Fu Jiusi leaned over and touched Baxi's head, then opened his palm.
Baxi opened his mouth and a big red velvet box fell into his palm.
She looked carefully. Isn't this the one that Fu Jiusi took out of the car after getting the marriage certificate?
As the box opened, a pair of rings appeared before her.
Fu Jiusi stood up with the help of the wheelchair armrest, "This is the wedding ring I designed based on the manuscript left by my mother."
"This one you designed for me," he stroked the tattoo on his left ring finger, "is expected to be ready by next year's wedding anniversary."
Hua Qi's eyes were slightly moist, and a happy smile appeared at the corners of his lips.
"We've already exchanged rings, and you still say this isn't an engagement ceremony?"
She stretched out her left hand and put the ring on her finger in front of Fu Jiusi.
Fu Jiusi's deep eyes were filled with affection. He smiled and lifted her hand, then put the ring on her ring finger.
"Today's ceremony is really just a welcoming one. I added this part just to put the ring on your finger and let the whole world know that you are married."
Wan Jingyan stood by and watched, smiling and crying.
Mo Chi took the tissue and handed it to her silently.
Wan Jingyan was slightly startled. She didn't dare to look up at him, nor did she take the tissue. She coldly ordered, "Your task is to take pictures of them."
Mo Chi stuffed the tissue into her hand and said, "Sister, you like me in your heart too, right?"
Wan Jingyan suddenly raised her hand to cover his mouth, "Don't talk nonsense!"
Mo Chi looked at her panicked expression and smiled confidently, "Sister, have I exposed your secrets?"
Wan Jingyan turned her head to look at Fu Jiusi, pulled Mo Chi back to the living room, and turned away his wrist with resentment.
She glanced at the nanny who was cleaning the living room and said, "Aunt Zhang, please go out first and close the door."
"Yes," Aunt Zhang walked out of the living room quickly and closed the door carefully.
Wan Jingyan paced back and forth in the living room, frowning, seeming to want to say something but stopping himself.
Mo Chi looked at her with sparkling eyes, and his affectionate eyes seemed like blooming peach blossoms.
After a while.
Wan Jingyan sighed, "Xiao Chi, what happened last night was just an accident, don't take it to heart."
Mo Chi shrugged his shoulders and spread his hands, grinning innocently, "What happened last night?"
"Last night, we were just selecting photos together and unexpectedly heard some strange noises."
"Alright," Wan Jingyan lowered her head in embarrassment, "let's put this matter behind us. No one is allowed to mention it again."
After she finished speaking, she turned and left.
Mo Chi grabbed her wrist and said, "Sister, you came out of the bedroom at 9:27 this morning. It's 11:18 now, two hours have passed, and you haven't dared to look me in the eye. Is it because you're concerned about that voice?"
"If you care so much, then I have to watch that video with you again."
“…” Wan Jingyan glared at him with a red face.
"In that video, when Brother Jiu's voice came out, you were already asleep."
"I have to watch it again, and I have to let you know and believe that the person in it is not me."
"I believe you, there's no need to look," Wan Jingyan struggled hard, "Let go!"
Mo Chi threw the camera onto the sofa and freed his hand to hold her other arm.
"Sister, don't compete with me in strength. You can't win."
"I'm not the fragile kid I used to be."
"Now I am a man, a strong man of 1.87 meters."
"Sister, take a good look at me. I can do what other men can do for you!"
"Stop talking!" Wan Jingyan turned away and didn't look at him.
"I want to say it!" Mo Chi turned to face her and mustered up the courage to look her in the eyes. "Sister, I have liked you for many years."
"Can you be my girlfriend?"
"Or, we can follow the example of Brother Jiu and Xiao Qi and get the marriage certificate directly in one go."
Wan Jingyan seemed to have been struck by a bolt from the blue. He stood there in a daze, his eyes full of disbelief and panic.
Her lips trembled slightly, her face turned pale as paper, and her facial muscles twitched slightly due to excessive shock.
She seemed to want to say something, but was so shocked by the sudden confession that she didn't know where to start.
After a long pause, she lowered her head as if to escape and scolded in a low voice, "You...you kid, don't joke!"
She tried to hide her inner turmoil with a stern tone, but the unconcealable tremor exposed her panic and helplessness.
Mo Chi's eyes were firm as he stared at her closely and leaned closer.
"Sister, I'm not kidding."
"This feeling has been in my heart for a very long time."
His voice was steady and powerful, as if every word carried a great weight.
His eyes were firm and fervent, staring straight at her, not allowing her to avoid him in the slightest.
"Sister, I know what you are worried about. This was also a hurdle in my heart."
"After worrying for a long time, I suddenly realized that loving you is my business, so why should I care about worldly opinions?!"
"I did grow up next to you, but so what?"
"You and I are not related by blood!"
"We just lived together before we fell in love with each other."
"If this were in ancient times, I would be your child-rearing husband!"
"We four unfortunate children were brought together by fate and grew up supporting each other. As the eldest sister, you did the most work, but that doesn't mean you are the elder."
"Over the years, you've always treated us like children and always shouldered everything yourself."
"When I was fourteen in the winter, I saw you crying alone in the car. I swore that I would work harder to become a man who would protect you, love you, and support you."
