Chapter 31 Chapter 31 "Your family."

"hiss--"

Qiao Zhuo was hit on the knee and woke up suddenly. He caught a glimpse of his red earlobe in the mirror and cursed softly.

My calf hurts again.

He almost fell to his knees and looked at the culprit: "Ancestor, what are you doing..."

Blanket was biting the plate with two ears in his mouth, his eyes full of resentment.

Oh, I forgot to eat.

"Why are you so clingy today?" Tan Du practically dragged his blanket into the villa. Qiao Zhuo tossed him a bottle of water and scoffed, "You stinky dog! If you could talk, I'd complain to you eight hundred times."

"Hmm?" Tan Du poured new snacks into the basin.

The blanket buried his entire face.

"Is it that serious, ancestor?" Qiao Zhuo snorted. "It's not like I didn't make up for the meal I forgot."

Blanket chewed the snacks and turned his head back resentfully.

"Boss Qiao—" Tan Du trailed off, "How could you forget to eat?"

"How dare you say that? If it weren't for survival, I think you would have skipped eating." Qiao Zhuoyi took the small bag from his finger and asked, "What's this?"

"Gorgon fruit cake," Tan Du said, "take a bite first."

"Xiao Fan gave it to me, right?" Qiao Zhuo opened the box. "The flavor is different."

"Hmm?" Tan Du raised an eyebrow. "You gave that away too?"

"He gave it to me. It's the original flavor. Xiao Luo and I finished it in just a few bites," Qiao Zhuo tore it off and stuffed it into his mouth. "It's still delicious with the sweet-scented osmanthus flavor. He puts some food at the gate of Guiyi every day and never shows up. He feeds us like kittens and puppies."

"Every day... hello?" Tan Du asked.

Qiao Zhuo nodded.

"That can't be a puppy." Tan Du curled his lips and glanced at the blanket.

"What do you mean..." Qiao Zhuo reacted and elbowed him in the lower back, "You're so wicked!"

Tan Du didn't expect this. His hand, which was opening the bag, shook and a shrimp jumped out of the tank like a carp, bouncing twice on the floor.

Qiao Zhuo acted quickly, covering the shrimp with his right palm. With his left hand, he pinched the shrimp's tentacles and threw them into the basin. He said with lingering fear, "How can they be so lively if they bought them this morning?"

Tan Du put a hollowed-out vegetable washing basin on top and replied, "Just bought it."

No wonder his shirt was soaked with sweat. Qiao Zhuo looked away and said, "Buying groceries every day is quite troublesome. I'll find someone to deliver them to my door..."

"No need." Tan Du waved his hand.

"You're so polite." Qiao Zhuo lowered his voice.

"Really not," Tan Du looked at him and smiled, "The vegetable market is lively, it's pretty good."

Like lively atmosphere?

Qiao Zhuoyi took the tissue, rubbed it with his fingers, and said nothing.

"Boss Qiao?" Tan Du buried his face in the pillow and said in a muffled voice, "Itchy."

When Qiao Zhuo came to his senses, his fingertips were still pressing on the mole. He coughed lightly and shrank back onto the sofa.

Half of Tan Du's face was pressed on the pillow, with only one eye exposed, half-closed.

Qiao Zhuoyi coughed lightly and said, "No more touching, just sleep."

Tan Du yawned: "Is there something wrong?"

Qiao Zhuoyi: "You don't know?"

Tan Du's eyes drooped: "The eyes are in the front."

Qiao Zhuo compared it and said, "There is a mole."

"Oh—" Tan Du lowered his voice, "Did it give you inspiration?"

Qiao Zhuo responded, and seeing that his eyelids were getting heavier and heavier, he left a sigh and said "take a look", then fell asleep completely.

The deep and three-dimensional outline loses its aggressiveness when the eyes are closed, and the eyelashes are too long and slightly curled towards the eyebrows.

The eye sockets are deep, and the eyes are wide in front and narrow in the back.

Qiao Zhuo drew a few strokes to outline the contours. As he filled in the eyeballs, the look became more and more familiar. He quickly took out the client's photo and looked at it for a while, took a deep breath, erased it and drew again.

The eyes should not be too charming, the overall eye shape should not be too narrow, and the tail of the eye should not be too downward...

The blanket purred, drowning out the ticking of the second hand.

"Very vivid." A hoarse voice came from above.

Qiao Zhuo shook his hand and dragged out a long line.

"Sorry." An insincere apology, even with a smile.

"When did you wake up?" Qiao Zhuoyi closed the screen face down.

Tan Du shook his wrist, and the red rope bumped against the glass. "It's been a while. I thought Boss Qiao saw it."

"I didn't notice." Qiao Zhuoyi pinched his shoulder and turned his neck. Just as he put down his arm, a hand came up on his shoulder. He stood up and asked, "What?"

Tan Du didn't expect such a big reaction from him. His hands were still massaging, and he smiled and said, "Are you scared?"

Qiao Zhuo turned his head and asked, "What's wrong?"

"I'd like to ask Mr. Qiao for a favor." Tan Du retreated to the chair and sat down.

"Let go!" Qiao Zhuoyi also shrank back into the sofa, hugging the pillow in his arms.

"Help me design the Qixi Festival poster." Tan Du said with a smile, "We need to create some festive atmosphere."

Qiao Zhuo snorted coldly: "Don't you have the printing shop owner to discuss this with?"

Tan Du rubbed his nose, was silent for a moment, waved his hands behind his back, and Blanket came over with his tail wagging.

He bent down, pinched the blanket with his front paws, and shook it. "Please, Master Qiao."

"Get out." Qiao Zhuo threw the pillow over with a smile.

As soon as Tan Du raised his arm, Blanket jumped up and grabbed it, then snuggled into his arms and begged for praise.

"Damn it," Qiao Zhuo gritted his teeth, "Who are you?"

"Yours," Tan Du pinched his chin under the blanket with one hand, raised his eyelids and said slowly, "Xiao Qiao - the boss."
