Chapter 90: Enter the Trap (Two in One)

于是,在約會遲到後,妻子一副當他不存在的樣子自己付了餐費,徒留他一個人呆坐在座位上苦惱。
但家庭和工作兩個方面,男主還是分得開,因此他的打算就是先幫助了可兒之後,再去修複夫妻關系:因為他認為妻子對他生氣的根本原因,還是在于他一年前沒能拯救那個患者。
妻子一直都認為他無所不能,這一下當面跌落神壇,自然就有了別樣的心思。
為了盡快治療好可兒,男主一直在努力與可兒交好。
在這一大一小的距離好不容易拉近了一些的時候,可兒母親琳恩忽然就開始發現了可兒從小到大的記錄照片裏,都有着一道奇怪光斑的怪異現象。
而男主這邊,也發現了妻子在他不知道的時候,有男人暗中追求的事……
“難道可兒是真的能看到鬼魂?所以才會被人排擠,而男主其實一直都是自以為是地認為自己在幫助她?!”聯想到電影的名字和展示出來的靈異劇情,觀衆們開始議論起來。
“只顧着工作不顧妻子,難怪男主落得這個下場!”
“男主已經很努力了,可兒那麽可憐,他想要拯救她是當然的!”
“說得對,作為妻子的安娜不理解丈夫才是最不應該的!”
議論到這裏時,劇情剛好也播到了妻子安娜坐在沙發上,一遍遍地反複觀看二人當年的結婚錄像的場面。
看來這對夫妻的關系還是有轉機的嘛!
觀衆們紛紛放下了心。
在男主和可兒的日漸親密的交流裏,可兒總算是開始卸下了防備,偷偷告訴了男主她所知道的那些關于“鬼魂”的特點,以及他們無處不在的事情。
這一番看似溫情的交流過後,男主卻是暗中錄下了新的診斷錄音:他判斷可兒所患的其實是幻想症和精神分裂症,也許自己已經幫不了她。
而且,他也想空出更多的時間去和妻子恢複感情:自從那個治療失敗的患者離世後,兩人的關系就變差了,甚至他還能在家裏看到抗抑郁的藥物——大概是妻子安娜無法接受他這個丈夫的失敗,又在兩人的難以交流下患上了抑郁,所以有了異心讓別人乘虛而入……
越發詭異的各種靈異現象伴随着男主角的帽子顏色逐漸加重,觀衆們正是看得緊張的時候,男主卻在總結可兒和之前那個治療失敗的患者的錄音帶裏,發現了一個奇怪的現象。
自此之後,男主一轉态度,盡全力去相信了可兒所說的話,并且和可兒一起處理了鬼魂的求助,讓他們得到了冤情的平反和安息。
校園節目又一次開始,這一次,已經在男主的鼓勵和陪伴下勇敢面對學校靈異現象的可兒成為了主角亞瑟王,在同學們的掌聲裏,拔出了那一把需要心靈純潔的人才能拔出的石中劍。
節目結束後,站在黃昏教堂的彩窗前,可兒看着滿臉欣慰的男主,忽然開口告訴了他,一個能讓他和他的妻子交流的方法。
“在安娜熟睡之後,在她耳邊說話,她就能聽得見是嗎?”言說至此,這一刻,男主和可兒都意識到,今日之後,也許兩人不會再見面了。
“我們能不能假裝明天還見面?”可兒試探着問。
男主答應了她,然後和昔日可兒匆匆離去一般快步離開了教堂,徒留可兒站在彩窗前,面容帶着平靜和迷惘。
五彩斑斓的色彩和嬌小的身影在黃昏的餘晖中,交彙出了詭麗卻又安寧的畫面,仿似一副溫暖的油畫一般動人。
後來,因為遇到一場小型車禍所以趕不上可兒節目演出的母親琳恩,前來接走了她。
在車上,面對母親的連聲道歉,可兒并沒有責怪,反而是大膽地開口告訴了母親她一直都能看見鬼魂的事情。
“你會不會……認為我是一個怪胎?”從前在學校裏,所有人都這麽說她,所以她抗拒上學的原因在于兩個方面:一是從前曾經是法院的學校裏時不時總能看到許多吊死鬼,二是她說的話都沒有人相信,反而是被老師和同學嘲笑、辱罵她胡說八道,是個奇怪的孩子。
但是這個在外人眼裏口中都是怪胎的孩子,為了成為母親眼裏懂事的孩子,即使再艱難,也還是堅持着上學。
“我永遠都不會這麽想!”母親琳恩語氣堅決地回答道。
可兒終于是笑了起來,然後小聲地告訴母親,外婆在向她問好——那個一直陪伴在可兒成長記錄照片裏的奇怪光斑,正是已經離開了她們多年的外婆。
“外婆跟我說,你曾經為了一場舞蹈表演跟她吵了一架,因為你以為她不想去看女兒的演出……”可兒平靜地說,“其實外婆去看了,她躲在後面,你沒有看到她。”
“她說,那時候的你就像一個天使。”
說完這一句之後,可兒再次仰起頭問道:“媽咪,外婆讓我告訴你,那天你在她墓前問的問題,她的答案是‘每一天’——你那時問了她什麽問題?”
