All eyes were on Zhan Jingting and Su Yimo, the two people involved.
It was obvious to anyone with eyes that Su Yimo couldn't hide her guilty conscience.
Zhan Jingting's attention was entirely on Qiao Wanwan, as if the matter being argued had nothing to do with him.
"Jing Ting." Huo Shiqian was about to ask for clarification when the Ghost Hand Doctor interrupted him.
"Wanwan, don't you trust Jingting?" the Ghost Hand Doctor asked with a smile.
“Of course I trust him.” Qiao Wanwan replied without hesitation. “My husband’s taste isn’t that bad. Even if he really couldn’t stand being alone and wanted to find a woman, he would never be interested in Su Yimo.”
Su Yimo: "......"
She bit her lower lip tightly, suppressing the hatred that made her want to tear Qiao Wanwan to pieces on the spot!
Zhan Jingting raised his hand and touched Qiao Wanwan's hair. "Wanwan, I'm glad you can trust me."
Qiao Wanwan pouted, "Nonsense, if you don't even have this much trust, what kind of couple are you?"
"Wanwan! Wanwan!" came Old Master Huo's voice from outside the door, "My darling, you're finally awake!"
"Grandpa." Qiao Wanwan, who was leaning against the headboard, sat up. "I'm sorry to have worried you. Is your leg alright?"
"It's alright, you'll be fine after some rest." Grandpa Huo was so excited that he kept wiping away tears. "I'm so happy that you're awake. I've been dreaming about you waking up."
"Grandpa, it's alright now."
Su Yimo was stunned.
During the time she lived in Wutong Bay, although Old Master Huo cared about Qiao Wanwan, it was nowhere near as much as it is now.
She had never seen Old Master Huo cry before, but at this moment he was crying with joy because Qiao Wanwan had woken up!
Then what is she?
Su Yimo's mind was a little foggy, but she quickly composed herself, walked to Grandpa Huo's side, and said obediently, "Grandpa, Wanwan has woken up, you should be happy, why are you crying?"
"You have no right to speak here." Old Master Huo glanced at her and said, "Yi Mo, I am very disappointed in you. I did not expect that you would actually come to seduce Jing Ting."
Su Yimo's mind was in a whirl, buzzing sound. "...Grandpa, what do you mean by that? What do you mean I would really seduce Master Zhan?"
“I am very grateful for your saving me. I was originally going to give you some money to make your life better, but I didn’t expect Jingting to bring you to Wutong Bay.” Old Master Huo said truthfully, “I called Jingting immediately and said it was not appropriate for you to stay here, but Jingting insisted on doing so.”
"It turns out that Wanwan was already showing signs of waking up; her fingers were already moving, but she just hadn't woken up yet. Jingting suspected that she could hear what the people next to her were saying, and perhaps a little stimulation would wake her up. It just so happened that you appeared at this moment; it was perfect for you to stimulate Wanwan."
Everyone: "......"
Su Yimo was completely stunned, even forgetting to cry, and asked blankly, "And then?"
"Jingting told me to protect you, to let you slowly reveal your true nature." Old Master Huo shook his head helplessly. "Originally, I thought that your amnesia had drastically changed your personality, but I didn't expect that, just as Jingting said, you would gradually reveal your true nature..."
Su Yimo was both embarrassed and angry, tears streaming down her face. "So all your kindness and protection of me was just an act? You were all putting on an act to make a fool of me?"
"No, besides Jingting and me, only the Divine Doctor knows about this." Old Master Huo's face was ashen. "I really didn't expect that you would actually set your sights on Jingting and try to get into his bed! Jingting might as well play along and let's see what you do. But I still have to thank you. If it weren't for what happened tonight, Wanwan might not have woken up so quickly."
Cheng Zaozao looked at Zhan Jingting in disbelief. So he was just acting, deliberately trying to wake Qiao Wanwan up?
She actually barged in and caused a huge scene with him!
Grandpa Huo looked at Su Jing and said, "Su Jing, the argument I had with you that day was out of necessity. Please don't hold a grudge against me."
Su Jing suddenly realized what was going on and hurriedly said, "Dad, you were doing this for Wanwan, how could I hold a grudge against you? You should have told me sooner..."
Grandpa Huo explained, "Jing Ting said that the fewer people who know about this, the more realistic it will be."
Su Jing nodded. "That's true."
"Enough!" Su Yimo completely broke down. "You lied to me! You bastards have been lying to me all along!"
“Miss Su, you came to me yourself,” Jiang Dong said. “You don’t actually think I can’t find anything out, do you?”
Su Yimo's heart skipped a beat!
"Investigate what?"
"Of course, it was a show you directed and acted yourself." Jiang Dong laughed sarcastically. "Old Master Huo and the young master almost got hit by a car, that was all your doing, and the female driver was your friend."
"What did you say?" Old Master Huo asked in disbelief. "Jiang Dong, is this true?"
“Absolutely true.” Jiang Dong nodded. “However, Master Zhan instructed us not to tell you, because he was afraid that you wouldn’t be able to act if you knew.”
Old Master Huo's aged face was tense as he looked at Su Yimo and angrily rebuked her, "I was thinking of letting you off the hook because you saved me and Eleven, and that I would give you a lot of money so you could live a good life after Wanwan woke up. I never expected that even the life-saving grace was a scheme by you. You want to use this to return to the Huo family and continue to enjoy wealth and luxury. Don't even think about it!"
Su Yimo burst into tears, her lips moved but she didn't know what to say. Then she couldn't hold back any longer and roared, "What right do you have to criticize me? If it weren't for you, would I be like this now!"
