly corrosive, but also carry an invisible mental pressure, whispering in everyone's hearts, trying to erode their will.

"Watch out! Don't let the water touch you!" Chen Ping shouted, slashing his sword to cut off several tentacles that were lunging at him. The blade hissed as it touched the tentacles, demonstrating their strong corrosive power.

Everyone used their defensive techniques and quickly brought the water that was rushing towards them back down, while the tentacles that came with the water were all cut off.

The corrosive liquid spilled onto the indescribable flesh and blood floor, instantly corroding a large pit.

Utterly vicious!
