Once she understood this, Zhang Lan immediately started shouting at the top of her lungs.
"Help! Help!"
Li Junsheng was unaware that Zhang Lan was already scared. These past two days had been difficult for Li Xiaoyu and Tang Liang.
A wedding should be a joyous occasion, but now that it's turned into this mess, who can be happy about it?

He came out of the kitchen, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and then politely asked Li Chunya, "Sister, what did you call me out for?"
"We've heard from Zhang Lan. She wants to see Dad and talk to him. Dad thinks she might reveal who instructed her to break you and Xiaoyu up, so he wants you to bring your parents along to hear what's going on!"
Tang Liang suddenly realized that it was absolutely necessary to call his parents along.

Zhang Lan was genuinely frightened. Hearing Tang Liang's words, she quickly compromised, saying, "No, no, how can this be entirely blamed on me? Someone did come to me yesterday."
"He told me the location of your marital home, and asked me to cause trouble, to expose Li Xiaoyu's scandal to your parents. He even promised me a sum of money and a decent job for my son after it was all done!"
“As you know, my son is a former convict, and no company wants to hire him. That’s why I had no choice but to cause trouble for Li Xiaoyu in order to get a job for my son.”
Sure enough, Zhang Lan suddenly came to our door; someone must have been behind this.

Even though they were both honest people, the thought that someone didn't want their son to have a good life still made them somewhat angry.
"Who exactly was the person who instructed you to break up Xiaoyu and Tang Liang? What did they look like? What was their name?"
When Tang's parents asked, Zhang Lan shook her head and said, "I don't know. I really don't know. He didn't tell me his name. I was so happy at the time that I forgot to ask."
"All I know is that his son owns a clothing store in the city. He said that if I could get things done for him, he could get my son a job at the store. Think about it yourselves, have you ever offended someone like that?"
Zhang Lan's tone carried a hint of cautious flattery and ingratiation.
Upon hearing Zhang Lan's description of these events, Tang Liang immediately thought of his uncle.
"He sells clothes in the city, has a shop, and knows us so well! It must be Tang Dongliang. He looked like he couldn't stand to see us doing well on our engagement day. I'm going to find him!"
Tang Liang was furious. He stopped calling him "uncle" and started calling him Tang Dongliang by his full name.
