"quack."
Erbai turned his head away, as if he didn't want to see the scene of flesh and blood being separated.
Yun Mo found a small cardboard box, put the two little goslings in it, and then patted Erbai's head comfortingly.
"Don't worry, they will be fine."
After Yun Mo took the cardboard box and went out, Erbai turned back, stretched his neck and looked straight at the closed door, his black eyes slowly becoming moist.
“Chirp.”
As if sensing its mother's sadness, Daidai walked up to Erbai and rubbed Erbai's legs with its pink beak.
Erbai lowered his head, touched Daidai's head with his beak, and then squatted down and started to daze.
In the yard, Yun Mo poked a few holes for ventilation in the cardboard box and then handed it to Ling Chunhua to hold. She took Daguai and Erguai with her and prepared to set out to find Zeng Fang.
I made an appointment with Xie Xia before. Today I will go to Xie’s house to have lunch and look at clothes.
Yun Mo had just locked the gate of the courtyard when the Zeng family’s car arrived.
"Momo, spring flower."
Zeng Fang greeted the two through the car window, and then her eyes fell on the small cardboard box in Chunhua's hands.
"Chunhua, what are you holding?"
"It's the goose."
Zeng Fang looked at Yun Mo with some surprise, "You plan to give the goose to Sister Xia? Will Erbai agree?"
"I can't help it if you disagree. We can't keep so many at home. I only plan to keep Dai Dai and Guo Guo. The others will be given away."
Zeng Fang immediately said, "Then give me two more to raise."
"Sure, come and choose then."
"It's a deal. You have to keep it for me."
"Don't worry, let you choose first. After you choose, I will find a way to give the others away."
As she spoke, Yun Mo opened the back door and carried Ling Chunhua into the car.
This was the first time for Ling Chunhua to ride in a car in her life. She sat stiffly and upright, holding the small cardboard box in her hands and not daring to move.
Seeing Ling Chunhua's nervousness, Zeng Fang smiled and stroked her ponytail, "Who braided your hair? It looks so pretty."
Ling Chunhua was a little shy and answered softly, "Aunt."
"What did you call me?"
Ling Chunhua opened her round eyes and thought for a while, "Auntie."
"Hey, you're so good."
Zeng Fang happily grabbed a handful of candy from the storage box and said, "Here you go."
Ling Chunhua did not answer it, but turned her head to look at Yun Mo who got in the car from the other door.
Yun Mo was busy carrying Daguai and Erguai into the car and did not notice Ling Chunhua's pleading look.
Zeng Fang stuffed the candy directly into Ling Chunhua's pocket and said, "Look at what your aunt is doing. Put the candy in your pocket and eat it slowly."
Yun Mo looked up at the two of them, and seeing Ling Chunhua looking at her helplessly, she couldn't help but smile.
"Tell Aunt Fang thank you."
Ling Chunhua immediately turned around and said to Zeng Fang, "Thank you, Aunt Fang."
"You're welcome."
The Xie family lives in the Yiheyuan in the west of the city. That area is a famous wealthy area. The houses are all old villas from the Republic of China period. They have their own doors and courtyards and are far apart from each other, so they are very private.
The Xie family’s house is located in the southwest corner of the block and is a three-story French-style building.
The walls are white, the tiles are green, and the gate is built with white marble columns in the shape of a tall arch.
After decades of polishing, this beautiful building mixed with historical heritage exudes a simple, majestic and heavy feeling, which is a wealth and grandeur that cannot be purchased with money.
Even Zeng Fang couldn't help but admire, "Sister Xia's house is so beautiful."
“Here I come.”
Xie Xia walked out of the gate and saw three people and two dogs standing in a row at the door. She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows and said, "Go in first."
Daguai and Erguai seemed to still remember Xie Xia. They wagged their tails wildly and made whining sounds in their throats.
Yun Mo bent down and untied the dog leashes around their necks. The two guys immediately ran forward and circled around Xie Xia's feet.
Xie Xia bent down and picked one of them up, shook it, and smiled at Yun Mo, "It's well-fed. It's become fatter."
Yun Mo smiled and walked forward, picking up another one. "You don't know how much they can eat. Three meals a day, each meal can have a big bowl, more than I eat."
“Woof woof woof.”
As they were talking, a sturdy adult Husky suddenly appeared at the gate, raising its head and barking at Daguai and Erguai.
"Oh~"
When they saw the mother dog, Daguai and Erguai, who were held by Xie Xia and Yun Mo, both struggled excitedly.

Yun Mo bent down and put Erguai on the ground. Erguai immediately ran towards the adult Husky. Because he ran too fast, he fell down, which made everyone laugh.
Xie Xia also put the dog in her hand on the ground and let it go to find the mother Husky. Then she turned her head and her eyes fell on Ling Chunhua beside Yun Mo.
"Your child?"
Yun Mo smiled and explained, "She's my niece. Her father is away on a long trip, so he asked me to take care of her for two days."
"She's pretty cute."
Ling Chunhua was shy to begin with, and when Xie Xia praised her like that, her face immediately turned red, like a ripe apple.
"Chunhua, call someone."
"Aunt."
Xie Xia nodded indifferently, then called the servant and asked him to help Ling Chunhua get the cardboard box.
The servant took the carton and noticed that something seemed to be moving inside. He curiously looked into the carton through the air vents.
"What's wrong?" Xie Xia asked casually when she noticed that the servant looked strange.
The servant replied curiously: "Miss, there are two ducklings in the carton."
"It's a gosling." Ling Chunhua corrected timidly.
Xie Xia glanced at Ling Chunhua, took the carton from the servant and opened it.
“Chirp.”
Looking at the two little goslings that were calling with their heads tilted back, Xie Xia was silent for two seconds, then turned to look at Yun Mo, "What does this mean?"
Yun Mo blinked her beautiful almond-shaped eyes, "A gift, specially for you to raise."
Xie Xia rubbed her forehead and said, "I don't keep pets."
Yun Mo looked at Daguai and Erguai who were playing affectionately with their mother dog.
"The dog is my brother's."
Hearing the slight disdain in Xie Xia's tone, Yun Mo smiled and said, "Raising geese is not as troublesome as raising dogs. You just need to fence in a place and put out water and goose food."
Xie Xia looked at her doubtfully, then looked at the two light yellow furry goslings in the cardboard box, and finally handed them over to the servants to take care of them.
Needless to say, the Xie family's interior is luxurious and magnificent. The price of a set of sofas in the living room alone is comparable to the courtyard house where Yun Mo lives now.
Sitting on the sofa was a little boy in a white sweater, who looked to be less than ten years old. His facial features were somewhat similar to Xie Xia's, delicate and handsome. The European crystal ceiling above his head gave him a soft glow, and he looked as handsome as a little prince who had walked out of a comic book.
"My brother, Xie Jinghuai."
Xie Xia introduced herself to several people briefly, then walked up to the young man and tapped his head with her finger.
"Call for help."
The boy was working on a robot toy in his hand. After being interrupted, he looked a little irritated and depressed.
