Chapter 112 Jin Qingyu, you can't do this to me

Chapter 112 Jin Qingyu, you can't do this to me

Jin Qingyu didn't respond to Cheng Jing's words; instead, his cold gaze swept over Jiang Cancan.

Jiang Cancan swallowed nervously, trying to remain calm, and asked with a bewildered look, "Brother Qingyu, what's wrong?"

Jin Qingyu chuckled, took off his wedding ring from his ring finger, and placed it on the table.

He then stepped forward, grabbed Jiang Cancan by the back of the neck, dragged her to the edge of the pool, and shoved her head into the cold water.

Caught off guard, Jiang Cancan choked on a mouthful of water. She struggled to get up, but couldn't break free from the man's grip.

The calm pool was suddenly rippled with waves. Jin Qingyu's voice was icy cold: "You like to throw people into the water, don't you? Then you can try it yourself."

Bubbling water was rising in the pool. Jiang Cancan couldn't hold her breath any longer; tears streamed down her face, and she was about to suffocate.

Physiological tears welled up and quickly mixed with the water in the pool until they disappeared.

Her hands thrashed and struggled, her arms slamming against the surface of the pool. Her fingers, which had been numb and without feeling, started to sting again after getting wet.

Just when Jiang Cancan thought that Jin Qingyu was going to drown her here, the man finally pulled her up by her hair.

She collapsed at Jin Qingyu's feet like a lump of mud, panting heavily. Before she could fully recover, she felt Jin Qingyu's hand on the back of her neck tighten again.

Jiang Cancan was terrified. She screamed, "Brother Qingyu, stop! You can't do this to me! Don't forget, I..."

Before she could finish speaking, Jin Qingyu frowned impatiently and threw her directly into the pool.

Jiang Cancan couldn't swim. She felt the icy water about to engulf her entire body, and she could only struggle desperately. Through her blurry eyes, she saw Jin Qingyu's figure standing on the shore, and her voice was broken: "Brother Qingyu, I... what did I do wrong... what... what? Why... why are you doing this to me? Save... save me!"

In her excessive panic and helplessness, Jiang Cancan's voice became much sharper.

She knew the reason in her heart, but she also knew that she could not admit to that matter no matter what. As long as she did not admit it, Jin Qingyu could not really do anything to her.

She still held a bargaining chip in her hand; Jin Qingyu couldn't bear to see her die.

Jin Qingyu watched Jiang Cancan struggling in the water.

He thought of Jiang Xingyao, who was quietly floating on the water that day.

That night, his Yaoyao was also soaking in the water like this, lifeless, like a tattered rag doll.

As for Jiang Cancan, she can still shout and scream. How can what she suffered compare to the one in ten thousand that Yao Yao suffered?

When Jin Qingyu's eyes fell on Jiang Cancan's head, they were cold and devoid of any emotion. He parted his thin lips slightly and uttered two words in an almost indifferent manner: "Noisy."

Assistant Xu immediately understood and signaled the bodyguards to pull Jiang Cancan up, then find something to gag her and throw her back down.

For someone who can't swim to begin with, having their mouth blocked makes survival in the water even more difficult.

Jiang Cancan struggled haphazardly, trying to remove the rag stuffed in her mouth. It was such a simple action, yet she couldn't do it.

All she could do was struggle.

She looked at Jin Qingyu with pleading eyes filled with tears.

The wound on her hand was bleeding, and when it got wet, streaks of blood seeped into the pool water—very fine lines, but they didn't escape Jin Qingyu's eyes.

Jin Qingyu thought that when his Yaoyao was pulled out of the water, her dress was almost stained red with blood. How could Jiang Cancan have only left such a little blood?

He casually grabbed a fruit knife from the fruit plate on the table, walked to the poolside again, and with a slight reach, pulled Jiang Cancan over.

Jiang Cancan was still half-submerged in the pool, but now that she had support, she was no longer filled with the fear of being swallowed by the water. She quickly pulled the rag out of her mouth.

Before she could even catch her breath, she saw the knife in Jin Qingyu's hand. Jiang Cancan trembled with fear: "Brother Qingyu! Calm down! Murder is illegal! You...you mustn't forget, only I know what you want to know! You can't touch me!"

The blade gently patted Jiang Cancan's cheek. Jin Qingyu said, "Kill you? You're overthinking it. Jiang Cancan, you're right. I do need your help, so I won't let anything happen to you. But you'll have to suffer the same fate that Yaoyao endured that day."

As the sounds continued to fall, before Jiang Cancan could figure out what he was going to do, a sharp pain suddenly shot through her face, as if something was gushing out down her cheek.

Jiang Cancan raised her hand and touched it; a large patch of bright red blood soaked into her hand.

She screamed, her vision went black, and she nearly fainted.

Before she could even react, Jin Qingyu suddenly released her and pushed her into the pool again.

Blood kept seeping from her face, spreading in the pool water, and was quickly diluted.

