Chapter 64 Do you want to pledge yourself to me?

Fu Jiusi stretched out his right hand and held hers, "That snake is not poisonous."

Hua Qi felt his wet palms and asked, "Then why are your palms so sweaty?"

"I was born with a cold constitution, and my palms sweat easily." Fu Jiusi lied.

Hua Qi moved closer to him and stared at his mouth.

"Fu Jiusi, your lips seem to be swollen. Are they numb?"

Fu Jiusi pursed his lips to feel it, and said jokingly, "I'm a father, not a mother."

Hua Qi punched him, "I hope your mouth becomes swollen like a sausage, so you can't speak!"

Fu Jiusi tilted his head and glanced at her. Her face was a little pale and her eyes looked a little dull, as if she was sleepy.

"Don't sleep, talk to me." He held her hand and shook it.

Hua Qi raised her eyes and said, "You are full of dirty talk, I can't argue with you."

"…I'm so sleepy, let me sleep for a while."

"No!" Fu Jiusi pinched her palm, "Tell me about your ex."

Irritated by the word "ex", Hua Qi suddenly opened her eyes wide and pointed at him, warning, "Don't mess around in my minefield."

Fu Jiusi chuckled, "Scars can only heal if they are uncovered and the rotten flesh is scraped off."

"It's none of your business!" Hua Qi turned and looked out the car window.

"If your ex gets married, will you attend the wedding?" Fu Jiusi asked.

"Don't ask too much about what's going on in society." Hua Qi retorted.

"You don't dare to go, do you?" Fu Jiusi deliberately provoked her.

Hua Qi sneered, "Why wouldn't I dare go?"

"He's the one who should feel guilty!"

Fu Jiusi asked, "Are you still short of a male companion for your wedding?"

Hua Qi looked at him critically and said, "I've already decided who to look for."

"Wen Fan?" Fu Jiusi asked.

Hua Qi leaned lazily against the chair, imagining the wonderful scene of attending the wedding with her ex-uncle arm in arm, and a sly smile curved her lips.

"Of course, I'll find a super heavyweight, the most lethal man to accompany me."

"Who is it?" Fu Jiusi asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hua Qi rolled his eyes at him and said, "It's not you anyway."

Fu Jiusi sighed, "That's such a pity. I was originally planning to go with you to a wealthy family to see the world."

Hua Qi, "Go to the bar. Rich women like people like you."

Fu Jiusi, "Isn't this just me relying on you?"

"Then you've really misjudged me," Hua Qi blinked vigorously, "I'm just a poor office worker who provides legal services to rich men and women, just to make a living."

The mind is still clear, but the state is very wrong.

My eyelids are heavy and my head is dizzy and dazed, as if I took cold medicine and am in a fog.

Dry mouth and a strong desire to drink water.

My whole arm was numb, like a piece of wood sticking out of my body.

"Don't sleep, we'll be at the hospital soon." Fu Jiusi grabbed her arm and shook it hard.

"Well, drive your car..." Hua Qi said, tilted his head and closed his eyes.

When she opened her eyes again, she was lying on the hospital bed.

There was an IV hanging above his head, and the arm that was bitten by the snake was hanging by the bed, soaking in a container filled with purple-red liquid.

Hua Qi suddenly raised his arm with a "crash" sound.

From the elbow down, it was purple-red, which looked scary.

The wound on the wrist seemed to have been cut and enlarged by someone, but I didn't feel any pain.

It should be a local anesthesia, right?

After confirming that her hand was still there, she breathed a sigh of relief and put it back.

"Awake?" The partition curtain beside him was drawn aside, and Fu Jiusi, lying on the next bed, looked over from the side.

Hua Qi looked at the mask on his face, then at the IV bag above his head, "Are you poisoned too?"

Fu Jiusi raised his arms and placed them behind his head, a faint smile in his deep eyes.

"I risked my life to save you. Do you want to marry me?"

"Are you blackmailing me?" Hua Qi quickly pulled the curtain shut, separating herself from him.

At this time, the nurse came in to take the temperature and blood pressure.

Hua Qi asked, "Why do you want to hang the water?"

The nurse said softly, "The bite from the bamboo snake is quite serious."

"Luckily your boyfriend took emergency measures, otherwise you might have died."

"The doctor injected you with anti-snake venom serum. To be on the safe side, you'll need to take anti-inflammatory drugs for two days to prevent secondary infection."

Hua Qi moved her arm that was soaking in the container. "What is this?"

Nurse, "Use a diluted potassium permanganate solution to soak the affected limb in some of the snake venom it has absorbed, thereby losing its secondary activity."

Hua Qi nodded, pointed to the next door, and asked silently, "Why is he wearing a mask?"

The nurse laughed and deliberately said loudly, "Your boyfriend sucked out the snake venom and got infected. He's wearing a mask because he doesn't want to scare you."

"He is not my boyfriend!" Hua Qi corrected.

The nurse pulled aside the curtain, took Fu Jiusi's blood pressure, and jokingly asked, "What's wrong with you?"

"You've risked your life, and you still haven't caught him?"

Fu Jiusi raised his eyes and looked over, smiling faintly, "Maybe I didn't do well enough."

Hua Qi: “…”

After the nurse left, she asked, "Is this someone you hired as a shill?"

Fu Jiusi raised her eyebrows slightly, "It cost several hundred dollars, please reimburse me when you get back."

Hua Qi scoffed coldly, "You find someone to help you, and I'll reimburse you. You're quite good at accounting!"

Fu Jiusi smiled faintly, "But there's one thing I just can't figure out."

Seeing that he sounded sincere, she thought it might be medical expenses, and looked up at him, "What do you mean?"

"How many steps does it take to get into your heart?" he asked with a wicked smile.

“Snap!”

Hua Qi pulled the curtain and ignored him.

About half an hour later, a slightly older female doctor came in and sutured her wound.

Then, a handsome guy came in.

He is tall and slightly thin.

She was wearing a colorful beach outfit and had tan skin, giving off a very holiday vibe.

He has a neat and clean crew cut, wears big sunglasses, and has a lollipop bitten on his mouth.

He walked over with one hand in his trouser pocket and the gait of a dandy young man.

As he walked, the black diamond earring in his right ear sparkled.

Hua Qi stared at him carefully. Who is this?

When he arrived at the bedside, he raised his hand to pull down his sunglasses and looked at her over the top of the glasses.

A pair of peach blossom eyes filled with gentle smiles, as if peach blossoms are in full bloom.

Hua Qi was completely bewildered. Who was this? She had no idea who this was...
