"I'm not leaving." Su Yimo tried hard to hold back her tears, looking both aggrieved and stubborn. "Grandpa broke his leg, I should stay and take care of him. You can disown me, but you can't stop me from being filial to Grandpa."
Huo Shiqian frowned. "This is Wutong Bay. It's not up to you, or even my grandfather. To put it bluntly, everything here should revolve around my sister Wanwan. You tried to hurt her before, and I won't allow you to stay here."
"I don't remember anything. Am I supposed to atone for my past sins by forgetting things for the rest of my life?" Su Yimo broke down in tears. "If I'm really guilty, the law will punish me, not you! Grandpa is my family, and I must stay and take care of him!"
"What happened?" Su Jing rushed over upon hearing the commotion. "Shi Qian, what's wrong?"
"I told her to leave," Huo Shiqian said coldly. "She shouldn't be here."
Su Jing hesitated for a moment, glanced at Su Yimo, and said, "You should go back to your room and rest first. Shi Qian doesn't have the habit of eating late-night snacks."
"Okay." Su Yimo choked back tears and said, "Mom, you should get some rest too."
Huo Shiqian turned and went into the room. Su Jing followed him in and closed the door before saying, "Don't be angry. I also think it's not appropriate for her to stay here. I've already talked to Jing Ting, but he insists on keeping her here."
"Why?" Huo Shiqian asked, puzzled. "Grandpa wanted to keep them here, and Jingting felt bad refusing because of Wanwan?"
“I asked your grandfather, and he never said that.” Su Jing was also very confused. “Your grandfather originally just wanted to give her some money and then let the matter drop. But Old Yang happened to see her faint, and then Jing Ting brought her back without telling your grandfather.
