Romance
The road back to the west wing passes through the main house where my grandparents live.
When passing through the foyer, Ye Yuanyin looked up and first saw the century-old plaque with the large characters "Empty Mountains and Quiet Waters" hanging above the desk. Then, looking down, he saw the stone statue of Bodhisattva placed in the middle, with his left hand in the fearlessness mudra and his right hand in the granting mudra, with lowered eyebrows and kind eyes, as if he could lead all sentient beings to paradise.
She stayed there for a while and watched.
"Sister-in-law," Shen Pei'an from my second uncle's family came out and said, "Grandma is calling you."
When I entered the room, there was a person sitting on the couch. Grandma personally poured a cup of tea for the person, with a relaxed look on her face, and asked about his well-being.
It’s Zhang Siling.
"Sister-in-law is here."
Zhang Siling stood up to greet her, her face blooming like a fiery red rose, bright and gorgeous, full of enthusiasm. "Oh, Xiaoye, it's been more than half a year since we last met, right? That's right, I shouldn't call you Xiaoye anymore, I should call you Mrs. Chen."
"Sister, let's just call you Xiaoye."
Zhang Yunrong reached out her hand to Ye Yuanyin, took a few quick steps, and sat down next to her grandmother. Zhang Siling returned to the seat opposite.
Grandma asked, "Are you leaving again this time?"
"Of course I have to go!" Zhang Siling said quickly, "I'm used to being laid-back. Coming home and hearing my mom nagging makes me feel uncomfortable. We're like enemies. I'm fed up with it. I have to leave!"
By then, both Auntie and Shen Meiyue had returned. Shen Lianxing glanced at Ye Yuanyin, fearing chaos, and said, "If it were you, you could just stay here. We're not strangers. When you were little, you and our eldest brother were so close that you couldn't be separated. Didn't you always stay here for a while during the winter and summer vacations? You know each other very well, and your mother would be relieved." She turned around and asked expectantly, "Mom, what do you think of my suggestion?"
The old lady lowered her brows, took a sip of tea, and said leisurely, "Of course it's good."
My aunt's expression was charming and lively, and she was so happy that she kept shouting, "It's settled."
Shen Meiyue glanced at the assorted fruit plate on the table beside her, picked up a piece of diced watermelon, and stuffed it into her mouth with a wicked grin, as if she was watching a show.
Zhang Siling was a casual person, and he had recently encountered some troubles. He thought that even if he could hide for a day, it would be good, so he said frankly: "Grandma, then I will be here for a few days."
"Don't be so shy. It's no trouble at all."
Shen Lianxing smiled as if he had succeeded, and asked again: "You came here, have you met our boss?"
Grandma gave her a warning glare, "Lian Xing, why are you talking so much today?"
Shen Lianxing curled his lips and then restrained himself a little.
"Aunt," Zhang Siling complained about Chen Jing'an as frankly as before, "How could that workaholic have time to think about me? I'll wait until the young master is done with his work, then I'll wait for him to summon me."
Everyone in the room was amused by this lively and full-bodied person. The old lady said, "His grandfather does have some things to explain. Once he has explained everything, you will see him later."
"That's great," Zhang Siling said. He was a bold and straightforward person. Because he had been spoiled since childhood, he never cared about other people's opinions or feelings. He always said whatever he thought. "I just want to see if he has become more handsome and graceful? This way I won't regret it for a few days."
Shen Pei'an from his second uncle's family stuck his head out and glanced at Ye Yuanyin cautiously, thinking that his sister-in-law was so pitiful. It was obviously her husband who was being discussed, but she was treated like an outsider and could not fit into this circle at all.

We had dinner in grandma's room.
Zhang Yunrong felt uneasy when Chen Di'an hadn't shown up. Her life had been tough, and she had accompanied her husband through countless hardships to build this small fortune. Her son from her previous marriage died early, and she wasn't on her husband's side, so she had long since given up on the idea. Unfortunately, the fourth child wasn't up to the task, and Chen Pei'an wasn't cut out for business. Otherwise, Chen Di'an, who always wanted to stay out of the spotlight, would never have gotten the chance to take over the family business.
When you are in the ups and downs of the business world, it is already difficult to avoid the open attacks from outside, so you just hope that there will be no more hidden attacks from within. If disputes arise from within, you really can't blame anyone else.