Jin Qingyu watched all this expressionlessly. Not enough, still not enough.

His absence that day made him even more aggrieved.

Jin Qingyu suddenly handed a fruit knife to a bodyguard next to him: "Keep an eye on him. When he's about to die, pull him out. Once he's bled dry, cut him."

His voice, as if soaked in ice, struck Jiang Cancan's heart with every word.

Jiang Cancan felt as if her life was being gripped by a demon, instantly giving her a sense of powerlessness, as if she could neither live nor die.

She screamed, "Brother Qingyu! Jin Qingyu! You can't do this to me! You said you would protect me! And I have what you want, you can't...you can't do this to me!"

The feeling of suffocation came faster than the fear in her heart, quickly overwhelming Jiang Cancan's thoughts and leaving her no time to care about the injury on her face.

That's terrifying.

She had never seen such insidious methods before.

Even after so many years in this industry, Jin Qingyu is still the same mad dog who would do anything when he has an attack.

The aloof facade that everyone in this circle maintains can't hide him at all.

Even after he had risen to the top, he still continued to do things his own way.

Screams rang out one after another as Jiang Cancan tried to bring Jin Qingyu back to his senses, but to no avail. Jin Qingyu was no longer looking at her; he walked towards Cheng Jing.

Jiang Cancan is Jin Qingyu's secretary, and Jin Qingyu has always treated her well, a fact known throughout the industry.

Seeing Jin Qingyu showing no mercy in dealing with Jiang Cancan, Cheng Jing was so frightened that his legs trembled and large beads of cold sweat rolled down his cheeks.

When he saw Jin Qingyu sit down next to him, he trembled and said, "Mr. Jin! Mr. Jin, I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have plagiarized Mrs. Jin's song, I shouldn't have..."

Before he could finish speaking, Jin Qingyu reached out and grabbed his chin: "Apologize? Make amends? How can you not drink? Wasn't this how you got my wife drunk back then? Then you should try it yourself."

He opened a bottle of baijiu and, without saying a word, poured it into Cheng Jing's mouth. Cheng Jing choked and coughed incessantly, tears and cold sweat mingling together.

Guo Tianhe watched from the side, trembling all over. He reached out again and again, wanting to stop Jin Qingyu, but withdrew his hand out of fear.

After finishing the bottle of wine, Cheng Jing trembled and begged for mercy: "President Jin, I know I was wrong. I only made Mrs. Jin drink three glasses. How about this, I'll punish myself with ten glasses, ten glasses, okay?"

"Ten cups? Ten cups aren't enough. Don't you like drinking? Come on, drink up. We'll leave when we've finished this whole table," Jin Qingyu said.

The table full of baijiu (Chinese liquor) looked to Cheng Jing like death warrants.

Cheng Jing kept swallowing, and he tried to beg for mercy: "People will die, President Jin, people will really die, please have mercy on me."

Jin Qingyu had even less patience for Cheng Jing. He lifted his eyelids, and three bodyguards came over. Two of them held the scene down, while the other held a bottle and poured the liquor directly into Cheng Jing's mouth.

Screams and struggles continued.

Under the dim, yellow sunset, it was a scene of hell.

It was torture inflicted by Cheng Jing and Jiang Cancan.

But this cruel scene did not arouse Jin Qingyu's pity. He even took out his phone and recorded the video with great interest.

He wanted to show these to Yao Yao.

He personally taught a lesson to those who had bullied Yao Yao.

Yao Yao will be happy to see this.

That way she can give him another chance.

Cheng Jing kept gagging as he was forced to drink more. Guo Tianhe, who was standing to the side, couldn't bear to watch any longer and said, "President Jin, even if Cheng Jing is indeed at fault, we have confirmed the matter that day several times. It was your own consent. It's not good for you to go back on your word now."

His somewhat abrupt voice made Jin Qingyu frown again. His dark eyes seemed to be filled with mist. Jin Qingyu was a little impatient: "Going back on your word? So what?"

Instead of dwelling on this, Mr. Guo should check his phone and read the news first.

Jin Qingyu's slow and deliberate voice made Guo Tianhe feel uneasy. When he opened his phone screen again, everything went black.

The way they looked at Cheng Jing also became a little strange.

His marriage to Mrs. Guo was a business arrangement; whether at home or in business, Mrs. Guo always had the upper hand over him.

Cheng Jing is his illegitimate son, whom he has kept hidden all along.

But now this matter has suddenly been exposed, and the news is full of it, and it has topped the trending searches.

He had kept his phone on silent because he was wary of Jin Qingyu, but now, glancing at it, he noticed several missed calls, all from Mrs. Guo.

Guo Tianhe took a deep breath, ignoring Cheng Jing, and was about to go aside to return the call when Jin Qingyu slowly said, "President Guo, I know you're not the mastermind. I'm a reasonable person. Making you leave with nothing isn't too much to ask, is it?"
