Qiao Wanwan: "......"
"Alright, alright, have you confessed enough?" Zhan Yin, having watched the show to his heart's content, finally spoke up. "Qiao Wanwan, it looks like no one's coming to pick you up today. You have two choices: first, continue chatting with the campus heartthrob about pursuing you; second, get in my car and leave."
Qiao Wanwan didn't hesitate for long, "Then let's go."
She nodded to the boy and quickly followed Zhan Yin away.
They remained silent the entire way.
Zhan Yin, unable to bear it any longer, turned to look at her and said, "Qiao Wanwan, shouldn't you be happy that someone confessed to you? Why are you looking so gloomy?"
"Zhan Jingting said he would come to pick me up, but he didn't come, and he didn't reply to my messages."
"Really?" Zhan Yin was also a little curious. "My uncle is a man of his word. He always does what he promises. This isn't like him at all."
"You think so too, right?" Qiao Wanwan was even more worried and picked up her phone to call Zhan Jingting again.

"No."
"That's good." Qiao Wanwan said softly, "Zhan Yin is taking me home, you don't need to pick me up."
There was a long silence on the other end of the phone before a voice came through, "I promised to pick you up, didn't I? Sorry, I forgot."
Qiao Wanwan didn't want to be emotional, but a feeling of loss and sadness just kept welling up inside her...