琳恩一愣,随後眼淚就無聲地落了下來。
“我當時問她,她……她有沒有為我感到過驕傲。”
一個認為自己從來就沒有得到“愛”的孩子,在執着多年後忽然在某個偶然的機會裏,發現了那些一直被自己所無視、所忽略的來自親人那份深沉的愛意,不可能不為之激動心疼。
因而在說到這裏時,戲裏泣不成聲的琳恩緊緊抱住了可兒,戲外同樣泣不成聲的簡·方達也緊緊抱住了蘇韻。
簡·方達早年就是認為自己缺乏父母的愛而拼命活成了讨好型人格,和戲中努力工作堅持養家的琳恩頗有共情之處。當初拍攝人工智能時,雖然找到了丢失的記錄解開了她的心結,但她其實始終都還是沉溺在眼前的拼命讨好他人拼命付出的生活裏,難以真正地走出來。
直到蘇韻用電影劇情,讓她痛痛快快地哭了一場。
那一個緊緊的擁抱,讓蘇韻似乎能感受到,為了他人的愛而活的簡·方達終會成為過去;而未來那個将會成為傳奇的簡·方達,開始在得到了愛的前提下,準備新生。
連着三部電影都是催淚神器,觀衆們好不容易擦完眼淚時,最大的反轉,終于是跟随着男主的活動而走入了他們眼中。
原來,男主早就已經在一年前的槍擊意外裏去世。
但又因為他放心不下妻子,所以就成了一道執念于此的鬼魂——這也就解釋了最開始,可兒為什麽一直表現得十分抗拒他的原因。
不是害怕治療,而是可兒從一開始,就知道眼前這個不請自來的的“心理醫生”,其實只是個不知道自己已經死去的可憐鬼魂。
因為男主的執念,他的妻子也被困在了家中,沉溺于過往,一日又一日的回看兩人當年的結婚錄像不願醒來。
長久下來,妻子就被折磨到得了抑郁症。
“睡吧,明天開始,一切都會不一樣了。”男主最後和看着結婚錄像而睡倒在沙發上妻子告別,“我想幫助的人和事,都已經做到了……”
“而我最後還想告訴你一件事——那就是,你對我一直都是最重要的,永遠都是。”
所以,他選擇放手。
可兒說鬼魂出現在身邊時,人類會感到寒冷——但睡夢正酣的妻子卻渾然未覺,而是仿佛回答地呢喃了一句:“晚安,馬爾科姆。”
至此,影片謝幕。
無視了電影院裏面的對劇情的掌聲和驚嘆,伯恩徑直穿過熱鬧的人群,一身冷清地走在大街上。
他想,他大概明白當初蘇韻為什麽想要送他這部電影的電影票的原因了。
救贖和被救贖,從來就只在自我一念間。
苦苦守着執念,反而是作繭自縛。
正當覺得自己有點想通了的伯恩,循着地址找到蘇韻所在的酒店時,卻是發現裏面已經空無一人。
明明說好會等他的……

如同溺水之人終于抓到了一根救命稻草,伯恩一下子撲到書桌邊,拆開了信封一目十行地看起了內容。
