"Xiao Jiu!" Zhan Jingting quickly grabbed his shoulders. "What's wrong!"
"Daddy..." Xiao Jiu cried out in pain, "My head hurts so much..."
"Don't be afraid, Daddy will call someone right away!"
Zhan Jingting took out his phone and made a call, then picked up Xiao Jiu and put her on the bed.
Xiao Jiu was in so much pain that her face turned pale and she was sweating profusely!
The doctor arrived quickly, examined Xiao Jiu, and administered medication.
About twenty minutes later, the cold sweat on Xiao Jiu's forehead finally stopped.
Zhan Jingting closed his eyes and asked, "Young Master hasn't had an attack in a long time, why is he suddenly like this?"
The doctor nodded respectfully. "Master Zhan, the young master has had a slight cold these past two days, which may be the reason he fell ill. As you know, the young master's body is most vulnerable to a weakened immune system."

"So what do you do when you have an attack? Those people don't have any medicine for you."
"I fell asleep from the pain and didn't know anything about it. When I woke up, the pain wasn't so bad."
Zhan Jingting was heartbroken. That person wasn't asleep at all; they had clearly fainted from the pain!
"Daddy, please don't tell Mommy, okay?" Xiao Jiu pleaded. "I don't want Mommy to be sad."
"I understand." Zhan Jingting composed himself. "Daddy promises you, but you also have to promise Daddy that if you have another relapse and can't bear it, Daddy will be there for you."
"good."
"Sweetie, go to sleep."
Xiao Jiu obediently closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.
"Jingting, how is the child?" The Ghost Hand Doctor rushed over and, seeing that Xiao Jiu was asleep, lowered his voice and asked, "I rushed back as soon as I heard the news. Is he in a lot of pain?"
“It hurt a lot at first, but the doctor gave me some medicine to suppress it, and I just fell asleep,” Zhan Jingting said. “Xiao Jiu lied to us; he had a seizure when he was captured.”

Qiao Wanwan slept until noon the next day, and her energy had recovered considerably.
She got up, washed up, went to check on the children, and then went downstairs to have her meal.

Qiao Wanwan was surprised, "Xiao Jiu has a cold? I didn't notice when we went to the hospital the night before last."

"It's cold, please take good care of them."

Just as the car drove out of Wutong Bay, a person suddenly rushed out and blocked the way!
Fortunately, the car was not going fast, and the driver braked in time, so a collision was avoided!
"Madam, how are you?" the driver asked immediately.

Qiao Wanwan was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured.
"Let's go see who it is?"

Before the driver could get out of the car, the person who had fallen in front of the car stood up, went to the window, and leaned down to look at Qiao Wanwan inside the car.
"Madam, he has ill intentions. Please do not get out of the car yet."
The bodyguard in the passenger seat got out of the car and carefully checked Qiao Shengguo to make sure there were no dangerous items or weapons before stepping back.
Qiao Wanwan rolled down the car window and looked at Qiao Shengguo, "You were looking for me?"
Qiao Shengguo looked much older. "Wanwan, I've looked for you several times, but I couldn't find you. I had no choice but to come to Wutong Bay and wait for you to come out."
"You're here because of Su Yimo, right?" Qiao Wanwan knew without asking. "I'm sorry, I can't help you."
"You can!" Qiao Shengguo knelt down directly in front of Qiao Wanwan. "Wanwan, Yimo did something wrong. I know you won't forgive her, but I beg you, for the sake of our past relationship as father and daughter, let me bear the consequences for her, okay?"
"You'll take the blame for her? Don't tell me I don't have that kind of reach. Even if I did, would I be so eager to let her get acquitted so she could continue to harm people?" Qiao Wanwan's eyes flashed with coldness. "Do you know that she killed two innocent people? The driver and bodyguard in the car were hardworking people. They did nothing, they didn't even know Su Yimo, but they died at her hands!"
