She looked down at herself and saw that she was dirty and her feet were bare and covered in mud.
"Excuse me, please wait a moment while I go change my clothes."
"It's okay," Landy Wen smiled faintly, "I was abrupt."
"It was my fault for coming here without informing you."
She held the bouquet of tulips in both hands and handed it to me. "I don't know what you like, but I saw that this flower looked beautiful, so I bought it."
Her eyes were full of sincerity, even with a hint of humility.
Hua Qi couldn't tell for a moment whether she was being a green tea or being sincere.
Looking behind her, Wan Nuo's Maybach was parked steadily, with his assistant standing next to him.
Perhaps noticing her gaze, Special Assistant Lin looked up at her, hesitant to speak, his eyes full of guilt.

Landy Wen smiled and tried to smooth things over. "I thought Special Assistant Lin was familiar with the road conditions, so I asked him to drive this car."
Hua Qi took the bouquet and raised her hand, "Please come in, Mr. Wen."
Arriving at the living room, Hua Qi casually pointed at the sofa and said, "Mr. Wen, please do as you please. I'll go clean up."
Hua Qi went upstairs to wash up, changed clothes and went downstairs.
"Sorry for the long wait," she walked around to sit opposite Landy Wen and made tea.
"Lawyer Hua, I smelled a strong herbal aroma as soon as I entered the living room. Are the elders in your family Chinese medicine practitioners?"
Hua Qi nodded slightly, "My grandma is a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner."
Landy Wen's eyes showed regret. "I've loved studying these herbs since I was a child. I majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine in college, but unfortunately, I gave up."
Hua Qi poured a cup of tea and brought it to her. "Mr. Wen, are you here today just to chat?"
Landy Wen sighed slightly, "I came here rashly because I really have something to do."
"On the way here, I was struggling with how to tell you."