Everyone at the table was preoccupied with their own concerns, except Zhang Siling, who was genuinely happy and chatted with the old lady.
Shen Meiyue winked at Ye Yuanyin, then stood up and walked a few steps outside with him. The sister-in-law looked at her and said, "Sister-in-law, are you unhappy?"
Ye Yuanyin asked in return: "Why me?"
"Zhang Siling is here! She dumped my eldest brother because she wanted to marry another man. Now her relationship with her husband is bad, and she wants to go back to him. How annoying! I'm so angry for you!"
Ye Yuanyin recalled the conversation she had with her aunt in the garden. She clearly didn't think highly of him, so why did she act so two-faced and try to curry favor with him? The key point was that there was no profit to be made.
"What's there to be angry about?" Ye Yuanyin was forced to learn to be submissive. "If you feel you chose the wrong person, of course you'll regret it and remember the good things about your ex. It's human nature."
"Huh?" Shen Meiyue looked at her in surprise, and said in disbelief, "How could such words come out of your mouth?"
"Why not?" Ye Yuanyin smiled nonchalantly and said, "Didn't you advise me to be more realistic? I just don't know if your eldest brother still likes her. What do you think?"
...Shen Meiyue was really shocked. She thought to herself, this stubborn man, who had advised her to find a way out for himself a few days ago and remained loyal to her, how could he have changed so completely in just a few days?
The only fun of controlling her is gone, it's so boring.
"This really stumps me. How can I know about what's going on between you and your wife? If you're really confused, why not just ask my elder brother?" Shen Meiyue smiled mockingly, and the umbrella-shaped hem of her skirt blossomed into a flower, and she turned and left.
Ye Yuanyin turned around and met Zhang Siling's eyes, which were filled with scrutiny and inquiry.
She didn't avoid it.
Zhang Siling, however, was able to keep his composure. He curved his eyes and smiled proudly at her, then went on to please the old lady as if nothing had happened.

Chen Dian came back around nine o'clock in the evening.
The windows of the west wing have been repaired, but the weather is getting warmer, and the temperature in the room rises once the windows are closed.
Ye Yuanyin had just closed the window, and the wind blew, and it felt like something got into her eyes. She rubbed and rubbed, tears streaming down her face, but she couldn't get it out.
The cell phone was placed on the table, and she turned on the speaker. It was Maha calling.
After discussing the progress of work, Maha was about to start his Heart Sutra practice. He casually said, "If you have time, you can recite it once a day. All good thoughts will be rewarded."
"knew."
After she hung up the phone, she suddenly heard someone ask her, "Are you close to Zhang Chang?"
Ye Yuanyin suddenly stood up from the stool, leaned her waist on the table, turned around, looked up and saw him, tears fell.
Chen Yan saw that one of her eyes was bloodshot, and her fair face was full of vigilance and uneasiness. It had only been a few days, and they had just gotten closer, but now they had become strangers again.
He didn't move, just looked at her and asked coldly, "What's wrong with your eyes?"
Ye Yuanyin thought, he was so worried that he came to see him the day before yesterday, but he made him angry and left because of the knot in his heart that he couldn't get over. Such a proud person must be discouraged and it is inevitable that he will lose his temper.
She was feeling guilty, so she didn't dare to provoke him any more. Judging from his tone, he seemed to be still angry, so she said softly, "I don't know what got into my eye. It hurts so much."
Chen Yan ignored her and went straight into the inner room. Ye Yuanyin was unwilling to give up, biting his lip and saying, "I'm not close to Zhang Chang, nor to You Jing, and even less so to Fourth Uncle."
This belated explanation was more like a confession. This was the second time she had said without reservation that he was the only one in her heart. Chen Yan'an's heart seemed to sink. Seeing her covering half her face, her eye on the other side almost red, she looked so pitiful. He sat down on the bed and beckoned, "Come here, let me see."
Ye Yuanyin's five fingers were tightly gripping the table, but after hearing his words, he let go and walked over.
She stood between his open legs. He sat quietly, forcing him to crane his neck to look at her, and said, "Lower your head."
Ye Yuanyin obediently bent over and moved his face closer to him.
An Subai's slender fingers touched her eye sockets, lowered his eyes and took a closer look, wondering, "How did the eyelashes go there?"
"Where?"
"Tear glands."
He pinched her nose bridge hard with his hand. Ye Yuanyin felt her eyes and nose were sore. She couldn't help but sneeze twice, and tears began to well up in her eyes again.
