Zhan Yin laughed out loud, "My aunt asked you to help find someone, but you don't need to be in such a hurry. Are you hallucinating so quickly?"
"No, it's not Young Master Yin, it really is... Master Zhan!"
Qiao Wanwan was startled, slowly turned around, and the next second, her pupils suddenly contracted, and she froze!
For three whole months, this face that had only appeared in her dreams was now right in front of her!
"Uncle... Uncle?" Zhan Yin was also stunned. "Wanwan, it really is Uncle!"
Qiao Wanwan stared blankly at Zhan Jingting as he walked in from the entrance of the banquet hall, while Ruan Tang, with a smile on her face, was holding his arm beside him!
Wen Lijing snapped out of his daze and excitedly stepped forward, saying, "Jingting, you're back!"
Zhan Jingting glanced at him indifferently, a hint of coldness flickering in his eyes.
Wen Lijing felt a chill run down his spine, but he still smiled and said, "It's good that you're back. Everyone was worried about you, especially Wanwan."
Qiao Wanwan took a step with feet that felt like they weighed a ton, and with each step she took, the sense of reality increased!
When she finally stood in front of Zhan Jingting and could see his face clearly through the misty tears in her eyes, she couldn't hold back anymore and hugged him tightly!
A thousand words are stuck in my throat; at this moment, silence speaks louder than words!
Zhan Jingting slowly raised his hand and gently patted her head. His deep voice slowly spoke, "Are you Qiao Wanwan?"
Qiao Wanwan was taken aback, and looked up at him. "What did you call me?"
"Are you my wife, Qiao Wanwan?" the man asked again.
Qiao Wanwan's fingertips trembled. "Jing Ting, why are you asking this? You... don't you recognize me?"
"Does it matter whether I know you or not?" the man asked casually.
Qiao Wanwan trembled violently!
Wen Lijing snapped out of his daze and quickly lowered his voice, "Wanwan, this isn't the place to talk. Let's go somewhere else. Jingting, come with me."
Qiao Wanwan didn't know how she walked into the presidential suite that Wen Lijing had booked; she only knew that when she sat down, she was completely dazed.
She heard Zhan Yin's questioning voice, "Ruan Tang, weren't you blown up? What are you still here!"
Ruan Tang chuckled softly, "Who told you I'm dead? Zhan Yin, you just want me to die, don't you?"
"Was I that obvious?" Zhan Yin made no attempt to hide his disgust. "It would have been better if you were dead, but seeing you always brings trouble! I'm asking you, since you're still alive, why did you disappear for three months before reappearing? And how did my uncle lose his memory? Was it you who did this!"
"Zhan Yin, how could you accuse me like this?" Ruan Tang's face, adorned with exquisite makeup, was full of grievance. "Jing Ting has lost some of his memories, but he's not stupid. How could I possibly do something wrong?"
"The reason we haven't appeared these past few months is because we were all injured and are recovering."
Zhan Yin scoffed, "My uncle has amnesia, but you haven't, have you? Why don't you make a call back to Wutong Bay? We've been searching everywhere, practically turning the entire capital upside down, but we still can't find you. Tell me, did you go to outer space to recuperate?"
Ruan Tang: "......"
Qiao Wanwan snapped out of her daze and asked, "Ruan Tang, you said Jing Ting lost part of his memory, which part?"
“The parts about you are all lost,” Ruan Tang said. “Jing Ting’s memories are stuck before the accident that left him with crippled legs. His later memories are probably all painful, so he selectively forgets them.”
Qiao Wanwan looked at Zhan Jingting in disbelief!
She didn't believe it; she couldn't believe he would forget her completely!
"You're talking nonsense!" Zhan Yin roared. "My uncle loves Wanwan the most, how could he possibly forget her! You must have used despicable means to make my uncle lose his memory!"
"Zhan Yin, you've gone too far!" Ruan Tang's tears came easily, and she cried with tears streaming down her face. "You've always been biased towards Qiao Wanwan, to the point of not being able to distinguish right from wrong. I won't argue with you. Jing Ting will make his own judgment on right and wrong."
Zhan Yin was so angry he felt like his lungs were about to explode. "You have the nerve to discuss right and wrong with me? Have you no shame!"
"Zhan Yin, now is not the time to argue." Wen Lijing looked at Zhan Jingting. "Jingting, no matter what memories you lost, it's good that you're back. Let's go to the hospital to get you checked out and help you recover your memories as soon as possible."
"I'm in good health." Zhan Jingting glanced at him indifferently. "Whether my memory returns or not, I am still me."
Wen Lijing frowned. "Jingting, why do you seem so hostile towards me? Did someone say something to you?"
Qiao Wanwan fought back her tears and said, "Jingting, let's go home first. We can talk about it there, okay?"
"No need." Zhan Jingting glanced at her indifferently. "I'm staying at a hotel for now. I'll have someone deliver the divorce papers to you later."
Qiao Wanwan trembled violently, "You want a divorce?"
Zhan Jingting answered without hesitation, "Yes."
"Uncle, are you crazy? You want to divorce Qiao Wanwan?" Zhan Yin laughed angrily. "Are you a fake Zhan Jingting? The real Zhan Jingting would never divorce Qiao Wanwan!"
Zhan Jingting turned to look at him, his sharp, icy eyes, like those of a hawk, fixed on his face. "You're questioning me, huh?"
Zhan Yin jumped in fright, "You're the real one! A fake Zhan Jingting couldn't possibly have such a powerful aura..."
Zhan Jingting stood up. "Tangtang, let's go."
"Yes, Brother Jingting." Ruan Tang replied obediently. As she stood up, she glanced at Qiao Wanwan, a smug smile flashing in her eyes, before turning and leaving.
Qiao Wanwan understood something, and immediately clenched her hands into fists.
