Chapter 62 Chapter 62 "No."

Chapter 62 Chapter 62 "No."

Tan Du directly shouted "three".

"You!" Qiao Zhuo's eyes were filled with anger.

"Honestly, I feel bad for you," Tan Du said, smiling softly. He pointed at his hand and said, "You really need to take care of it. Overworking it won't be worth it."

Qiao Zhuo spread out his hands and grasped them: "Press again."

"Is the strength okay?" Tan Du rubbed his hands and pressed again.

Qiao Zhuoyi tapped his brow lightly: "Okay, it's not a big deal. I'll pay attention."

Tan Du pressed the key for a while, and when he spoke again his voice was even hoarseer and more magnetic, like the sound of a cello flowing from a phonograph.

"It's too late, hurry up and take a shower and go to bed, otherwise you won't be photogenic tomorrow."

"I don't rely on my looks to make a living, I'm just going through the motions."

That being said, Boss Qiao was never one to be perfunctory about his work. Otherwise, he wouldn't have agreed to filming even if he had to pay liquidated damages. He stood up, lifted his finger under his chin, and looked at him. "Why are your eyes so red?"

"It's okay." Tan Du closed his eyes. "It just looks scary, but I don't feel anything."

"Hmph," Qiao Zhuo raised his eyebrows, "Xiaodu, Xiaodu."

Tan Du's brows relaxed: "I'm here."

"What should I do if my boyfriend has red eyes?"

"Have some sleep." Tan Du hugged him.

Qiao Zhuo glared at him and finally said back, "There's a shoot tomorrow."

"Remember." Tan Duhui.

A double entendre.

With bad intentions.

Qiao Zhuo gritted his teeth and helped the person upstairs.

Back in the bedroom, Qiao Zhuo entered the bathroom and saw Tan Du lying on the sofa, pressing his solar plexus to relax.

After a while, a head popped out of the bathroom and snapped his fingers at him: "Come sit by the door."

"?" Tan Du walked over, leaning against the door frame and looking down at the man who had taken off his shirt, "Testing me?"

"Think about something serious. I'm afraid you'll pass out." Qiao Zhuoyi looked into his eyes again. "I'm feeling better now. I won't close the door. If you feel unwell, call me at the door. I can hear you."

"Okay." Tan Du nodded slightly.

"Sit down and wait," Qiao Zhuo turned and went in, "There's a chair behind you."

"Um."

Tan Du was too lazy to move and leaned against the door frame. The figure behind the frosted glass was shrouded in misty heat, but the outline was still visible. He smiled and thought it was really a test.

Tonight's wine is nothing to Tan Du. He drank so much wine in the villa by himself on the night of the power outage.

But Qiao Zhuoyi just felt uneasy. Alcohol is a thing that makes people who are in a bad mood feel uncomfortable.

He had a hunch that Tan Du was hiding something, but he didn't want to talk about it, so Qiao Zhuoyi didn't force it. However, he rarely slept lightly that night, and he was worried that Tan Du might be feeling unwell.

With this guy's personality, he would definitely bear it himself without even calling out to him.

The third time he reached out to touch someone's face, he was caught.

Tan Du said hoarsely, "It's really nothing. You've been touching me every half hour and I really can't fall asleep."

After hearing his repeated assurances that he would definitely tell others if anything happened, Qiao Zhuoyi fell asleep peacefully holding him.

When I woke up the next day, the place next to me was cold.

Qiao Zhuo had a habit of getting up early every day to walk on the blanket. He took out his phone and sent an emoticon to show that he was awake.

Tan Du sent back a picture showing a row of breakfast shops emitting steam.

TZ: [Good morning. Which one are you favoring today?]

Not Xiao Qiao: [Egg noodles.]

Not Xiao Qiao: [You do it.]

TZ: [I'll be right back.]

Qiao Zhuo smiled and was about to stand up when Liang Yizi sent another message: [I didn't have time to tell you yesterday, but Uncle Qiao was at my house yesterday. I don't know what he talked about with my dad. I heard them mention your name.]

Qiao Zhuo's face darkened unconsciously, and he replied, "I know."

"Not awake yet?" Ten minutes later, Tan Du walked in with a smile and touched his face.

Qiao Zhuo shivered from the cold.

"It's getting colder," Tan Du said, "Don't ride your bike today."

Qiao Zhuo responded, his mind still thinking about Liang Yizi's words, and his neck felt cold again. He hissed and gritted his teeth: "Tan, Du!"

"Hurry up," Tan Du smiled and dodged out the door, "The noodles will be ready soon."

Qiao Zhuo reluctantly got up and packed up. His phone vibrated while he was changing clothes.

After watching the string of numbers jump for a while, he picked up the phone: "What's the matter?"

"Come back for dinner at the end of the month."

"No reply." Qiao Zhuo hung up the phone quickly.

He wasn't worried about the other party calling again. Qiao Tingjin was a very arrogant person, and it was impossible for him to get back at someone after being hung up on.

After eating a bowl of hot noodles, Qiao Zhuoyi stretched comfortably.

"Is it enough?" Tan Du saw that he hadn't slept well, so he guessed that he didn't have a big appetite and put less noodles in it.

Qiao Zhuoyi touched his stomach and said, "Seven points. You're deducting my rations."

"Let's go to the store," Tan Du also reached out and touched it, "I'll give you another sandwich."

"Are you still open today?" Qiao Zhuo asked.

"We're open until 10 p.m., so people who are filming have to come in the afternoon," Tan Du said. "We were closed all day yesterday, and regular customers were complaining in the group chat, saying they had no energy to work."

"Oh—" Qiao Zhuoyi followed him into the kitchen and watched him clean up, "Guiyi is also open for half a day."

Tan Du smiled and said, "Are you shy? Afraid that Xiao Luo and Si Mo will come and watch you filming?"

Qiao Zhuoyi didn't hide it: "Yes, I feel uncomfortable."

"Then I'll let Xiaolu and Zhou Jue leave early as well."

As he was speaking, his cell phone vibrated.

"Mine." Tan Du's hands were covered in foam. He turned sideways. Qiao Zhuoyi took it out of his pocket and took a look at it: "Dian Heng?"

"Take it." Tan Du said.

Qiao Zhuo pressed the answer button and put the phone to Tan Du's ear.

A string of words came blasting at him like firecrackers. Qiao Zhuo couldn't make out any of them. He only saw Tan Du's expression slowly changing before he finally uttered two words: "No."