With this tearing, the stinging foreign body sensation in my eyes was much relieved.
The sound of gold and jade clashing rang out again, and Chen Yan said, "Come here and let me see it again."
She obediently came closer, her face slightly raised, her round, glass-bead-like eyes looking upwards. Yan Chen carefully examined her and found the thin culprit at the junction of her eye socket and cheek.
He plucked her eyelashes with his thumb and index finger, then looked at her expression. She looked just as cute and adorable as the round-haired Spring Equinox that Aunt Long raised. He felt a pang of regret and said, "Okay."
Ye Yuanyin stepped back a little, and when she stood up straight, she could no longer see his face. She leaned forward again, lowered her head, and tilted her face to see his expression. She asked cautiously, "Are you still angry?"
Chen Yan'an fixed his deep, indifferent eyes on her magnified, soft features. His Adam's apple moved slightly, and he spoke slowly, "What should I do if I'm angry? What should I do if I'm not angry?"
"That means she's still angry." She came to a conclusion and leaned closer. Her voice was as soft as a stream. "Can I kiss you?"
After saying that, without waiting for the other person to answer, she lightly touched his lips, making a "bo" sound.
Sediment raised an eyebrow, thinking, this person always picks things up high and then puts them down lightly, how can I extinguish the fire in my heart? He stared at her closely, but didn't say anything.
Ye Yuanyin thought that he was still not satisfied, so he said softly, "How about... another kiss?"
She leaned in again, this time knowing to open her mouth. Out of shyness, she tasted briefly before moving away. Sediment'an cupped the tender, smooth skin behind her ears with both hands, his tongue darting in, pulverizing it, then lingering, until even the moonlight outside seemed shrunken and hazy.
Ye Yuanyin frowned.
Because her waist was always bent and she lowered her head, her hair would always fall into her eyes and face. Sediment An felt that it was a hindrance, so he put his arm around her waist and took her to lie on the bed.
The bed was a Zhang Ming-style huanghuali frame bed, covered with three layers of thick curtains, but the curtains were not drawn at the moment, so the movements of the two people on the bed were clearly visible.
Ye Yuanyin lay flat on her back, meeting the man's eyes, as dark as the sea. He was always so reserved and at ease, as if everything in the world was under control, including this relationship. He watched her sinking into despair, enjoying her love for him, but he refused to condescend in the slightest.
The man's clothes were ruffled, but he still looked well-dressed. Ye Yuanyin felt very shy and blocked his rebellious hands, with a little moisture in the corners of his eyes.
"I...wait a minute..."
She buried her face in his neck like an ostrich, and the soft touch of her hair, skin, and breathing corroded his fragile nerves like sulfuric acid. Shen Yanqiang held on to the bed, and the blue veins on the back of his hand were clearly visible.
"Waiting for what?"
She was still hiding, her back arched like a shrimp, her slender white fingers pressing down on his muscular arms.
"Don't do that."
There was a knock on the window frame outside, and the light inside was dim. Zhang Siling's upper body cast a slender shadow on the window, and in the eyes of the people in the room, she was waiting for him in the west wing under the moon.
Ye Yuanyin's eyelids twitched in fear, and she reached out to push the man away. Chen Yan'an knew he didn't want to do it yet, but he kept provoking her. With a rage in his heart, he grabbed her waist. Ye Yuanyin struggled, but didn't dare make any noise.
During the tug of war, the two of them moved from the original position of the pillow to the middle of the bed. Her head was facing outwards, half of her hair was pressed down by her body, and the remaining half was about to fall along the edge of the bed. As her body twisted, her hair swayed slightly.
Dian Jing held her hands with both hands and held her kicking legs with his knees.
Because of the huge difference in body size between men and women, she was like a fixed butterfly specimen, unable to do anything but be killed on the spot.
Sediment leaned over and captured her lips.
The window frame outside was knocked again. Zhang Siling asked dissatisfiedly: "Hey, are you there or not? I have to go in."
Ye Yuanyin had her back to the door, so even the slightest sound that reached her ears was like the clanging of a huge bell. She didn't want anyone to see her like this, and her body couldn't help but tense up.
At this moment, a strong heat came from her mouth, and her mind seemed to be in a fog. Her heart was beating non-stop, and she felt as if she was suffering from the pain of being tortured to death.
